- Chapter 327: A Brutal Fight Inside The Mansion
The moment he went off the capsule he spotted at least five strangers inside his room. The door was slightly opened and the entire room ushered in deep darkness but he could vaguely make out their shapes.
And from their dark uniforms and masks he could tell they were assassins.
“Kill him!”
It was one shout that was followed by a rain of bullets. Each one of them took out a machine gun and started hitting him with all the bullets they got.
“Damn it!” but he didn’t stand there motionless, waiting for their bullets to arrive.
The moment he went out and glanced at them, he started to run. Fast, running with all the speed he got from the game that made him flash all over the place.
“Click!”
“Click!”
“Click!”
Their guns finally ran out of bullets after they created many holes in the wall of the room. That wall turned now to be like a honeycomb, and all that firing attracted more to the room.
However it was his time to act.
“My turn,” he angrily said while taking out four of his swords before muttering, “sword tornado.”
The terrifying attack from the game appeared in the real world. He couldn’t see their faces behind the masks. Even when the four swords danced in the air and created a wave of light that illuminated everything, he couldn’t tell anything from their thick black masks.
But he was pretty sure they were now stupefied, making him quite satisfied with such a kill.
“Kill him,” another wave of new assassins came through the door while one of them shouted in panic. Bloom could wait for his swords to crush everyone, but he had many questions in mind and doubts as well.
“If they are here, that means they are now killing Antoan and Liza.
So he took out two swords and used his speed to appear in the middle of his attackers. His sudden appearance was coupled with frantic shooting but none of these random bullets managed to hit their mark.
In return his two swords always hit their target, leaving behind a long trail of blood and dead corpses along the corridor leading to his room.
“He is coming,” as he reached Antoan’s room he saw him opening the lid of his capsule at this moment.
And a group of five assassins were surrounding him while ten more stood between the two.
“Screw it, dash,” as his sword attack ended a few seconds ago, he regained his four swords. So he replaced the two in hand with his two precious swords and started using their unique dash skill.
“Boom!” The next moment he appeared just at the group surrounding Antoan’s capsule while killing that assassin with his simple dash.
“Stay low,” he shouted at Antoan before dancing around using his high speed. Each wave of his sword claimed one soul of the assassins, and in less than a minute all of them lay dead at his feet.
“This…” Antoan stood up with a shocked expression on his face.
“I’ll have a word with you later,” Bloom firmly said before vanishing off the room. “Stay here and don’t get out.”
“That’s… insane!” It was the first time Antoan really saw Bloom using his game skills and gears in real life.
He was always puzzled about the way he skipped death from before, and now he got the answer he wanted.
And that made him laugh, with him standing in the middle of the dead corpses and rivers of blood running around making him look very bloody.
“She stays at the rooms in the other part of the mansion,” Bloom reminded himself of Liza’s location while creating his path with his swords. “I doubt she would be in danger.”
He knew she had the power to use the game skills in real life as him. However he wanted to be sure she was safe.
He wasn’t in love with her, but he saw her as a potential ally. Someone he randomly picked and turned out to be a hidden gem. Someone he should keep at his side to stay stronger.
“Stop him!”
Just as he reached the main lobby separating the two big parts of the mansion aside, he found a large group of assassins forming many lines of defense and waiting for him.
Bloom narrowed his eyes when he saw them. He wasn’t worried about their bullets. After all, he was now moving faster than any bullet.
And he doubted anything could catch up to him at this moment.
But what made him have such a change in face was the recognition of three individuals holding a sword, bow, and a staff.
“They can use game skills like me and her,” he reached this conclusion in a fraction of a second before realizing something else. “They aren’t the only ones here with such power.”
He had a bad premonition about that. His earlier assumption about Liza’s safety changed drastically at this moment. “She… I hope she can fend them off until I arrive.”
As he kept running forward, the entire place was filled with the sounds of guns releasing bullets at him like dropping rain.
And as he was avoiding these bullets, the other three at the back finally acted.
The swordsman moved with high speed and arrived just next to him. “Die!” that man said with a sneer before a sword was aimed at his neck.
It wasn’t such a strong attack but the arrow that the bowman released made it hard to deal with that sword.
Each place he could move to was blocked with arrows and bullets, while that swordsman kept pushing at him with his sword.
“Sword trap,” suddenly that man used a skill that seemed alien to Bloom. Just as he was stabilizing his body after evading a stab, he found the ground changed to be formed of swords.
All of them were pointing at him and he could see what was coming.
“Wind Howl!”
