She warped Shiv somewhere where he can’t interfere with her battle. She doesn’t really want anyone to help her.

“Aurora, you’re not supposed to be doing this. We just need to defeat them and send them back to the island.” Zeth said.

“I don’t think defeating them would answer the question considering they still have one left who hasn’t made her move yet,” Aurora knows something.

“What are you talking about? Do you mean, the girl with the mask? She’s also a player and there’s no way she can defeat all of us if we defeat these kids.” Zeth thinks that power and numbers can solve everything.

“Unless she’s not just a player. And for now, I am not doing anything here, to be honest, I’m just buying us time while I can.” What is Aurora talking about? The strongest player saying that she’s the one who’s buying everyone time?

“But… you’re overestimating them. You should believe in us as well.” Zeth is trying…

“I believe in you guys that’s why I can’t let you guys get killed because if you die within four hours, there’s no way we could take back the city again.” She replied.

She’s right. If they all die, four hour spawn time will give these people enough time to take the city like it’s nothing making it their safe zone and that means the invaders can resurrect in the city unless they could kill all of them.

As long as some of the leaders are still alive, they can still respawn in the city and still defend. For the invaders, if they were killed before they could capture the city, they will respawn in the Island giving the defenders the advantage.

“Fine, but if you were to be killed, we’ll definitely not just stand by and see you die.” All the beef has been squashed I guess… Even Zeth is being reasonable.

“Yeah, yeah. Suit yourself. And now, how about I take it up a notch! TIME MANAGEMENT!” Is it just me or Aurora’s moves sound so weird.

“What did she do this time?!” Olu exclaimed.

“What is this kind of feeling… I can sense bits and pieces of her mana around of us. Nakel and Olu, I think it’s time to remove your heavy armors.” Pheel… what are you up to.

“Really? This is the right time?” Nakel seems to be in doubt.

“Yes. You won’t be able to do it when you’re already dead anyway so, just do it.” Pheel ordered. Aurora’s starting to walk slowly.

Both Olu and Nakel removed their heavy armors and after they dropped the armors, it fell like they were heavy boulders! Talking about cliche! All that’s left is their regular inner shirt and pants but they’re still holding their ax and gauntlets.

“Same training just like in real life, huh. Let’s see if it’s effective in-game.” Aurora’s provoking them.

“NAKEL, LET’S DO IT!” Both Olu and Nakel rushed towards Aurora! They moved so fast this time like they’re not carrying those heavy weapons at all!

*SWOOOOSH!* A swift side slash from Olu! Even with their improved speed, Aurora dodged it by moving away!

*BAAAAAM!* Nakel appeared above Aurora and unleashed a powerful drop punch! But it missed and she hit the ground instead! Aurora disappeared in front of them even with their enhanced speed!

“Where-” Nakel can’t seem to find her!

*CLANG!* Olu was able to block the attack of Aurora in time before she could land a hit on Nakel! With the power of Olu, she has knocked away after Olu pushed her. Aurora can’t land a clean hit with them looking at their backs.

“SWIFT FISTS!” With Nakel getting a good view of Aurora, she swiftly moved with her fists below her face like a boxer.

*SWOOOOSH SWOOOSH!* Aurora, even with her sword, Nakel launches quick jabs but Aurora seems to be dodging all the hits!

*STAB*

“AHHH!” A quick stab from below stopped Nakel’s barrage of fist and wounded the side of her cheek! She managed to dodge it before it could land a fatal blow!

“GAAAAAH!” Olu’s also going to make another sideswiping behind Aurora but with Nakel in front of her, Olu might be able to hit Nakel as well!

Aurora jumped beautifully to avoid the attack from the side but…

“No, you’re not!” Olu’s ax trajectory suddenly changed and instead of a side swing, it became an upper wing!

*CLANG* Aurora used her sword to block the attack but it was too powerful that the force of the attack created waves that cut right through her defense giving her slight wounds around her!

“KHAAAAAANUUUUUN!” What?! But how?! Khanun appeared above Aurora who’s getting pushed up and ready to unleash his signature move!

“What?!” Aurora tried to use her time stop ability to stop the attack but… Kinny’s alive and used silence on her location before she could do cast anything to counter! How on earth are they alive?!

*BOOOOOOOM!* Both Olu and Nakel get out of the way before they could hit by the blast!

Aurora was hit by Khanun’s attack and she fell to the ground with the massive explosion!

“AURORA!” Zeth rushed to the area of the explosion and when he got there, Aurora’s already standing using her sword to help her up.

“Are you, ok?! Seriously, what is wrong with you?!” Zeth is seriously worried. Even if she feels like she’s the strongest, her abilities have limits.

“I’m fine. Just go back to the audience area and let me handle-”

*CLANG*

Pheel appeared beside them and Zeth attacked her. Pheel blocked the attack easily like Zeth doesn’t even exist.

“Is that all you’ve got, Aurora? I caught you off-guard, didn’t I? I can’t only resurrect monsters but the bodies of the players as well. That’s the difference between a World Boss’ Soul and a Legendary’s.

“And you’re so proud of yourself because you can only fight with that lousy monster soul? Can you even fight without using that monster soul’s power?” Aurora smiled. Even with all those injuries, she knows that they can only fight like that because they have powers they don’t deserve.

“I don’t care what you say! You won’t get inside my head anymore! You’re the ones that don’t deserve everything.” Pheel thinks that they’re doing the right thing.

“Yeah? You’re fighting for what? For the sake of humanity or for the sake of power? You do know that we’re just pawns in this war, right?”

“Yeah, and there’s only one solution to end all of this. Just give us the head of Aries and we’ll give you spot to the people who will be saved.” Pheel doesn’t make any sense!

“You’re a monster!” Zeth pulled back. He concentrated his mana and unleashed a giant light sword from above Pheel!

*CLANG* Pheel blocked his attack! She’s even powerful than before. She’s going all out.

“Don’t interfere! IMMORTAL KING’S HAND OF DEATH!” She created a hand that chokes Zeth and lifted him up through the air!

But day by day, I figure out how to solve the puzzle and that’s why I left. The end is near but the end is also the start and everyone deserves to be in it.”

“You’re still blabbering about that huh. You won’t be saying that when we kill every one of you-

“NULLIFICATION!” Mari used a spell to nullify the attack of Pheel.

“HEALING LIGHT!” And she used all her mana to pour healing light towards Aurora’s location!

“Even if you heal her, she still wooooo-”

For a moment, it felt like the world felt like it went to slow motion for a bit!

“oon’t do anything. Nakel and Olu get… wait where is she?!” Pheel looked at Aurora again but she’s already gone! They stayed close to each other because they don’t know what could she do.

“SPACE GOD’S WARP PRISON!” Before Pheel could do anything, she is surrounded by warp prison that she can’t get out! A warp that when you use it, your body gets distorted!

“TIME GOD’S RETURN TO DUST!” Then… Aurora appeared in front of Pheel and flick her to the forehead…

“Should I say goodnig-” Before Pheel could finish what she is saying, her body started to get older and older till she can’t speak anymore.

“Pheel. I won’t allow you to die here. NULLIFICATION!” It’s… the girl with the red mask!

Aurora poured her remaining mana for that last attack disabling her monster form but it was easily canceled by the girl in the mask!

Aurora planned everything carefully to defeat their leader but she failed in the end.

“Unfortunately, I don’t think my job here is done.” Pheel absorbed life force around her withering everything that has life healing her and making her young again.

“So, you finally showed up.” Aurora knows her as well.

“I can’t let my army die and Pheel is my army. Don’t worry, I’m having fun watching you guys suffer so I’ll just watch for now.” The girl in the mask replied.

“You know Miss, this could be done easily if you help us,” Pheel complained.

“Shush. Now kill them.” She ordered.

“Aurora, if you only didn’t leave us.” Pheel looks at Aurora like she doesn’t have a choice.

“Get on with it then.” Aurora just smiled and stood there and lifted her sword. She’s not going to die without fighting back.

“IMMORTAL KING’S SCYTHE OF DEATH!” An attack that oozing with so much malice! There’s no way she can block an attack like that without a monster soul!

*CLAAAAANG* A powerful sonic wave echoed throughout the whole area! Pheel attack was blocked by someone?!

“…”

“You’re late, Maisie.” Aurora sensed her aura before others did.
