- Chapter 341: An Intense Clash With A Giant!
Bloom turned to her before returning to that cloud of dust. He knew that part of his monsters were roaming the area around the mansion, securing its perimeter.
And it seemed just now some of his fights were off with that gigantic monster. “So they are the ones you spoke about, right?” Bloom didn’t move his eyes off that gigantic shadow which stood erect in the middle of the dust without moving a muscle.
“Yes, afraid now?” she said in a low tone.
“Intimidated indeed,” Bloom said before taking the first step towards the front, “but that doesn’t mean I won’t kill it.”
“Wait…” his answer paralyzed her for a few seconds before she hurriedly shouted. “You can’t fight them… They have had control over those giant things for a long time now.”
Yet no matter what she said, Bloom kept walking towards the front. “First they send assassins to ruin my home and now they send this weird monster to his doorsteps.
Bloom calmly walked under the shocked and frightened gazes of everyone around. He wasn’t seeking suicide, or overstimating himself.
On the contrary, he knew exactly his strength and how fierce he was.
In fact he only used part of his strength so far, and he wasn’t hesitating to use all of his strength to bring that monster down if he wanted.
And there was another reason behind his actions… He wanted Liza to stay voluntarily with him.
He didn’t need her to tell him that, but he already figured out how special she was when he first dueled with her at the gym in his mansion before.
And today he became quite sure that she knew many secrets about the game he didn’t. He already had access to that dark dungeon for quite a while now, yet he never knew what she just told him.
That was just the tip of the iceberg, he was positive at that.
“C’mon, get your ass out of that dust and let me see you,” Bloom stopped a couple hundred meters away and shouted in a strong tone. He took his four swords out and let them hover around him.
He was already ready to fight, and if he started then he wouldn’t stop until he killed that foe.
“Oh, you are far more arrogant than the reports said,” a deep and very loud voice appeared from that monster. What surprised Bloom was the fact this sound seemed as if it came from speakers.
“Just drag your fat ass here,” Bloom even took out two more swords and held them in his hand, “I have no time to fool around with the likes of you.”
“Bang!”
His words seemed to enrage the monster or whoever was riding it. The next moment the monster took a step forward, came into the light for everyone to take a clear glance at it.
“What?! It’s not a monster!” Bloom couldn’t help but mumble in shock. That gigantic thing wasn’t a monster, instead it was a giant metallic mecha that was layered in strange blue leather.
It was at least five stories high. Seeing it this near made Bloom think about those extinct dinosaurs.
And in front of it he felt like an ant.
“Are you afraid now?” that metallic sound came out again and this time Bloom spotted the source.
The mecha was made entirely of thick metals with square shaped ugly heads and around fifty rounded red circles like eyes.
And in the middle of its forehead, a cone shaped speaker was there and it was the source of that weird sound.
“Afraid? Hahaha, just feeling the challenge here,” Bloom didn’t show any sign of weakness, “c’mon, fight or flight, don’t waste my time on talking.”
“Ignorant and arrogant… We will add this to your gravestone after killing you,” the voice came again before that gigantic mecha left its leg slowly high in the air.
Bloom watched the left leg rise up before a very frightening shadow loomed over his head. Despite that he wasn’t fazed or even thought of running away.
“Let me show you the power of my swords,” he suddenly darted to the front while holding his swords in hand and other four hovering around him.
And as he started moving, the four swords began to rotate fiercely around. He used his best skill right from the start, and just before that leg pause in the air in preparation to flatten him, his swords moved.
But they didn’t aim towards the raised leg. Instead they went towards the other one.
As for Bloom, he simply used his skills in a row to cross the tens of meters distance between him and that left leg suspended midair.
“Sky piercer… Dash… Cloud of fog… Dash… Hawk!”
After linking all these movable skills, the seemingly long distance was crossed in no time at all. He jumped higher than that leg before his four swords finally hit the other one.
And at that moment, a very loud bang erupted from the other leg on the ground. As he landed over the left leg, he felt the intense tremors running through that mecha.
Then the mecha started to lose balance as a result.
“Fall!” Bloom didn’t stop there and started climbing towards the head of that mecha. At a point of time the mecha was already falling on the ground, making him run instead of climb.
That made him reach the chest region of that mecha just before it hit the ground.
“Sky piercer!”
One second before that mecha hit the ground, he jumped high in the air for three meters while dashing forward. He evaded on hair breadth the violent fall, and when he landed he found the mecha lying calmly there without moving.
Yet he didn’t even stop to glance or check anything around. His aim from the start was that head, making him move fast towards it without considering anything else.
Whoever was controlling the mecha must have been inside that ugly head of it. Attacking there would make sure to paralyze the mecha for good, and relieve him from any threat later on.
Plus he would show Liza his true power, not just as someone with game abilities, but as a veteran who could handle anything no matter what.
He wasn’t just enjoying the game abilities like others, he literally lived in one before he moved to this body.
