I wasn’t expecting someone who can easily rip my hand with a move I didn’t even see. Even with two Legendary Monster unison form, it wasn’t enough to protect my arm. I was careless.

Zeth is heading towards my way and he doesn’t look happy with my decision.

“Are you mocking us by letting kids fight her?” Grabbing my shoulder like that, he’s serious. I can understand that he wants to end this madness as soon as possible but we have to rest. Akko can’t fight with almost drained mana.

I tapped his hand away and looked him in the eye.

“I know and I have a plan so if you have something to stop someone like her, suit yourself.” He wasn’t really happy with my answer but he knows I have a point and… to be honest, I don’t think I have a plan at all.

“… tsk.” He walked away and went to check the others. I know how he feels right now but they are all we’ve got. If we want to win, we need to wear the masked girl out.

“MOON BEAST’S WEAPON FORM! MOONBLADE!” Leion, not bad, a Legendary Boss weapon form and it’s oozing with a dark and light element. I’m not sure what’s its passive but I can tell that if you get hit by that, it would certainly hurt.

“SEA DRAGON’S WRATH!” Now it’s a sea dragon, why are they obsessed with dragons lately. It looks like her monster soul has evolved as well. I can tell that everyone’s stronger before we started our training.

“NECROMANCER’S WRATH!” Is it just me or everyone has Legendary Monster souls?! Even Petula managed to evolve one. I can’t close my eyes with their power. I want to see all of what they can do.

SECOND LIMIT BREAK!” Chara is willing to disable her armor soul for a month in exchange for a stronger version of a limit break. I probably should get out more to get my own armor and weapons soul. She didn’t change much but I can tell that the power she has is too much to handle.

“BRIGHT EDGE’S SECOND LIMIT BREAK!” Even Zia’s breaking her own limit to fight the masked girl with all she’s got. I am not expecting them to defeat her but if they could then that would our lives easier.

“That won’t help you!” The masked girl rushed towards us! So fast!

*ZWOOOOOOSH* What?! So fast! Zia disappeared and only left a gush of wind around her!

*BAAAAAAM* I swiftly looked up upon hearing a powerful blow! Chara must be using something to order them what to do.

“What?!” The masked girl was surprised as well and it looks like Zia managed to land a hit on her barrier and with a single blow, her barrier shows cracks but not completely destroyed.

Zia’s so stronger now and I don’t think I’m even stronger than her anymore. She was a recruit before but I can tell that she was born a hero…

Zia intercepted the masked girl’s attack and before the masked girl knew what happened, she already landed a hit and now she can’t even tell where’s Zia.

*BAAAAAAM* From the back! Another solid slash to her barrier. It’s almost down!

*SCREEECH* Loud noises around the area almost ripped my ears! It’s Elle’s little dragons!

*BAAAAAM BAAAAAM* Two of her little dragons pierced through the masked girl’s barrier and finally, it broke! Damn, those dragons can move so freaking fast!

“NECROMANCER’S ENDLESS DEATH HANDS!” Long dark creepy looking hands and skulls started to sprout from the ground and swiftly swirl around and grabbed the masked girl after her barrier broke! That’s creepy, Petula! Those hands were able to reach her but her ice defense managed to- wait what?

“SEA DRAGON’S ICE MANIPULATION!”

“My ice?!” I don’t know what is happening but her ice defense stopped from protecting her and just stopped from moving! It looks like Osia managed to create ice around her already! High-level ice spells like the masked girl, I don’t think Osia can stop her but I was wrong!

*BAAAAAAAM* The creepy hands managed to grasp all over the masked girl and crashed her to the ground! Now, everyone has access to her and they can easily stop her!

“ZIA! IT’S TIME! MOONGLOW’S SECRET TECHNIQUE! ECLYPSE MOON DANCE!” They’re planning something!

Two light marks appeared from the side of the masked girl! Are they going to do combo attack together?!

*ZWOOOOSH ZWOOOSH ZWOOOSH!* They both slashed together and they moved so fast in a perfect sync that they only thing the masked girl can do is used her hands to protect her head. I can’t believe they can make her defend this way!

They moved so fast and so strong that with their last slash together, the masked girl was sent flying! She’s covered in wounds and bruises! And I thought she’s someone who can’t be defeated!

“BRIGHT EDGE! DON’T YOU GIVE UP ON ME, I AM NOT DONE YET!” She flew up after that and she flew so fast that she was able to catch up to the masked girl and now she’s about to do something!

“BRIGHT EDGE’S ARROW OF PIERCING LIGHT!”

*ZWOOOOOOSH!” She shot the arrow that only left a light trail and…

*BAAAAAAAM!* The masked girl was hit by the arrow of light and is now falling once again towards… towards Chara!

“ZOFIA’S BOOTS OF SWIFTNESS, ARMOR OF POWER AND SWORD OF ENDLESS PAIN!” Such incredible buffs and aura! She’s going all out like Zia did! She’s going for the kill!

*ZWOOOOOOSH!* She moved so fast that her boots sparked and her weapon blazed with overwhelming power that no one can even define! The power of a thousand slashes in one single strike!

Massive shock wave came from the location of the masked girl and Chara… I can’t look at them with this strong wave and am forced to look away. Whatever happened right there, I’m sure the masked girl is either killed or heavily wounded. An attack like that can even kill a Legendary Boss with just one hit. It took me a couple of seconds before I could see what happened next.

“What?! Impossible!” Chara! Her sword, it was stopped with one hand and the other one is holding the mask! No way!

*BAAAAAAM!* Before we could even react, Chara was hit directly in the stomach after crashing Chara’s sword!

*BAAAAAAM* I tried to go as fast as I could but Chara was hit in the face with her blazing fist! At that moment, she hit the ground and her armor soul transformation got canceled… what the hell!

“Chara! You’ll pay for this!” Osia jumped and slide through the ice and then summoned her Ice Dragon to attack the masked girl!

“You call that high-level ice spell?” Osia’s ice stopped from moving and-

Ice thorns were created all around her!

“SWOSWOSWOOOSH!”

“CLAAANG CLAANG!” Zia! So fast, she was able to defend Osia but her body was pierced by the ice thorns!

“Zia!” Osia grabbed Zia before she falls after those ice thorns passed right through her body!

Below the masked girl, a light mark appeared and then…

“Damn you-” Leion appeared in front of her but before she could do anything…

*BAAAAAAAM!* He was hit in the neck with her hand and in just an instant, his transformation got canceled too…

“I already know everything that you can do. Nothing can surprise or even hurt me. You almost destroyed my masked, I can say it’s not bad.” Her wounds healed… she can even heal herself. Freaking get out of here!

“Oh, hello little girl, how about you’re next?” She looked at Elle who’s shivering… Petula just stood in front of Elle and hugged her to protect her.

*ZWOOOOOSH!* She’s not letting them go… She rushed ahead of them and now going to attack both Petula and Elle! I have no choice…

*BZZZZZZZT*

“Finally, you’re serious.” I looked at her after she almost killed them. I was able to reach her in time and held her hand.

“I think that’s enough. Petula, get Elle and others to a safe place. This place will be in ruins.” Petula and the others moved away far. I don’t want them to be caught by anything that could hurt them.

“How are you going to stop me with just one hand? I will kill your friends right now and I don’t think you can stop- my… my hand…” She panicked and pulled her hand as soon as possible.

“I didn’t realize you can do it in a short period of time. This is a miscalculation on my part.” I don’t know what she’s talking about but after all this time, I think I pretty much need to teach her a lesson.

“Now now, don’t be stingy. I know we’re just new friends but at least lend me a hand here…”

“And who on earth are you talking to now?” She asked…

“You’ll meet him soon…” I held my arm and just like that, my arm is back like it wasn’t cut off.

“Now, that explains it.” She’s mumbling to herself again. Now, It’s time.
