Npc Into Player: Let’s Wreck This Game - Chapter 293: The Shocked Sharel
‘Screw you evil boy!’ yet she only sent this curse to him in reply, ‘I’ll do anything but don’t cancel that contract. We already invested many resources to help and you can’t repay our kindness with such rudeness!’
‘It was you who wanted to ditch me here,’ Bloom’s smile was already from ear to ear, ‘so will you go out with me?’
‘I will be a crazy boy!’
‘And you boss?’
‘This…’ she paused, ‘she already has a boyfriend.’
‘I doubt that,’ Bloom laughed before writing again, ‘I bet she even hates men.’
‘H- How do you know that?’
‘She is your boss,’ he shrugged before sending again, ‘all bosses are supposed to be scary with devious personnel.’
‘You just threw it without even having a clue about anything?’ She seemed surprised by this.
‘You can consider me… just lucky.’
‘I bet you are a fierce gambler,’ she sent, ‘she hates men and only dating girls for now.’
‘Oh, you are her girlfriend then?’
‘If I said yes, would you drop that date of yours?’
‘No way,’ he laughed, ‘I know you are totally a man.’
‘Screw you.’
‘Hahaha.’
‘Alright alright, back to business now… you won’t cancel the contract, right?’
‘As long as you two will come out with me then it’s a go.’
‘I told you already she isn’t with men.’
‘It’s just for dinner,’ he said while enjoying this funny situation, ‘I won’t ask you to sleep with me.’
‘Screw you.’
‘Hahaha.’
He was already almost at the surface.
‘How about things at your end?’ she suddenly asked, ‘those guards are now searching crazily for you in the entire town like a monster tide.’
‘I love monster tide so much,’ he kept joking and she seemed to be already on the edge of her seat.
‘Can’t you just drop this bizarre sense of humor of yours now and talk a bit more seriously here?’
‘Alright, tell me what you want to know.’
‘Where are you? Have you gotten the second vault content or not? Do you have any enemies around?’
He turned around while getting out of the tunnel opening. ‘I’m safe, no enemies around.’
‘And… WHERE ARE YOU NOW?!!!’
He laughed over her capitalized words before saying: ‘Guess.’
‘F*ck you!’
‘Just guess!’
‘I’m not playing this game with you,’ she sent, ‘BASTARD WE ARE NOT IN THE TIME TO PLAY GAMES NOW!!!’
He laughed again before closing the tunnel opening and glancing around the small study room that was strangely identical to the one in the other building. ‘I’m in the barn.’
‘B- Barn! What do you take me for? A fool!!!’
‘I’m really there right now,’ he calmly sent.
‘How can this even be possible? The place was turned upside down with hundreds of guards minutes ago before they left and started to look everywhere else.’
‘I’m just… quite resourceful,’ he didn’t say anymore about how he did it, ‘now how will you help me to run away? We have little time left for that bastard to be revived again and hunt us down.’
‘This… sigh, let me go and check with my boss then.’
He closed the chat and knew her boss must have been on her wits end during the past minutes. “They deserved this… after all they tried to take advantage of me,” he shook his head while feeling zero regret over what they just experienced.
He didn’t depend on them to help him escape as he opened his map and started checking the grand scene of the town. “Sigh, it’s just bad that the map can’t show me the places of these guards outside the mansion.”
The palace and the space around was now void of any red dot at all. That meant they were now searching for him like mad dogs all over the town.
Yet he couldn’t see them.
“Should I ask for a map from her then?” he thought before adding, “it would be great to play the game with such a highly detailed map.”
Bloom didn’t hurry to leave. At least he wasn’t too sure to be seen by someone here.
“Hold on a second,” he suddenly paused in his track of thoughts, “why not turn again into someone else?”
His eyes shone brighter as his expression turned evil. “That would be best as they were looking for my face. Besides…”
He paused as the mayor was the one to be resurrected but not his annoying butler. That made him laugh while using the lizard tattoo disguise skill once again after cancelling his current disguise.
“Let it be… Gerard the fool,” he selected the name of his new character before getting out of the barn, walking calmly and confidently out of the mansion’s main gate.
There was no one there as all the guards were fervently looking for him. He calmly walked and headed towards the main gate directly without any hesitation.
“I’ve… less than fifteen minutes and that jerk would be revived,” he glanced at the clock again while he was following the path on the map to the main gate.
“I’m curious what he would do when he turned the entire town upside down and couldn’t find me.”
This thought made Bloom laugh while getting nearer to the main gate.
“Stop right there!”
Yet before he could finish his laughs, a loud shout came from his back while a group of armed guards were running after him.
He calmly stopped while waiting for them to arrive. “Who are you? And what are you doing here?” one of the guards asked in a harsh tone.
“I’m Gerard,” Bloom calmly said, “and I’m here… to play,” he said in a weird tone while glancing at that guard as if he was looking at a dumb person.
“You are a player, right?” the guard asked again.
“Indeed, what’s wrong about being one?”
“All players are ordered to be detained,” another guard said in a vicious tone after exchanging glances with other guards around, “it’s your bad luck to be here at this moment.”
