Not A Cultivator - Chapter 133
“First Young Master…”
“You’re here too…”
“What are you doing here?”
The three men greeted Feng Zhi Yan. Their smile contained puzzled expression as their eyes averted from each other to hide their shame. There was the highest-level warning issued by the Clan Lord, but it was clear that the four men defied the order.
“Relax a bit…” Feng Zhi Yan said. “I’m here for the same reason as you three. To get stronger! You can’t expect just for Feng Ao Xiu to take all the glory. Am I right?”
“First Young Master is right.” One of the guards nodded. While clenching his fist, he said with a face full of determination. “I have dreams and high expectation. When given the option to become a tiger or stay as a cat, I choose the former, even if it means I have to defy the heavens.”
“Me too…” The other guards said, “No matter what you think about, isn’t this a conspiracy by the Clan Lord and Second Young Master? They want to hog Master Jun all by themselves, that’s why they issued the warning.”
“I’m starting to regret this. Maybe this is a bad idea after all…” said the servant with a scared expression, “It is still defying the order nevertheless. What if we get caught? Defying the highest-level warning could be punishable by death!”
[Ugh… Scaredy cat.] Feng Zhi Yan stared intensely at the servant. He can’t have the servant turn his back and surrender just like that. He doesn’t have any choice but to convince him.
“It’s too late now, we are all on the same boat!” Feng Zhi Yan said confidently. “As long as I’m here the chance of we’re getting caught will be close to zero per cent. With my authority and intellect, we can cover each other up. All I need is your words, are you on with me?”
The servant nodded as his smile began to brighten. With Feng Zhi Yan’s words, he felt an enormous amount of relief on his back.
Feng Zhi Yan smiled sinisterly, as he looked around convinced that everything’s going as plan. His body shook in excitement as his eyes fixed on the door for Master Jun to come back and started the training soon. As he waited, he could not help but overheard the two guards gossiping with each other.
“Hey, have you heard about the Dong Clan and Ling Clan?”
“Huh, what happened?”
“Apparently, the Dong Clan lost Dong Xue, and the Ling Clan lost Ling Xun.”
“Really? Aren’t Dong Xue and Ling Xun both the future Clan Lord of the respective clan? I know the two clans were mortal enemies. But, have their hatred against each other reach the boiling point that they kill each other successors?”
“You got it all wrong. Both indeed hate each other, but the perpetrator this time is different. Rumours said Dong Xue cursed by a Blood Witch. Meanwhile, Ling Xun was dragged to hell by an Angel of Death.”
“What kind of monsters are Blood Witch and Angel of Death!? Just hearing these names makes me shiver. So how these monsters kill their targets?”
“You got it wrong again. The Blood Witch and Angel of Death were responsible for the deaths, but they did not kill Dong Xue and Ling Xun. In fact, they were killed in the hands of their own father.”
“Huh!?”
“Rumours has it that the Blood Witch put a curse on Dong Xue, and he has to suffer every night. Unable to put an end to his suffering, the Clan Lord has no choice but to kill his own son. On the other hands, the Angel of Death has dragged Ling Xun to hell. He has to go through painful torture every night. The Ling Clan was unable to bring him back, so the Clan Lord kill him with his own hands to end his suffering.”
“Wow… I don’t know what to say?”
“Ah! There’s something else I haven’t told you!”
“What is it?”
“It was unconfirmed, but theory suggests that Blood Witch and Angel of Death is the same person! Moreover, they said it was a woman.”
“F*ck! That is so scary! If we ever meet that woman, we better run away as fast as we can!”
“You just have to watch out for the name… Ummm… What is her name? Ju Mi… Ju Ni… Ju Yin… Well. something along those lines.”
“Haha… It’s all right. It’s not like we have something to do with the Blood Witch or Angel of Death anyway.”
“Hahaa… You’re right!”
“Hahaaa…”
“Hahahaa…”
[Hmmm… A woman called the Blood Witch and Angel of Death. What an interesting supernatural phenomenon!] Feng Zhi Yan thought while rubbing his chin. [Maybe I should find this woman and used her against Feng Ao Xiu…]
The door opened, and Jun Yin Ying entered while carrying twenty large swords. Then, she said, “Everyone, it’s time for your training!”
The four disciples get up from their chairs in excitement.
“Master Jun. None of us has reached the Iron Mortal Realm yet.” the servant said as only people from Iron Mortal Realm could fully utilise their weapon.
“It’s all right!” said Jun Yin Ying. “Your cultivation level does not matter.”
If Master Jun said so, then there’s no more question. But, a sword training on their first day, how could they not get excited?
“Ah… There are too many swords! There’s only four of us here!” said a guard.
“That’s right, even if Master Jun is included. What’s the other fifteen for?” said the other guard.
“You fool!” said Feng Zhi Yan. “Obviously we’re going to learn the four-swords style!”
Hearing Feng Zhi Yan’s words, the other disciples were surprised. There was once a sword technique called the four-swords style that only appeared in a legend. By putting a sword on each limb, it said you could fly and cut the heaven in half.
They could not believe it, but Feng Zhi Yan’s calculation makes sense. Four swords each on four disciples plus the Jun Yin Ying’s, for example, make it twenty.
As the disciples getting more and more excited, Jun Yin Ying tilted her head. “Ehhh… You’re not learning four-swords style… I don’t even know what that is?”
“Huh? Then, how many swords are we using?”
“Ehh… You’re not using any.”
“Huh… Then, what are those for?” Feng Zhi Yan said as he pointed at the pile of swords on Jun Yin Ying’s hands.
“Oh… These,” Jun Yin Ying smiled. “I will use all twenty myself! Each one of you will be stabbed by five swords!”
“…”
“…”
“…”
