Noob Player - Chapter 111
“Hehe, it’s time for my revenge.” Shen let out a chuckle as he gazed at the giant chicken. He did not attack the chicken immediately as he thought of a plan. Even though he had gotten a lot stronger compared to the past when the chicken easily killed him, he did not lower his guard.
The chicken was not aware that someone spied on it. It was scraping the ground, and then it found something. It used the beak and pulled a big worm. Not just big, it was long too. The chicken ate the worm as if it was spaghetti. It slurped the long worm until the worm disappeared into its mouth.
“Chicken is still chicken, they still eat the worm, but not a normal worm, of course,” Shen muttered in a low voice as he formulated a plan in his head. He would not confront the chicken head-on. It was still a level 30 monster, not a low-level mob.
Shen walked around to the back of the chicken. He could actually use [Frozen Spear] to stun the chicken. However, he could only use [Frozen Spear] one time. He wanted to save the skill for the emergency.
The chicken continued searching for the worm, and he was already at the back of the chicken, seven meters away. Shen was hiding behind the tree and peeked at the chicken. He knew that what he was doing was too cowardly, but he did not care.
Shen took out the Wrath Club. Thanks to the training with his Master. He was a little bit used to his missing arm. It was still weird, but he could handle it after the sparring against Yosu.
[Void Step]
Shen started it with a burst of movement. The chicken seemed to notice his presence, but it was too late. He was right behind the chicken and the Wrath Club was on the way to reach the chicken’s head. Before the chicken could turn around, the Wrath Club hit the chicken’s back of the head.
Void Critical!

It was lucky that his first strike triggered a critical. The chicken fell forward from the impact. Shen will not miss this golden chance as he took a big step forward and landed a continuous blow with his Wrath Club.

Shen hit the head twice, and he hit the body thrice. He learned something from the first wave of the attack. Hitting the Chicken’s head was a critical strike, and the body was not. Three hits on the head and three of them were critical strikes.
After landing the blow, he then looked at the chicken’s health bar. His eyes widened in surprise when the chicken’s health bar was reduced to half.
“I deal around 2200 Damage, that means the chicken’s hp is around four thousand. This is easy. I just need to land ten normal strikes, or I can kill it with four critical strikes.” The fact that he could reduce the chicken’s hp by half so quickly boosted his confidence in facing the chicken head-on.
“No more sneak attack, come at me!” Shen grinned and motioned the chicken to come over. The chicken rushed toward him, and then he realized something. The chicken was not as fast as it was to be. He could see clearly the chicken movement with his eyes.
Instead of waiting for the chicken to come over, Shen rushed forward as well. The chicken jumped off, but Shen used his skill, [Void Thrust]. He thrust the club toward the chicken’s chest.
Crack!
The sound was so realistic. From the voice, he broke the chicken’s bone with his club. The chicken flung backward after that and crashed into the tree.

Shen dealt 623 damage with his [Void Thrust]. That meant he only needed to deal another 1400 damage to kill the chicken. That just got Shen even more excited. He could kill the chicken finally.
Despite the excitement, he remained cautious. Shen did not chase for the chicken but stayed still. [Void Step] was wearing off. He could not be careless by blindly chasing after the chicken. He waited for the chicken, and when he saw the chicken was trying to stand up. It took a great deal of effort for the chicken to stand up.
“Huh? What happens? Don’t tell me it’s related to the cracked bone?” Shen was confused about the situation. If that was what happened to the chicken, he just discovered a new game mechanic. Breaking the bone might affect the monster or even the player’s movement.
Then he saw something else. He noticed the floating damage above the chicken’s head.

He did not hit the chicken, meaning it was bleeding status. “Internal Bleeding!?” He exclaimed in shock. Who would expect there would be an internal bleeding status in this game?
Shen did not waste his time. He rushed over when the chicken fell off again. It could no longer stand, and he would not watch the chicken suffering like that. This was his vengeance, but he did not enjoy torturing the chicken.
The black chicken truly could no longer stand up, even with Shen near to it. Shen finished the chicken by landing three hits on the head.

His conjecture about the critical strike was true. If he landed the hit on the head, he would trigger the critical strike. “Is the head the chicken’s weakness?” There was another possibility, the weak spot. It was general knowledge that landing a hit on a weak spot would trigger the critical strike.
[You have killed T-Bone Rooster!]
[You gained 17600 Experiences!]
When he heard the notification, Shen let out a sigh. It would take forever to level up if he kept hunting the chicken. However, it was not like he had another choice. He might die if he hunted the stronger monster. T-Bone Rooster was the safest choice.
“It’s not the time to whine, let’s continue the hunt instead of whining like a baby.” Shen continued his hunting. He stored the first chicken into his inventory and looked for more chicken.
After the first kill, Shen was confident in facing the T-Bone Rooster. That was a weird name, but he cared little about the name. Maybe it really had a T-shaped bone in its body.
The second chicken was a lot easier even though he did not launch the sneak attack. He killed the chicken after less than two minutes of the fight. He just needed to wait for his [Void Thrust]’s cooldown. As long as he hit the rooster on the chest with [Void Thrust], it was done for.
“Huhu, the second chicken.” Shen grinned happily as he stored the second chicken. If this continued, they would have many chickens and more varieties with their food.
Shen continued with his hunting, and when he noticed the five stacks of T-Bone Roosters. He decided to go back to the village, even with many supplies. The T-Bone Rooster spawned around the village, so he was close to the village.
When he returned to the village, no one was around. He did not see Yue, Dale, and Ming. He still could hear the clanking sound from Wealthy Guy’s house. Even the new member, Liu Zhong was not around.
He went directly toward ZhenZhen’s house and knocked on the wall. “ZhenZhen! I have something for you!”
“Coming! Coming! Coming!” He heard the reply from inside the house. ZhenZhen wiped the sweat on her forehead. “What’s up, Shen? You return earlier than usual.”
“I am going to log off and grab lunch. While at it, I am going to drop you this.” He then took out the five stacks of the T-Bone Rooster.
ZhenZhen’s eyes shone brightly with the new ingredient in front of her. She came over and inspected the chicken. But then, a frown formed on his forehead. She seemed to be displeased with the goods.
“What’s wrong? Did I handle them too rough?” He thought he was ruining the chicken with his [Void Thrust].
“Now, even though I love cooking with the exotic ingredients. It’s gross to see a chicken with two small stick hands like this.” ZhenZhen moved the small hands. It was like T-rex’s hand. The hand was too small for any use.
“You should complain with the developer instead. It’s not me who designed them.” Shen shook his head and waved his hand as he bid his farewell. “Then I am going off. See you later.”
“Bye Bye, have a good lunch! Don’t eat junk food, it’s not good for your body!” ZhenZhen yelled at Shen.

While everyone was busy with what they were doing, a figure spawned on the spawn spot of the village. The figure had newbie clothes on him. He looked around in confusion.
“Where is this? Why am I respawning in this place? Is the game bugged?” A disgruntled voice flowed out of his mouth. “This billion dollars game project. I can’t believe there’s a bug. They even sell the gaming pod at an unreasonable price, forty million? This is not worth forty million!”
The man was about to log off and filed a complaint to the company until a voice called him.
“Doctor Lu?” Shen, who just logged in and came out of the house, noticed there was someone in the spawn spot. He felt the face was familiar, and upon closer look, he recognized the face.
Doctor Lu Weiyan, the doctor who was in charge of his knee surgery, and the Doctor who was in charge of his rehabilitation as well. He was not expecting to meet Doctor Lu in the game.
Doctor Lu looked toward the voice. “Yes? Do you know? Are you my patient?”
