Noim Connected Worlds - Chapter 23 Orathoria
“But what if everyone played a role? They couldn’t possibly burn off themselves right?” *Chuckle*
“That is why everyone has to play their role…”
“And by everyone, I literally mean everyone.”
“…”
Complete silence filled the air as soon as Edizon finished his last sentence. The two ladies felt tremmors in their hearts as goosebumps crawled through their skin. They suddenly felt a terrible itch as a barrage of thoughts popped out of their heads…
‘How could such a scheming person even exist in this world?’
‘Why dont you be a politician if you’re this great at scheming?’
‘Should I even trust this person? But still he doesn’t look like a bad guy…’
‘So this kind of person called me adorable… I should’ve known…’
After a long period of contemplation William finally broke the silence.
“But still, that doesn’t answer what is the name of the organization gonna be?”
“Can’t you be a bit more specific? What is the point of all of this? Why do I feel that there’s something more into it?” Isabella finally couldn’t take it anymore and blurted out her thoughts. She of all people didn’t like to be played by.
Alice’s palms was sweating as she sat there frozen. She didn’t want to waste the opportunity after finding such good companions. She clutched her hand as she silently prayed for Isabella’s patience to hold on.
“You have to tell us. You have to tell what role is this organization gonna play.”
Edizon only smiled as the three awaited for an answer.
“…” After being ignored by two times, Isabella’s temper finally couldn’t hold on. She bit her lip as frustration ran down all over her body. Just when she was about to stand up and walk away…
“You’ve already decided the name, didn’t you?” William finally noticed the meaning behind Edizon’s smile as he asked a question to confirm his thoughts.
“…”
Edizon stood up and gave everyone a warm and gentle gaze to reassure them. He then took a deep breath as he prepared himself for the finale of his presentation.
Emotions ran through the two ladies as they continued to listen to Edizon’s speech. Chills ran down through the both of their spines as they felt an excitement they never felt before…
“An organization that controls the currents and the direction the river flows.”
“An organization that decides the right and wrong. An organization that controls everything in the background…”
“An organization that everyone believes in, even if they don’t want to admit it themselves.”
“To be precise, an organization that will bend the minds and hearts of everyone.”
Isabella finally got Edizon’s message as she took a deepbreath and blurted out the answer herself…
“Orathoria…”
