- Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Prototype? What does that mean?
These words rang in her mind as that finished scanning her body. Nera was disconcerted to hear that. She looked everywhere but saw no one.
“Where did that voice come from?” Nera muttered.

But that voice kept ringing in her head.

Nera almost said no, afraid of being harmful to her. After all, she didn’t understand what it was.
But in the end, even reluctantly, she said “yes” in her mind.
As she did so, she felt a very sharp pain in her head. She held her head in both hands as she moaned in pain. It was an agonizing pain that would make any normal person not think twice and kill themselves to end their suffering.
But Nera was anything but normal. She went through many experiences, constantly suffering from pain because of it. She often wanted her own death. She could only bear this torment because she still hoped she could escape and return to her family.
She continued to feel a lot of pain in her head that got to the point where she passed out.
Next morning.
Nera woke up face down on the bed next to some monster cores. As soon as she opened her eyes. She saw something that made her disconcerted. A window like an open but transparent book was in front of it.
She got up and this window followed her movements. It was very strange, luckily, she had learned to read from her older sister Elsa, so she started reading what she was saying in that window that looked more like a page from a book open to her.

Nera looked at that with a confused expression. Her two eyebrows were together, expressing her confusion. She has never seen or heard of anything like this. Since she was from her 5 years old to her 9 years old stuck in this lab.
But still, this was not something that would go unnoticed if it was a common understanding, which made her think it was something unique created in this lab.
“But why was this business in my room? Is this also some kind of test I’m being tested on?”
Nera was lost in confusion. The more she tried to think about this the more confused she became by it.
“Prototype? What does that mean? “Nera wondered without knowing this word, she had never heard anyone speak of it before.
More important to her now was knowing what these functions meant. She didn’t know what inventory was, but she had some idea what status was. While the other 3 were blocked, she didn’t think much about them.
Just as she thought of inventory and status, two translucent windows appeared in front of her.
A window was dominated by large voids of icon slots. There were six spaces below and then across, for a total of sixty icon slots. There was also what looked like a coin counter in the lower-left corner.
In the other window, it was something telling her status-related information.

Nera though confused she tried to remain calm and understand everything that was happening to her.
Nera soon began to gasp and the status and inventory window began to shudder and close.
Feeling very tired, she lay on the bed. “It made me very tired. Does it waste my energy when I leave these windows open?”
Although she is curious and doubtful about it. She could only test and find out for herself.
But how very tired she was now. Nera began to feel heavy eyes, but even before bed, she didn’t forget to hide the monster cores under the bed.

The next morning. Nera was sitting on the bed with a monster core in her hands. While she meditated.
She remembers seeing her older sister Elsa do that. Because of that, it wasn’t hard for her to imagine that it would help her turn on the multicolored lights.
Unknown to her. Nera had been meditating for a long time. Right in her hands, the core of the monsters fell apart, as the energy contained in it was completely absorbed by her.
“That’s the same feeling I feel when I’m very tired and so I finally get a glass of water getting rid of all my tiredness, but it’s even more intense.”
Nera felt immersed in that sensation. She didn’t expect him to feel so good meditating using a monster core. Usually when she did that she felt very tired. But now she was feeling refreshed and full of energy.

“With just 1 monster core of these, make 10 multicolored lights form. It seems like each light from them is equivalent to 0.01 energy and force.”
Nera calculated as she looked through their status.
There were still 9 other cores. All the size of a tear. She knew these cores would help her a lot. Although, it took a long time for her to absorb.
“Better wait until I get the food and then I can go back to meditation.”
Having that in mind. Nera went to the bathroom to take a shower, to get rid of the sweat from her body.

A commotion was caused in the lab. Someone had stolen a prototype from the lead scientist in the lab.
Plus, he did it in a stroke of luck. He was still analyzing how he got it. But someone had the courage to steal.
“I want those who stole from me dead!!” A man in a white coat said loudly, fuming with rage. It was as if he could eat someone alive with such anger that he was feeling.
