Nightmare Fantasy Online - Chapter 47
Dungeon Conquest Thread @7
1: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
WELCOME, to the thread where we brave through the mysteries surrounding the “dens of evils”, the DUNGEONS!
Trolls will be faced with the same fate as a poor Dungeon monster who meets a capital knight.
->950 you know what to do.
…
88: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
IMPOSSIBLE!!
89: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
The management hates the players…
90: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
DUNGEONS = HELL!!
91: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->90 Truth.
92: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Tons of E-rank monsters aren’t that bad. Tons of SMART E-rankers is not!
93: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Are the Dungeons post-game material or something?
94: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->92 Don’t forget the home-field advantage.
95: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->93 The game’s just started!
96: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->93 It’s a Terra Sol AS game. No wonder.
97: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->94 Never been more true than the place we tried to challenge. And with “tried”, I mean “TRIED!!”. And I’m tired…
98: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->96 Again, truth.
99: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->97 What happened?
100: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->99 We went to a place called the “Darkland Plains” to challenge a Dungeon there.
101: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->100 Whoa, the Darklands!? Those empty wastelands!?
102: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->97 That’s the worst joke ever…
103: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->100 Rather than the Dungeon, that you could reach the Darklands so fast is more impressive.
104: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->103 We were part of the “mapping teams” that were trying to document all the outer regions during the game’s first weeks. We had already recorded a spawning point in a village close by.
105: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->104 Props.
106: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->104 Wow, hard work does reward you sometimes…
107: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Was it the strange castle built of concrete, the one filled with big spiders? The Dungeon in the Darklands, I mean.
108: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->107 ??? No, it was a castle, but it was filled with demon-type monsters. Strange ones at that.
109: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->107 We got another hard worker here?! Props!
110: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->108 More details, please.
->109 Thank you.
111: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->110 Okay, I’m going to list down what we saw there. Give me a sec.
112: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->111 Great!
113: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->111 Make it worthwhile.
114: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->113 Who do you think you are?
115: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->114 A nobody.
116: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
And you still act so arrogantly!?
117: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Done!
First, the Dungeon is located in the Darkland Plains. There’s quite a distance to it from the nearest village.
It looks like a huge, dark castle on the outside, and the inside matches it to a certain degree. The walls are mostly black, and purple carpets are placed in the middle of the corridors.
However, parts of the walls look like they’re from the inside of a giant clock. Golden gears that move around all the time. We can’t touch them either due to a barrier protecting them.
The Dungeon is decorated with various pieces of art. But they don’t seem to have any value, nor can we take them with us. They do look possible to break, but we didn’t try so as it felt like a big waste.
Lighting consists of purplish crystals that give good lighting, but it also creates extremely dark areas due to how they are placed.
As for the monsters, they are demon-types as I mentioned before. Spirit-like demons, Imps, and floating eyeball-like demons.
We first encountered such monsters, probably G-ranks, and wiped the floor with them.
When we got further into the Dungeon, however, we were the ones used to wipe the floor with. Before we noticed, our scout-acting Beastkin got his nose made useless from a smoke bomb of some sort, then when we tried to chase the culprit, we were ambushed and killed.
The monsters include a demon dressed like an acrobatic clown that’s wearing a mask, a “fluffy”-looking ogre-ish demon, a bigger eyeball than before with additional tentacles, and a literal living shadow. The last one even triggered a trap on purpose and used it as a weapon.
One of our members, the Beastkin I mentioned before, managed to escape while the rest of us was a lost cause. On his way, he discovered a treasure chest filled with a bunch of Crystal Roses, the rumored treasures. After escaping the Dungeon, he logged out and logged in again to regroup with the rest of us.
The end.
118: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
What the…
119: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
It’s sorta underwhelming, but…
120: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
It feels like the demon king’s castle…
121: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Demons and traps everywhere…
122: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->120 Or at least the first of the four heavenly kings.
123: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
So…, what’s the verdict? Should we leave this place be?
124: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
NO WAY! Crystal Roses alone are worth several Iron-class weapons! We just need to prepare ourselves better!!
125: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
It would be easier if the traveling distance from the nearest login point was shorter…
126: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
True.
127: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Yes.
128: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->124-125 Both have a good point.
129: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->125 Maybe that’s what the “frontier expansion quest” that can be started in the capital of Umbral is about?
130: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->129 OH! Good point!
131: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
I’d completely forgotten about that quest!
132: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
Huh? What are you talking about?
133: Unknown Dungeon Crawler
->132 Go to Umbral and ask the government officer NPCs about it. It’s something you wouldn’t believe would be possible in other games.
…
Tamers Thread @3
1: Unknown Tamer
This is a thread where tamers can come together and discuss their partners, sweethearts, or meatshields. Whatever you wanna call them.
Trolls (non-tamed) are not allowed here~.
->950 start the next thread.
…
775: Unknown Tamer
Still not many of us…
776: Unknown Tamer
Taming is not a well-known playing style after all…
777: Unknown Tamer
Ehm…, can I ask of something?
778: Unknown Tamer
Hmm? A newbie?
779: Unknown Tamer
->777 WELCOME! Ask away.
780: Unknown Tamer
Okay…, what can you “tame”? I’m a complete newbie in this field.
781: Unknown Tamer
No prob. We all are~.
782: Unknown Tamer
->780 With the General skill [Taming], you can tame any creature the system recognizes as a “monster”. NPCs are out of the question. Also, it seems that Dungeon monsters are not possible to tame.
783: Unknown Tamer
Huh, you don’t say… And if you want to tame more?
784: Unknown Tamer
Then you’ll need a tamer-type class. Just tame a monster, clear the other requirements, and you can get a tamer-type class that lets you tame multiple creatures of the same genus as the one you’ve already tamed. When you get one of these classes, [Taming] will be replaced with a taming-type skill unique to that class.
Important, or maybe not, note: the skill level of the new skill is the same as [Taming]. It’s not an evolution of the skill, but a replacement.
785: Unknown Tamer
Continuing, these are the tamer-type classes currently discovered:
Beast Tamer: need to tame a beast-type monster. You can tame beast-type monsters.
Bird tamer: need to tame a bird-type monster. You can tame birds with this one.
Insect Catcher: need to tame an insect-type monster. You can tame insect-type monsters.
Spectermancer: need to tame an undead-type monster. This class “creates” undead by absorbing corpses and creating “blueprints” for the undead. The undead you tamed will “possess” the new bodies you make for it, even if it’s multiple ones.
Doll Dancer: need to tame a doll-type monster. You can make new dolls and let the “spirit” of the first one be used to control the rest.
And there are some more, but people have just read about them or heard some hearsay from the inhabitants/NPCs.
786: Unknown Tamer
->785 Cool! Thanks. Maybe I should become a Spectermancer?
787: Unknown Tamer
The sad thing is: only those with either the Death element- or the Undead element Title-skills can become a Spectermancer. The undead players down below have figured that out.
788: Unknown Tamer
Tch. I wanted an undead army…
789: Unknown Tamer
Another piece of bad news is that you can only have 1 monster follower with you at the same time.
790: Unknown Tamer
WHAAAAT!?!? Then what’s the point!?
791: Unknown Tamer
You can, however, fill the empty slots in a party you’re in with summons. Oh, and all taming-type skills let you summon any tamed monsters if you don’t have them at hand. They’re normally staying in your Player Room.
792: Unknown Tamer
Oh, then you can have 6 monsters out at once? Since a party can have at most 6 people in it, plus the “free slot”?
793: Unknown Tamer
->792 Yup. Sorta strange that even parties are taken care of with skills. Why’s the [Party] skill something you need to be an adventurer to get?
794: Unknown Tamer
Guys! The demon princess has a newly discovered tamer-type class!!
795: Unknown Tamer
->793 Think it’s because adventurers are supposed to adventure in parties, no?
796: Unknown Tamer
->794 Wait, that princess? The rank-9 from the event? What class!?
797: Unknown Tamer
Calm down. The princess must have “Demon Caller”. It’s been written about in books in various libraries that are located in the Umbral region.
798: Unknown Tamer
->797 Ah, my bad.
799: Unknown Tamer
That’s not the only thing that’s old news. The princess having such a class is already known. Just look at her dedicated thread.
800: Unknown Tamer
…she has a dedicated thread???
801: Unknown Tamer
Her fans have made one, at least. Not sure if I envy her…

The Demon Princess Fanclub Thread @15
1: (Future) Servant of the Princess
This is a personal thread about the player “Demon Princess” Garami.
The Princess may read this thread herself, so be careful what you post here.
As for anything that’s simply weird, remember that (big brother) the management also watches.
About the Demon Princess:
Her real player name is Garami, but after a certain event during the first NFO event, she has gained the unofficial nickname “Demon Princess”.
Her current race is Dark Udug, according to reliable sources from the demon thread. It is a Demon-type Extra Race, but how she obtained it is a mystery.
She is using a rare sort of equipment including leather armor, a cloak, a mask, a dagger, and various magic items. However, they seem to be “only” rare and not unique items.
As mentioned, her “seemingly” weapon of choice is the dagger, but no one has seen her fight for real yet, so it is uncertain as of now.
She seems to possess abilities to weaken strong enemies from a long distance, which has been confirmed as she weakened the raid boss of the first event from across a whole area.
The reason for her popularity is her “adult” beauty for one, even if she is wearing a mask all the time.
The Princess is also the first person to have conquered a Dungeon and even become an owner of one.
That’s it for now!
->950, Be a loyal servant to the Princess and start the next thread.
…
663: (Future) Servant of the Princess
Hey, we mustn’t forget to add “She is also the one who discovered the info about Element Keystones” when lucky guy 950 makes the next thread.

->677 Throw him to the beasts!!
687: (Future) Servant of the Princess

688: (Future) Servant of the Princess
The Princess is trying to get a new servant.
689: (Future) Servant of the Princess
