Negai o Kanaete Moraou to Akuma o Shōkan Shitakedo, Kawaikattanode Kekkonshimashita ~ Akuma no Nīdzuma - CH 116
Theo was amazed as he held the sword in his hands, before snapping out of it and speaking to the two women he just met.
“Eh? D-did you really buy it!?”
“Yep. It was pretty cheap too.”
“I-I can’t accept this! We just met…!”
“You’re a nice boy. A very nice boy. Oh my, sorry, I drooled a little…”
Cress wiped her mouth, which drooled for some reason.
Still, even though the sword was cheap compared to other long bladed swords, it was a different story when compared to other swords.
The money it cost was easily enough for someone living alone to support himself for a month. There was no way someone would just buy this for someone they just met, and knew nothing about aside from his name.
“It’s fine. We bought it cause we wanna be friends with you. Please accept it.”
“B-but…!”
“It’s fine. Meeting you was also a reward in itself.”
“W-what do you mean?”
“Mufuh. Then how about this Theo, you take it and you owe us one?”
“Eh? Owe you one?”
“Yes. You’ll owe us one.”
“A-alright…”
A bewitching shine could be seen in the women’s eyes when Theo responded.
They looked at each other, and communicated without Theo noticing.
(Dinner is served.)
(Well done. Well done. Let’s do it.)
(I just want to grab him and take him to an inn right now.)
(Let’s do that.)
They wiped away drool once again without making it seem obvious to Theo.
They wanted to take him away right then and there and slowly have their fun. It was still around noon, but they had no intention of letting him go until the next morning.
Theo was just perfect for them to relieve their frustration.
(Can we take him now?)
(Yes, let’s.)
They signaled to each other as a means of confirmation. Each was about to grab one of Theo’s arms and forcibly take him with them.
“Then do you want to eat with me!?”
“Eh…?”
“Eh…?”
Theo asked before they actually touched him. This surprising question made them stop.
“E-eat?”
“Yes! I wanted to bring a boxed lunch with me, but I brought two out of habit!”
Theo took out two big boxes out of his bag, and laughed with embarrassment.
Watching this smile went beyond just making the two women’s hearts race, and it actually hurt a little.
“I-I see…”
“Yes, so you can eat them! Ah, but I’m not saying we’re even or anything! It’s just a little token of my appreciation…”
Theo showed them the boxed lunch with cute gestures, as if he expressed his emotions with his body.
“D-did you make this, Theo?”
“Yes! I did!”
“A-alright.”
“I made it the same way as always and I tasted it, so I can vouch for its taste!”
They wanted to drag him to an inn right away and go for many rounds, but the two women now had a dilemma.
Neither had ever eaten something cooked by a man they liked, and because of the fat noble, they had eaten nothing since early that morning. It was now lunch time, and they were hungry.
Do it, or eat?
As they struggled with this question, Theo interjected.
“Hum… Don’t you want it?”
“I do!”
“Of course I do!”
“…! Great!”
They could not overlook someone that was exactly their type lowering the lunch box in his hands, with a sad look on his face.
“But where can we sit down and eat in peace…”
“…!”
Keira decided the time was now.
(We can tell him we should go eat in an inn and take him there. Two birds with one stone…!)
“There’s a hill near here. How about we go eat there?”
“Ah, I see! Can you guide me there?”
“Yes, this way.”
“Oh!?”
But Cress was already taking action, and ruining Keira’s plans.
Not only that, but she left Keira behind and walked alongside Theo.
Keira then rushed to Theo’s other side, and the two spoke to each other with their eyes alone.
(Cress! Why didn’t you suggest we take him to an inn!?)
(Ah? Because I want to eat his lunch outside.)
(What is this a picnic!? We could’ve killed two birds with one stone!)
(You don’t get it you idiot. You big idiot.)
(What!?)
(What reason is there not to eat outside with this cute Theo on such a lovely day?)
(Cress… Are you falling in love for real?)
(…So?)
The stare conversation continued, with Theo in the middle.
