Chapter 10: Balls Expansion: Netori Milk Fountain!
“What? You can slice people up, but when you get a taste of your own medicine, you start speaking in riddles? Bullshit. You’re gonna get more of these hands whether you want to or not—cause a real man gotta pay his debts, and Arian, you owe me stacks of payback.” While still pressing his foot on Arian’s throat, Mithras crouched and leaned over, whispering straight into the noble’s ear before hammering his fist into his temple—MMA finish style.
With one foot on Arian’s throat and the other in his mouth, Mithras stayed crouched, stomping and smashing the Astalon young noble. In a flash, Arian’s body had welcomed hundreds of blows, covered from head to toe with hundreds of cuts and bruises.
“Ffff…fff!” Noticing that Arian was choking on his own blood, Mithras placed an Immolation Mark on the young noble’s neck, collected the mirror he used to play god, then stood up. The mark vanished right afterward, not discovered by either Arian or Cassandra.
Streams of blood poured out of Arian’s messed-up lips, but he just lay on the ground, breaking into tears.
“Yo my man how you gonna be so pathetic?! Where are your balls? It ain’t a good look! You are starting to look like a waste of oxygen, a blown-up doll of estrogen that went from mini boss to mini bitch in less than a minute.
Shame, real shame! I expected more from you. But I guess it was too much to ask. Cause if it looks like a bitch, acts like a bitch, moans like a bitch and struts like a bitch…it’s probably a bitch!” Mithras sighed with dramatic flair. The dark-red flames vanished, but the slit violet eyes remained, staring at Arian with irresistible pressure.
“What? Cat got your tongue? Got nothing else to say? It ain’t right my man…cause I still want to hear you squirm,” Mithras said and raised his right hand. A tiny red snake tattoo appeared on Mithras’ forearm, and recognizing this mark, Cassandra panicked.
“Mithras…wait! Arian is the most favored student of the Red Cloud Theocracy’s headmistress and a chosen with hopes to become the next Grand Priest! You can’t afford to kill him!”
Had Arian not been her son, Cassandra wouldn’t have been able to tolerate him. Not only did he act like a spoiled bitch, but he was a bitch that desperately tried to overcompensate by playing alpha male with no credibility whatsoever.
It’s not like Cassandra had anything against bitches. But in her mind, the same way a woman shouldn’t appear masculine, a beta bitch didn’t have to pretend to be what he wasn’t: a man. In fact, during his childhood, Cassandra often dressed her son as a girl—calling him “her princess” behind closed doors and hoping that he’d grow up to be the same cute and adorable child—he didn’t.
But at the end of the day, Arian was Cassandra’s son, her one and only child—a child that she’d doted upon from infancy to maturity. How could she stand still and watch him die?
However, when Mithras turned sideways, staring at Cassandra with a blank and inexpressive look, the Astalon matriarch realized…that her words had no weight.
“Godmother…if the Red Cloud Theocracy learns about my powers and potential, who do you think they will prioritize? Me or Arian?
My Wrathful God Fire comes from an Antigod? So what?
I possess a mutation and half-monster blood? So what?
Before the appeal of a saint-class Mutation, a God-level Inner Flame and the potential to dominate the continent, do any of that matter?
I am no longer a child and understand my real value. But do you really?” Mithras asked in a calm and straightforward tone, and stunned by the words, Cassandra reeled back, unable to come up with a counter.
Ignoring her, Mithras clenched his right fist, causing over a dozen blood-colored sigils to appear in the underground dwelling. From each one of these sigils, massive snakes poured out, hissing at Arian. Each came from a variety of monstrous snake species, but all at least looked thicker than an adult man’s waist. These snakes stared at Arian, baring their fangs, and revealing dripping venom.
“Tssss!”
“Beast Summoning…Mantra? You…have signed a blood pact with monsters?” Overwhelmed by fear, Arian panicked, shaking his head and scrambling to put distance between the beasts and him.
At the moment, Arian didn’t care that Mithras possessed a Sid Flame, didn’t care that he could use the Beast Summoning Mantra or form a blood pact with various snake monsters. All he wanted was to get out of this place and preserve his life.
Sadly, each one of these serpents possessed at least Minor Expansion strength, making it impossible for Arian to escape. One Gore-Blooded Boa latched upon Arian, coiling around his waist and trapping the young noble between its thick red scales.
This one had no venom, yet Arian’s skin turned sickly pale, and he wetted his pants.
“My dear noble master, you have two choices ahead of you: one, become food for my pets, and two, get on your knees, prostrate yourself at my feet, and beg for my forgiveness like the little bitch you are. Do so and I might just spare your life,” Mithras made his intentions clear.
Truth be told, Mithras wanted to kill Arian, but he couldn’t. Of the 13 Red Cloud Pythons that he’d conquered during that fated night, only one remained—with the others having all died in a catastrophic battle against a Golden Palace warlock that aimed to capture and exploit Cassandra’s Burning Land Gene.
The only one that survived the fight also suffered such a serious injury that its Sid rank had dropped from the later stages of Great Expansion all the way down to the third level of Inner Accumulation.
Thanks to the sacrifice of Mithras’ strongest troops and the murder of that warlock, Cassandra obtained a Blood Reincarnation Crystal, giving her the ability to improve her battle prowess through murder and blood absorption.
Powerful snake monsters weren’t that easy to find. Before he collected stronger monsters, that injured Red Cloud Python was Mithras’ strongest subordinate—still not enough to face the Red Cloud Theocracy. As for using his talent to seduce them, that was just a lie. Just like Cassandra, they would try to exploit and milk him for all he was worth.
But above all, if he wanted to keep Cassandra under control, Mithras couldn’t kill her only child now. He still had work to do…to conquer her completely and possess her in body and soul.
Only then would he be free to end Arian’s life.
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t make the Astalon young noble pay for his crimes.
“Heresy! You are my servant! You…belong to me! It’s you who betrayed me by ganging up with my mother and hiding things from me! Where was your loyalty? Why should I apologize? If anything—”
“Tsss!” As Arian rattled off, the serpents lunged forth, fighting for space as they dropped their massive jaws on the young noble. All along, Mithras stayed stoic.
“Being just to the people that have treated you fairly is basic human decency. You don’t even have that in you, but want to talk about loyalty? Entitled brat. You sicken me.” Mithras shook his head, motioning for his snakes to eat Arian.
“Nononono! Please! Please! I don’t want to die!” Arian begged in a hurried tone. Here, Mithras snapped his fingers, and the serpents halted their charge, pulling away from Arian.
Cassandra believed that, for her sake, Mithras wouldn’t go all the way through and end Arian’s life—that he probably just wanted payback and was way too smart to complicate his life with such a mistake. So, she didn’t intervene.
Now, the Astalon matriarch realized that, having lost Ishtar and the Slave Seal, she didn’t have anything that guaranteed Mithras would stay by her side anymore. Without the seal, the slave contract was just a piece of paper and couldn’t be relied upon.
Cassandra’s mind became a chaotic mess, making it difficult for her to find a way to handle the situation.
The Gore-Blooded Boa let go of Arian. The young noble fell face-first, scrambling to get on his knees, and trembling from head to toe. Arian’s tears cascaded down his cheeks, but still he obeyed, prostrating himself at Mithras’ feet.
“I…I’m…sorry!”
“LOUDER AND WITH MORE CONVICTION!” Mithras snapped immediately, causing the mother and son pair that had never seen that side of him to flinch in shock.
“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I shouldn’t have separated you from your sister! I shouldn’t have tried to kill you! I was jealous! I was just jealous and…confused! Please forgive me!” Devolving into a ball of misery, Arian repeatedly banged his head on the floor, kowtowing at Mithras.
Unprepared for such words, Cassandra staggered, her brows furrowing instantly. The words had no impact on Mithras, who looked at Arian as if it were not a person, but a pile of filth that lay at his feet.
