Ugh… how long was I out? And what the hell are these things in my body…

“Hello, you’ve been out for almost a year now…” A girl wearing nurse outfit, am I in some kind of wrong anime or something?

“I doubt that but thank you.” I looked at my phone and it seems like I’ve been out for more than a week. Holy Moses, I survived… Damn, feels like I can’t move at all. My body feels so heavy and-

“What’s this?” The girl handed me something, looks like water to me and a capsule.

“It will replenish your strength. Miss Mari is preparing for lunch and she’s waiting. I will leave you for now while you get ready. If you need help, please don’t hesitate to ask.” I need you to save me from my sister’s cooking but I guess I can’t ask her to do that. She walks away after saying that. There goes my savior.

The capsule really helped. I was able to walk straight and managed to get ready. It only took me a couple of minutes before going out of my room. I looked around and everyone’s pretty busy. Heading straight to the kitchen, I can smell the food and it smells nice.

“Bro, take your sit for now while we watch our parents fight.” Mari looks better than before. I can tell she enjoys her time with our parents. I looked closely at the screen and the fight is… what the hell is going on?

“I know, I haven’t seen something like that either. They’re… on a different level like they’ve been playing the game for years now. There’s no way a player can achieve something like that even if you play 24/7.” Mari’s right. Are they still inside the same game where I just logged out?

“I know, right? This only means that they’ve been playing the game before they release the game or they’ve got boosted or something like that. Even with my leveling methods, I can’t reach the same level as them. My party wasn’t even able to defeat her. Well, all NLO players couldn’t defeat her. What did I miss?” I can’t see properly due to the darkness. Dad must have used Shade’s ability.

“To be honest, I’m not really sure anymore. All I can think about right now is cooking. So please, I’m focusing here. I don’t want Mom and Dad to hate my cooking.” Last time wasn’t bad. ICE AND FLAME GOD’S UNISON!” She was the first one who was able to unlock the Flame and Ice Gods and only one person can obtain a God Monster soul. Sucks for me for not beating her into it. The Flame it releases has the power to devour everything with its firepower alone.

“BRIGHT EDGE’S ENDLESS LIMIT BREAK! I would love to see you try.” That’s better, babe. Last Limit Break of Bright Edge, she was able to master her weapon form that it couldn’t break anymore. Her aura’s too powerful! Bright Edge grants raw power and light elements giving her the strength, agility and pretty much the ability to fight even Gods.
