Now Where Am I? - Chapter 4

Man: “Are you okay, Alie. Is the child okay.”

She just responded. Too tired to even talk then the man took me his arms. Yes, he was my father. He was handsome too, but all the snot over his face made me feel disgusted so I just closed my eyes. Then the nurse took me and shifted me to crib beside my mother. I just slept there the whole time. Next time I opened my eyes I was somewhere else. Though I could only see maximum 2 meters ahead of me but the feeling that place game me was different. So, I thought I was in my house.

I had nothing else to do so I checked my inventory to my surprise there were 2 things inside it. First there was a letter and the second thing was a bulk of something when I inspected it a vein popped out on my head. Imagine a vein popping on a two-day old baby. It was a whole fucking stock of booze tightly pack so no one sneak a single bottle out of it. After calming down, I opened the letter and the following was written in it.

‘Hahahaha, child I think you have reached to your new world without any problem. I hope you will enjoy your life there and enjoy it to the end and I will watch over you so you don’t have to worry about anything.’

For some time I thought that the old man was not that bad but the latter part of the letter was made me take my words back. The latter contents were,

‘I will watch over you can’t let my employee just do it’s thing and one more thing when delivering don’t forget to take their signature on the receipt. Okay then see you again at the time of new delivery’

A new vein popped on my head.

Kyle: “You asshole, how I forgot about that dumbass nature of yours.”

All that came out of my mouth was some random squeaks nothing else.

{Time skip 6 years}

I was born in July 4th, 1918. I share the same birthday age Captain America. I had peculiar white hair like my mother with the same blue eyes and pale jade white skin tone but I like a small tanned body so I will do something about it. Today is my 6th birthday. I am in my bed waiting for my parents to wake me up. I heard knock on my door.

Mom: “Happy Birthday!!!, Kyle. Now get up, everybody is waiting for you in the living room.”

Kyle: “Thank you, Mom. Coming in five.”

When I went down my parents were sitting on the couch. I went there and greeted everyone they wished me and gave me there presents. I was really happy. I got loving parents. My grandparents were also very loving. Though I haven’t met them much but I always loved them. They came today to celebrate my bithday. My grandfather was a war veteran and always told me stories about him and his peers fighting in world war. I also told them that I will also become a soldier. How can I forget Captain America that’s the main reason I thought of joining army so that I can copy his skill. He was living in Brooklyn which is just past here. Yes, I am currently living in Queens the home town of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. I haven’t copied any skill until now but today I will try to copy some skills from my grandfather. So, I was just waiting for the party to finish and I can copy the skills.

After the party was over, I came to my grandfather to listen to his stories that was my cover to be near him and so I can copy his skills.

While listening to the story of how he fought in WWI I was waiting for the downloads to finish. After the estimated time I heard a DING!! In my head and looked at the screen. There was a single screen present there only showing single line of text.

I thought of fusing them right here but what if I faint or it pain during fusion so I just excused myself from there.

Kyle: (Yawning) “Sorry granddad but I am feeling little tired right now. I feel asleep so can we continue this story another time.”

He agreed and I hurriedly went to my room. Locked it from the inside and laid down on my bed and started the fusion.

‘System initiate fusion.’

Suddenly something started going inside my mind and I felt like I have been doing HH combat for years. For the endurance it did nothing but my body started sweating like I have been running miles in a day. My body fat melted down and muscles took its place. It was not like massive bulk of muscle but lean and compact muscle which packed a force inside it.

After sometime I checked my status. There were not so many changes but a little increase in the skills.

There was a 0% near the new skill which I have to practice it a little bit and I will get mastery in it. I then moved to the companion section and I haven’t met my companion yet. So, I asked system ‘System, how will I meet my companion?’

I was so exited to meet my companion but was very tired to do it right now so I just went to sleep. I will summon her tomorrow.
