Negai o Kanaete Moraou to Akuma o Shōkan Shitakedo, Kawaikattanode Kekkonshimashita ~ Akuma no Nīdzuma - CH 101
After an unforeseen complication, Theo and Helvi arrived at Luna’s parents’ store.
It was smaller compared to other clothing stores, but once Theo and Helvi entered they saw it was very detail oriented.
The high class stores they visited before had beautiful white walls and ceilings. This brought about an unusual feeling of tension, but that was part of the charm.
This store on the other hand had things like greenery and various ornaments, which made it more relaxing.
“The environment here feels nice…”
“Yes, I also like it.”
“Thank you very much. Look around as much as you like.”
“Many people say it feels like a second hand store, but I guarantee you all the items here are brand new.”
It did feel like a second hand store, but the clothes were clearly new.
There was no stale smell in the air, and that alone made it relaxing.
“Mister Theo! Let’s look at clothes together!”
“Ah, yes, alright.”
Luna held Theo’s hand all the way there, and they walked towards the back of the store, still holding hands.
“I’m sorry miss Helvi. It seems that girl is quite attached to mister Theo.”
“…Well, do not worry about it. Being his actual wife means I can afford to be calmer.”
“Fufu, I see.”
Helvi seemed to be saying something somewhat nonsensical, but Luna’s parents found it charming.
“She has no siblings, so I think she looks up to mister Theo as an older brother.”
“I see. Theo also has no siblings, so he is probably happy to be seen in such a way by Luna.”
“Yes. He seems very happy.”
Theo seemed a little flustered, but mostly happy. Helvi looked into his mind and sure enough, that was true.
If Theo felt Luna was a nuisance, she would separate them even if she had to pry her from him.
“I think Luna also admires you miss Helvi.”
“…Does she?”
“Yes. She is not usually so stubborn with strangers, as she is with the two of you.”
Helvi knew this already by looking into Luna’s mind.
She seemed to look up to Theo like an older brother, and Helvi like an older sister.
Helvi even found herself thinking she was cute, but…
“But if she tries to steal Theo from me, I will not forgive it.”
“Fufufu… Luna may be serious.”
“Hmph. She can try if she wants.”
“Hahaha. It seems Luna picked quite the stubborn opponent.”
Helvi really was thinking about taking her on if Luna went after Theo after reaching adulthood.
If that time came, Helvi would not hold back. What that battle would look like was best left unsaid.
“Don’t you want to look at clothes for you as well? Or are you looking for something specific?”
“Hm, yes, I suppose I am. But whether or not I will find it here is another story.”
“What are you looking for? We will make it for you free of charge.”
“I see, thank you. What I want is…”
Helvi told Luna’s mother what she was looking for.
“As for things such as ornaments, look around the store and tell me what you like. I will use fabric and ornaments that match it.”
“I see, thank you.”
“I would also like to check your measurements. This way please.”
“Ah, I see.”
Helvi always dressed herself by using magic, so she never measured her own body or anything.
It basically meant measuring her bust, waist, and hips.
She went to the back of the store with Luna’s mother, and since her clothes were in the way, she undressed down to her underwear.
“You really do have a nice figure, miss Helvi… As a woman, I’m jealous.”
“Really? I guess I do.”
It was never something that Helvi cared much about, but after meeting Theo, Helvi was more aware of her own appearance.
She knew all too well what it was like to be on the receiving end of jealous stares from other women.
“I’m jealous of Theo for hogging a woman with a body like yours all to himself.”
“…How direct.”
“Fufu, was it?”
It was clearly intentional.
“You two are young, so it’s every night, isn’t it?”
“…Well, yes.”
“Fufu, I knew it!”
Theo was indeed young, but Helvi was not. She was easily over ten thousand years old.
“Does Theo usually initiate it or…”
“…I do.”
“Ah, I knew Theo was the passive type.”
“Did you?”
“Yes, because I’m the same way.”
“I-I see…”
Helvi was a little thrown off by a topic she usually did not discuss with strangers, but was still interested.”
“Don’t you come up with schemes to make him initiate it?”
“S-schemes? What kind of schemes?”
“Fufufu, then I’m going to offer you something besides the clothes we talked about.”
Luna’s mother said with a bewitching smile.
