Negative -Girls: To Live And Die - Chapter 44
I approach them slowly as if I were a cat trying to catch a mouse.
“Who the fuck are you?” says Sharp Eyes, stepping back and a fix stare.
“Could he be a teacher?” Fatty whispers but maybe her fat lips give it away. I can hear from them from this distance.
Or maybe it’s my superhuman ears. Do I have superhuman ears? Maybe. Sometimes I can hear something normal people can’t. They’re coming under my feet.
What am I talking about? Anyway, back to the silly scene.
Nerdy shakes her head, “Can’t be, I’ve never seen him. You know I’ve remembered every teacher’s face so I can avoid them anywhere.”
I smile and sprawl my hand, to assure them I’m not a threat or at least try to make them believe that, “you’re right, I’m no teacher–not that high at least.” They squint their eyes as I continue, “Rather, I’m a big fan of Yo-Lo.”
Fatty gasps as her small eyes extend limitedly, “Oh my gosh, already? I don’t know we’re a popular team now. Do you think it’s because we won our last tournament?”
“Urg,” Sharp Eyes flicks Fatty’s nose to red, “he’s not a real fan, okay? What’s not so obvious about that? We don’t call ourselves Yo-Lo, we’re Yell-o.”
I see. I’ll give Xin an anal if I see her again. Just kidding. Unless…
Nerdy has been scanning me from down to up for a while now, “He wants something from us.” She blows out a noisy breath.
Woah, am I that easy to read now? I remember my win streak at a poker table once. They called me a corpse because the dead wear no expression. Ah. New past memory unlock. Keep it up.
“Who are you?” Nerdy asks, crossing her arms.
I begin, “I just told you I’m–”
Rumbles.
Woah, woah, wait. I decide to drop the act when their feet are about to twist and make a run, luckily that rock helped me realize it. If that happens then I couldn’t have asked them anything about Carrie. “Wait, wait. All right, I’ll tell you.”
“Tell us,” they demand, knowing they have the upper hand.
I clear my throat and fix my tie–oh, I forgot to wear one. “I’m Sunbae.”
“Sun bear?” Fatty repeats, “where have I heard that before?”
Nerdy helps her out by slapping Fatty’s forehead, “Sunbae. It’s Korean, probably you’ve heard it on K-drama something.”
Ahah, so it is Korean. It feels very ironic for a delinquent girl to be the one who confirmed that to me.
Fatty (and somehow me) makes an ‘ooh’ and. Then she furrows at me. They three do. What, don’t tell me they don’t buy it. Well, I may be asking too much after popping out like a mole. I don’t expect a group of girls to believe in what I say. There’s never an easy way. I pull out my wallet.
Sharp eyes look around only to see only we’re here, “Why are you waiting for us?”
“I have to ask you three a favour.”
I open my wallet. If anything I can do with money is to deal with delinquent girls. I heard they love money–well, everyone loves it but some would do to an extent. If I’m lucky these three could turn out to be scumbags and would be more than happy to leave their friendship behind for the sake of green papers.
Sharp eyes scowl and jab her finger at me, “Look, Sunbae. I know what you’re thinking of us. Yeah, we look like bad students. Failure. But we have dignity, we don’t suck strangers.”
Immediately, I stop pulling on the cash.
Nerdy coughs and Fatty flushes. They’re still pure girls then, undefiled to have so much reaction to ‘sucking strangers.’ Even Sharp Eyes’ cheek dabs with mild pink yet she tries to keep her posture and stares are firm.
I don’t blame them for thinking of my ‘favour’ as ‘suck me to get paid.’ I do pull money like that with my desperated eyes, I don’t know.
I shrug, “Not my intention just to make it clear,” it isn’t the best time to hold up my wallet so I push it back in my pocket.
Also as a receiver, I wouldn’t want it from any stranger, too. First, I may get a disease. Sudden blowjob doesn’t sound so fun now, doesn’t it? Unless they’re super hot then I wouldn’t want to risk it.
“Then what do you want from us?”
“I apologize but I’m not a fan of Yo-Lo or Yell-o honestly,” not anymore I was only pretending, if I got you with that then… Heh, you surely need to get scammed more. Anyway, when I told them that Fatty seemed depressed a little. I continue, “That out of the way, I’m actually a tutor for your team leader.”
Fatty and Sharp Eyes turn to Nerdy with a ‘he is your tutor?’ expression sprawling on their faces.
Nerdy shakes her head, “He’s not speaking about me. It’s Carrie.”
I thought Carrie was the team leader. Both Sharp eyes and Fatty had a different opinion. It must have to do something with Carrie being the most unlikeable character. But who cares, she’s cute. Cute girl should be treated like god to them. So they can’t do anything but to call Carrie their team leader. The public opinion would like that too.
Sharp eyes touches her chin, “Does Carrie have a new tutor already?”
“Ah,” Fatty smiles as if something has raised her self-esteem saying she’s smart, “I think every month they got a new one, don’t they.”
“A male?” doubts Sharp Eyes as she checks and rechecks me.
Yes, a hundred percent male here.
Fatty decides to scan me and gets herself blushing, “And hot, too…”
Nerdy and Sharp eyes turn to her in disbelief. Fatty jerks up and quickly corrects herself, “I–I meant, fine-looking haha, we have dignity, we don’t suck stranger…?” she asks?
I take a sigh before replying to all of their questions, “Yes, Carrie Alter, yes, new tutor, yes and no, every first of the month they do election, yes, male, yes or nor, depends on opposite sex preference, and yes, never suck strangers.”
They eyes me with disgust. The former user’ desire tingle. Come down little guy, you like femdom doesn’t mean I should expreience one too. I would like to give it a chance but come on now, not with them. If it’s Shizuka I’d let it slide.
Ehem. Anyawy…
I clap my hand as if I’m Sohee (she always claps it suggestively, I’ve learnt from the best) “I’ve heard you’re going to be late for your meet-up with our team leader. Why don’t we make a move to..” what is it again, ah, “Pay and play now. We talk along our way.”
I use too much ‘we,’ Nerdy starts wrinkling her nose, picking my wording up. “It’s not and never ‘we,’” she rounds her palm over her chest and to the other two, “just ‘us’, excluding ‘you.’”
“Excluding is a complicated word.” So let’s forget about excluding anyone.
I take out my wallet again. The girls’ eyes flash. I show them my palm, “Before you could have some more misunderstanding, my favour is but pure and innocent.”
Sharp eyes hmmped, “money never is pure or innocent.”
Woah, someone had a bad childhood. Probably one time she got her lunch money stolen by someone, told teachers about it and turns out her mother is actually the one who had to stole them (for cigarettes.)
Delinquent or not, young people like her shouldn’t think money is evil. It’s too early for you to worry about something like this. Enjoy now, regret later–that’s how youth should be.
“Let’s make a deal,” I start, “I’ll pay you three to let me be friends with you for today and I’ll go away.”
“No,” Sharp eyes and Nerdy refuse in unison (Fatty lagged only a few seconds.)
Okay, maybe friend is a bit too sudden.
Nerdy suggests, “We can just shout out for help here, you’re creepy, and we’re just a group of girls.”
Ohoh, “Wouldn’t that also make you three in trouble?” because they’re escapees.
“We just ran before anything came up.”
Goddamit, this nerd has some tricky brain. Wouldn’t expect less from the second-in-charge of Yo-Lo squad.
“Look,” I say as if this is my last try and they should be sympathetic toward me now, “I’ll pay right and only ask you three questions.”
Nerdy sighs, “Sorry, Sunbae. But we can’t be seen or stay too much time here, okay? Three questions from any teacher or tutor will never be just three.” I could relate to that. She continues, “We have to get going…” As she twirls around Sharp eyes and Fatty don’t budge to follow her.
“What the hell are you two doing?”
Sharp eyes groan, her eyes stare at my wallet. “I am a bit cut of money now…”
“Are we doing this right now?” Nerdy turns to them with an irritation.
Sharp eyes nod and face me with firm eyes, “O k a y, let’s make a deal, Sun-Bae.”
I smile and open up my wallet to show my paper stacks.. I like where this is going.
