Office Diaries - Chapter 131
Back in his apartment, his friends helped him put Jena on the bed.
“Alvin, we can’t stay,” they said afterwards and the dancer nodded. “Don’t worry, I’ll call my sister and then send you a message.”
His friend’s sister was a doctor and she could keep secrets.
“Thanks,” he told his friends although he was very anxious to be left alone with the sleeping beauty.
He had no idea whatsoever what to do. If only Jena just slept, but she didn’t. It seemed that even if they made her vomit the contents of her stomach, she had already digested some of the drug.
“Hurts…hurts…” Jena cried in her sleep and when Alvin came near her to wipe the sweat on her forehead, her hands clamped on his arm.
Huh?
He turned and saw her glazed doe eyes opened.
“Help…it hurts…” she cried, fat tears fell from her eyes.
“What hurts?” Alvin asked worriedly as he surveyed the beauty’s body for injury but Jena shook her head.
“Hurts…here…” she slurred as his hand reached for her sėx and Alvin’s eyes widened in alarm. “I want…I want…hurts…help…” she wept as she guided his hand towards her sėnsɨtɨvė organ and she whimpered again upon his touch. “Please…”
“But…” Alvin was about to step away but she grabbed his arm and continued to beg.
It was then the phone rang and he picked it up immediately.
“What did your sis say?” he asked almost desperately as soon as he answered the call.
“Sis said it will go away in time. But it will be painful,” his friend said and Alvin bit his lip.
“IS there any other way?” he asked and his friend cleared his throat.
“Er… you can help her by sleeping with her,” he said and hurriedly said goodbye before Alvin scolded him.
Sleep with her?
Of course, he wanted to! But not like this! She didn’t even know him!
“Ah— that’s right. Bath, a bath will help,” he chanted as he ran towards the bathroom to fill the tub with cold water.
As soon as he finished, he went back to the room and scooped her up. He hesitated whether to let her soak with her clothes on, but decided to remove them so he could clean and dry them for her to wear the next day. When she had vomited earlier, some of it went to her shirt. It was better that she took them off.
“Stay here,” he told her as he placed her gently in the tub.
His brows knitted as he heard her gasp from the sudden cold temperature and worried as her body trembled further.
She was in pain.
“Please… Please…” she begged as she cried.
The silent tears had turned into desperate sobs as she reached out to hold his arm.
“Please… save me,” she begged as her other hand started to scratch against her skin, creating claw marks that bled.
“Stop! You’re hurting yourself,” he scolded her as he tried to pry her hands away, but it only made her more desperate.
“Please… save me, save me… It hurts,” she begged and begged as she writhed in agony until he couldn’t stand it anymore.
Biting his lip, banishing all hesitations in his mind, he had come to a decision. He would make love to her.
“Jena?” he called the beauty’s name softly and she whimpered in answer.
“I want… I want…” she sobbed groggily as she shifted in the tub, her slender hands reaching for his shirt, tugging him towards her. “Take me…”
Alvin inhaled sharply before lifting her up from the icy water and wrapping her in a towel. He carefully patted her dry which friction made her all the crazier with pain and need.
“Take me!” she screamed at him as he placed her on the bed.
“Yes, Jena, I’ll make love to you…” he murmured softly against her ear making the latter shudder. “I’ll take care of you…”
Softly, gently, he undressed as he ċȧrėssed her skin. His hands, lips, and body paid tribute to the beauty that fate had given him. Even if he left, Alvin would remain connected with this angel, the angel who had taken his heart, he vowed as his manhood thrust deep within her depth, making their body meld into one.
=====
Alvin held his breath. Silence hung between him and his parents upon his sudden confession. He didn’t plan for them to know this way, and he was now regretting his sudden outburst. That night eight years ago, he had planned on pursuing Jena. But the latter had gone the next day. He had tried reaching her at her dorms as soon as he bathed but she was not there and the people there had no idea where she was. Depressed, he went to the airport in the afternoon and went to America without knowing how to reach his angel.
A few months after that, he secretly returned to Korea to look for her again, but he found out that Jena was kicked out of the school for some reason and nobody knew where she went. With a broken heart, he returned to the US and threw himself at work, hoping to forget his lost love.
“We know,” his parents chorused and Alvin frowned.
Excuse me?
“What do you mean?” he asked and his parents laughed.
“We know that Sam is a So— that he’s your son,” his father said which shocked him.
“H-how?” he asked. How in the world did his parents know when he himself had just found out a year ago when Jena told him she had a child.
“Son, only an idiot wouldn’t know he’s your son. Just look at him! Sam’s your seven-year-old dead ringer,” his father said but his mother snorted.
“Oh pooh, who are you fooling?” she scoffed. “Son, we knew about your secret return to the country eight years ago,” she said. “We were curious of course. It wasn’t like you to be so secretive and we got really concerned. Your father hired a detective and we found out that it’s because you were looking for someone named Jena Wang.”
“Oh…” Alvin was now beyond surprised. His parents were really something.
“We tracked her down, of course, and found out that she was a single parent. We didn’t know that the child was yours at first, though. But we never lost track of her. When she graduated from college, I arranged it so that she’d apply in our company and gave her the post as the president’s secretary to save ourselves some grief and watch her up close ourselves.”
“She said her child’s father’s dead, but we knew otherwise though,” his mother continued. “Four years ago, Sam had already started looking like you and more and more as years passed. He’s got your talents too. There’s no doubt he’s our grandchild.”
“Oh…” Alvin felt like a heavy burden was lifted off his ċhėst.
At least he was already clear with his parents. Then again…
“Mom, Dad, if you knew about them, why didn’t you tell me? Why did you let me stay in America knowing I have a growing son here?”
“Ah, says the son who didn’t tell his parents he came back to the country for a week then returned to the US like nothing happened,” his father quipped and Alvin felt a little ashamed.
“Why did you sneak in like a ninja anyway? Were you worried we won’t like Jena and her son?” his father asked.
“No, of course, not,” Alvin answered almost immediately. “I actually didn’t know what I was thinking back then either. I already promised you guys that I would work hard to finish my studies and internship there. You already gave me so much freedom before and I thought I didn’t want to worry you guys over something like that.”
His mother snorted. “You should have told us though. At least we wouldn’t spend many years thinking you were gay.”
HUH? Where did that come from? Alvin was dumbfounded.
“I’m not, okay?”
“We know that now,” his parents chuckled. “When did you find out that Sam’s your son?”
I’m a math genius dad. I knew the instant Jena told me her child’s age,” he answered. “And as you said, Sam looks a lot like me. I still have some of my childhood pictures you know,” he continued.
Though it didn’t matter whether Sam was his or not. He was already decided on wooing Jena years ago. Sam being his son from that time was an added delight.
“Well,” his mother sighed. “Now that it’s out in the open— for us at least, your father and I are hoping you’d make them legal soon. We love both Jena and Sam, son. We’d love it if we get to have them in the family formally. God knows Sam’s once in a while visit is not enough for your dad and me.”
“I’ll try my best,” Alvin answered with a smile.
Now, more than ever, he vowed he’d do everything in his power to claim his family. It was after all eight years overdue.
