Negai o Kanaete Moraou to Akuma o Shōkan Shitakedo, Kawaikattanode Kekkonshimashita ~ Akuma no Nīdzuma - CH 115
“There’s no good men around here…”
“They’re all so boring.”
Keira and Cress sat at a table outside of a cafe, after hunting for men around town.
They wanted to find nice men on their first day off in a while and have some fun, but…
“This place is full of nobles and mercenaries, so I thought it’d be a great place to find some nice men, but…”
“There’s plenty of adventurers and nobles, but no good ones… Maybe we’re just not lucky.”
They often ‘caught’ and had fun with men, but wanted them to be nice men.
And by nice, they meant nice looking men. Personality was also important, but if they were only going to have fun for one night, looks were the most important factor.
Their tastes were similar.
“I like slender, cute guys, but I didn’t see any.”
“Yes. I’ve only been with rugged mercenaries lately, so I really wanted a nice man for a change.”
Since they were mercenaries, it was easier for them to ‘catch’ other mercenaries, but most did not suit their tastes.
They loved timid, slender men that looked young. Part of the reason why they got together as a party was because their tastes in men were so similar.
There were not many mercenaries that suited their taste, but occasionally they would find sons of nobles that did. That was also part of the reason why they stuck around with Dario.
But in the end, hanging around Dario never led to them meeting nice men, and he ended up dying after screwing up really badly.
“You know, there’s a lot of fat nobles in this country uh?”
“It’s a different culture. Being fat is like a symbol of wealth. Our culture’s not like that.”
“Ah, you’re right. That’s why Dario was so fat too.”
“Nah, he was just a fatso.”
“Hahaha! He was!”
They watched people passing by as they talked.
Bulky mercenaries would walk by, and they would look at each other as if to say ‘nope’.
Small nobles would walk by, but while they did like younger men, their fat body type would also lead to a ‘nope’ from them.
This continued for a while… Until they finally found what they were looking for.
“…! Cress, look…!”
“Yes, pretty ripe.”
He was ten centimeters shorter than them, slender, and seemed to be close to adulthood but not there yet.
They only saw his face in profile, but thought it was very cute.
He did not seem to be a noble, but was wearing nice clothes. They assumed he was the son of a merchant or something along those lines.
“Nice. It’s been a while since I’ve seen someone that checks all the boxes like that.”
“Yes, he’s perfect. I’m definitely having that.”
They got up and approached the man.
◇ ◇ ◇
Theo went outside wearing the clothes he bought in the capital.
It was the first time in a while that he was alone.
He thought about staying in their room, but figured since he was in the capital, he might as well go outside.
He walked around town with Helvi the previous day, but the capital was very large, and there was still a lot to see and plenty of places to go.
“There are a lot of weapons stores around here… I guess the mercenary guild of the capital is nearby.”
There were places such as cafes as well, but this street was dominated by weapons and armor stores.
Theo had started using a dagger recently as well, so he would stop and look at weapons in shopfronts for just a bit.
“Ah, this one’s cool…”
Although he used a dagger, he was still drawn to swords with long blades.
His eyes widened when he looked at the price.
“Eh? It’s cheaper than I thought! I have just enough money with me to buy it if I want…”
He stood in front of the store for a while, thinking about his financial situation, and then…
“Do you have a problem?”
“Eh?”
“Can we help? Yes, let’s help.”
Two women suddenly appeared by his side. On the right, a woman with a blue ponytail, and on the left a woman with long black hair.
Theo was surprised. He did not sense them approaching at all.
“W-who are you?”
“I’m Keira.”
“And I’m Cress. What’s your name?”
“T-Theo.”
“What a cute name Theo.”
“Yes, you have a very interesting name.”
“T-thank you…?”
Theo thanked them, although he was not sure if he was being complimented.
It was difficult to move with them positioned on each side, and they were standing very close for some reason.
“So… What do you want with me?”
“You were really focused on this weapon here, so we were thinking you were having money problems or something.”
“Do you want us to buy it for you? Let’s buy it for him.”
“Yes. This is like a sign or something.”
“Eh!?”
Theo had no idea what kind of sign they were talking about, and could not stop them from taking the sword inside the store.
A few seconds later, it was in Theo’s hands.
