One Idiot Three Wishes Unlimited Chaos. - Chapter 81

The heist was a success. I figure some people would think it was wrong of me to go and rob a bunch of places and steal from casinos but who said I was a good person? However there was a small problem and that was I couldn’t just have billions show up in my bank account as that would look suspicious suddenly turning into one of the richest people over night with no job in sight.

So there are a couple of ways we can handle this. First off is gambling in the virtual arena. There were fights with powersuits for money all the time. It was one of the ways the military and other people found fighters for jobs.

This was looking like a good one. My sentinel since it’s special, is also able to slowly put money into my bank account as it’s use as a godly multi tool let’s it hack whatever it wants. However if I dumped in millions at once that would surely pop up on some systems.

I could also purchase illegally acquired goods from the dark parts of the virtual world as there’s always criminals. But that would be putting my safety in someone else’s hands and I’m not really looking forwards to that. I have a system shop I can buy goods from. The best way to make money would be to get my pilots license going and start mining planets for goods. I’d be legally able to sell raw materials for a fortune and that would make me a ton of money and be a perfect disguise. And no one could say anything if I turned some of my billions into raw materials and sold that off.

There are laws in place for planet colonization basically if you find it you own it. Nothing anyone can do about it. However there were also rules stating you can’t own more than a certain amount of planets to prevent people and big companies from just flying everywhere and claiming planets.

You have to do some paperwork and register said planet. But it’s all good and who would actually buy raw materials to sell? Space pirates who sell illegal goods usually take trade in the form of cash or materials like precious metals or gems. That’s to sell to make clean valid cash.

I can’t do any of that for now so let’s not worry about it.

For a huge some of cash right now I sell off all the exotic cars I had since I legally owned them all. Cars from hundreds of years ago are highly collectible and big business presidents will pay a fortune for ‘old antiques’ like these. I keep the nice Lamborghini I had won for myself though.

As soon as they were listed and identified they were auctioned off for insane prices. Insane enough that I could easily buy all the gear I’d need and order a small starship. Kind of like my own personal vehicle. I didn’t think those cars would be worth that much when I got them.

For now I wanted to get a more stable income going. With the girls we all went to the virtual world. Sasha and Silvia were already familiar with the arena. Since me and Isabella had more classes they had time to get used to powersuits and once they heard about the arena their love of fighting took over. Since they only used stock powersuits they were also matched with new people.

They tore them apart. However there was no money to be made against the new people as no one wanted to watch a couple of stock powersuits scuffle it out.

Our new upgraded powersuits were input into the system by our sentinels. We didn’t have to worry about someone finding out about all the enhancements as powersuits upgrades are usually heavily guarded secrets. The system would automatically protect your information and no one could get it. Basically it checks over everything and then deletes it after confirming that it’s legit so no one can get the information.

We registered them at the arena and put up stakes and special rules. The only one who didn’t was Isabella as she wanted to try out the sniper weapons. Our rules were melee only and no flight.

I had currently 0 wins 0 losses and 0 draws.

After I was done registering I’d put in a small sum of money to be gambled like $1000 or so. Now people seeing this on the lineup of enemies would think I’m some kind of rich kid who just got a sentinel or something and wanted to earn some cash.

My match was quickly accepted.

I disappear in a flash of light and I’m in a waiting room hooked up to my powersuit. I get a feel for it and adjust myself properly. I check my weapons and everything to make sure it’s all operating and I have my gear. I click okay. A countdown starts.

After 10 seconds there’s another flash and I’m now in a dense forest filled with trees and foliage. With a flick of a switch my led lights go out and I active my active camo cloak and hop into a nearby tree.

It takes a few moments but there’s a crashing sound coming closer. It seems someone wasn’t too keen on stealth. Through the bushes a powersuit pushes out. It has to be the most gaudy thing I’ve ever seen. It’s holding a massive battle axe and it’s painted red and orange covered in flames. The whole thing just looks like a beacon in the forest. The sentinel doesn’t register any kind of sonar or life force pings so he’s not even using his radar properly.

He blows right past the tree I’m hiding in and doesn’t even bother to look up. I drop down blade drawn and drive it right through the top of his head into its cabin. There’s a scream of fright and then the cabin sparks around my blade. I twist the blade then yank cutting right down the back of the powersuit and winning the match. $1000 is deposited into my account.
