Npc Into Player: Let’s Wreck This Game - Chapter 322: Unexpected Meeting
Bloom was fixed on not letting his trophy be missed by his fear or urgent desire to escape. “The town is currently not under any protection,” he muttered while his greedy nature escalated to a new level.
“However…” he was worried about other mayors that the mayor summoned. “It’s better not to get delayed here anymore.”
As he reached the place of that fallen mayor, his scalp went numb for a few moments. “She is… very brutal,” he muttered while watching in deep shock the deep crater caused unnaturally by the skill of the angel.
“I shouldn’t get on her bad side,” he vowed to remember such a thing. “Now, let’s see what you have, rich boy.”
He leaned over the burnt down corpse that looked similar to the mayor’s. he stripped it away of any gear. “They are slightly damaged,” he checked them before putting them all inside his inventory. “Now the biggest trophy,” he finally took the ring he came here for.
And then he checked it.
“Ring of resurrection: special grade ring. For NPCs only. The NPC wearing this ring will gain a chance to revive as a player. The NPC will be in a state of weakness for an entire hour. Can be used three times a day.”
“Not for me?” Bloom was disappointed for a second, “but it can work best for her,” he stored it while knowing who will be most suited to use it. “There is another ring… what is it?”
He grabbed the second ring in the burnt hand of the mayor and checked it.
“Ring of summon: allows the user to summon one third of his lost forces during the past day. The summoned forces will be one level weaker than before and won’t be able to use all of their skills. Can be used once per day.”
“It didn’t say it’s forbidden for players,” Bloom grinned before putting the ring in his finger. “this is the gadget that bastard used to summon all those NPCs back then,” he muttered while examining the completely dark ring.
“I believe it’s also partially damaged,” he muttered, “I should find someone to fix it for me soon.”
He then turned around. “It’s a waste to leave all these fine gears lying here in the wilderness.”
Then he stripped every single NPC off his gear. After he finished he turned around and went directly towards the caravan.
“Let’s go boys,” he took back every single pet he had before putting his hand over his biggest trophy and took a ticket to Anna’s town.
Then he vanished in a flash of light before appearing in Anna’s town.
“Things look… quite gloomy here.”
As he appeared with his caravan, he got the attention of some NPCs. However he noticed their lost looks and found the atmosphere around them quite depressing.
“The fight hadn’t yet started and they were already acting like they were getting their ass kicked,” he shook his head before heading with his trophy towards Anna’s mansion.
He had no other secure place to be but there. “What will she do when she sees this?” he laughed while heading straight towards the mansion like a normal merchant; sitting on the front of the caravan and letting some horses he summoned drag it.
“You always come in the right moment, how can you do that?”
Just as he stopped in front of the gate of Anna’s mansion, Tondel stood there while gazing at him in a strange way.
“Are you now working as a merchant? Good for you, letting our lady down is something not strange for a player like you.”
“Just shut up and do your job,” Bloom sneered, “open the door gatekeeper.”
The eyes of Tondel narrowed but he said nothing as he waved to his men to open the gate.
And Bloom noticed how weird Tondel was gazing up at him at this moment.
As he went inside he felt a strange presence, something he didn’t feel right.
“Anna…” he stopped the great vault in front of the mansion’s main door before hurrying inside. “You…”
As he reached inside he found someone he was already familiar with.
“And our annoying pathetic player has arrived as well,” a sinister laugh came while the man standing all alone there laughed when seeing Bloom.
“What are you doing here… Mordon?”
“Last time I checked it was Anna, not you, the mayor of this town,” Mordon sneered, “come, I’ve something interesting to share with you.”
Bloom moved in strong steps until he stopped beside the ashen white Anna. “Speak,” Bloom said, “or do you want me to summon her to kick your ass again?”
The smile on Mordon’s face froze when he heard his words. “Players… arrogant and good for nothing but causing trouble to those living in this world,” yet he shook his head, acting like a wise man standing in front of a child.
“Just tell what you came here to say,” Bloom crossed his arms and waited.
“I’m just here to notify my sweet little Anna about my promise…”
“And?”
“In the next war… all the dark forces in the entire region will join hands to bring down this town to the ground… That’s my promise,” Mordon viciously said but Bloom didn’t feel anything from his empty threats.
“That’s nothing new,” Bloom simply said, “I didn’t expect the coward Mordon who used to hide in his filthy hole to come out and tell me what’s obvious.”
Anna turned to him and saw how calm and collected he was. She had a feeling that he was faking it, but he wasn’t.
“Acting strong without any backing… interesting player,” Mordon laughed, “I’m here to order Anna to leave the throne and abandon town. She has three days to consider, and if my armies came here and found her standing on the walls of the town then I won’t stop at anything to kill her.”
“I dare you do it,” Bloom sneered back while taking out a unique token, “I know someone who is dying to meet you again. She will thank me for meeting you twice in a day.”
“…”
