Omni-Mastery - Chapter 504: Full Crackdown
When it came to facing many enemies in general, a skilled archer was likely to have the advantage as he could pick up every target of his before they could even approach him, but when the concept of distance turned as blurry as it was in this battle, this advantage seemed to have lost its role.
Despite their current crazed state, these demons were still monsters with over 200 levels. Whether it was avoiding the arrows or closing the distance to the archer, their Agility was more than enough to perform these superhuman feats.
‘It doesn’t fit the situation.’
Of course, considering my own Agility, I could easily counter that by changing my shooting position a few times each second, but the efficiency of such a method wasn’t guaranteed. Especially since I couldn’t borrow the help of Elements to boost my speed further.
Against shaken enemies that were likely to recover their mental state if given enough time, the melee approach was without rival when it came to cleaning up the field!
‘But it isn’t like I can’t mix things up.’
The situation wasn’t one where I had to kill far stronger enemies, nor was it a battle of attrition, so having to worry about the consumption of ‘Fusion’ or how long my Weapon Energy could last was unnecessary.
If anything, this was a chance to go all out on testing the all-out prowess of a Weapon Dominator against an army!
While swinging and stabbing with the double Lightning Cloud Great Spears, I opened up my ring to eject a pile of metallic objects that I had prepared specifically for a situation like this. As I held back my Mental Energy, I let my Weapon Energy do its work!
Roaaaar!
Faced with the aggressive comeback from the Dragon Clan’s army as they tried their best to avoid the chase of the three flying threats, the demons could barely afford to inspect the battlefield, but I planned to make it even harder!
‘Go!’
As the wall of flying spare swords rose to the sky, the few demons who noticed it had their eyes widen in crushing surprise. However, it was already decided that this would be the last expression they could make…
Swish!

The dozen or so demons had their necks penetrated by the swords, sending their heads flying in the air before returning to the flock!
While it might seem distracting to others, the combination of ‘Omni-viewing Eye’, the Perception it stemmed from, as well as the surrounding awareness that my Mental Energy provided allowed me to easily perform this sort of ‘shooting’ as a background task.
“Run…!”
“Be Care-”
Swish! Swish! Swish!
‘Yes, run!’
Naturally, I wasn’t doing all of this just to play around. Part of it was a test, but the main purpose behind all of this was to continue the current trend of the battlefield.
Unlike the battles that I underwent before where I only had to apply certain preparations to level the playground before leaving the rest for the Domain’s joint effort, the demons’ numbers had yet to fall to the point where winning would be a breeze.
As such, I could only further dull their senses with fear. The Dragonoids were powerful, but their mass destruction wasn’t unavoidable. In contrast, the unpredictable flying sword had brought the pressure to a whole new level!
When it came to gun warfare back on Earth, not knowing where your enemy was hiding was a major red flag. It only took one bullet to the head to end everything!
‘After all, you never know…’
In comparison, the demons’ current situation was even scarier. When facing a gun, one could find a corner to hide in and keep watch over the spots that the enemy might have occupied. However, the demons couldn’t do anything as the flock of swords traveled the battlefield and rained down confirmed death!
The way I chose my targets was as random as it gets, so despite having a full view of the shooter, they had no way to tell who was next, nor could they enter a stare war with the swords with the Elemental Dragons and the half-dragons chasing them…
All the demons could do was wish they weren’t next!
‘This should do it.’
Cracking down on the demons this way while gradually exhausting all my sources of power might have seemed like overkill, but both mental and physical warfare was undeniably necessary for me to win this battle.
Besides, no matter how extreme it was, all methods were good and up for use against aggressing invaders!

Since I was not only doing this but also engaging in fierce melee combat, periodically switching between spears, swords, and even axes and halberds to make things more unpredictable, it only made sense that the humongous numbers that made me apprehensive at the beginning started dwindling further and further, but…
“Stop screwing around! Everyone, by my side!”
A loud scream suddenly emerged amid the chaos that I instilled, and it was followed by a very strong impact.
“Do it, now!”
The eyes of the demons still around seemed to have lost their color as they madly dashed in the direction of the screams like a pack of wild animals, but what caught my attention was something else entirely!
‘Really?’
My mental connection with the Ice Dragonoid was suddenly cut off, signaling its death! Although it was supposed to disappear in due time once it ran out of fuel, this wasn’t a natural passing!
Consumption would naturally weaken the Elemental creatures, but to completely disperse the most defensive one of them wasn’t something that one of the demons around would be capable of. Especially not after the deaths of the countless Corrupted and Shamans that originally preserved their strength against the Domain’s suppression!
Just when everything appeared to be nearing its conclusion, the demons had pulled out some way to counter the situation. Just…
‘As expected.’
