One Kiss To Fall - Volume 1 Chapter 21 High And Low
a force pulled me back, preventing me from walking that path, yet I couldn’t figure out what it was. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking, it was just how my body reacted, like it was anticipating to go down that path, like my body was just giving up, yet my head told me to stop and think.
soon, the path disappeared and I was left in the lonely paradisal world to wonder.
my stomach rumbled really loud at this point.
haha
I really didn’t know what I was thinking because as soon as I took a step toward, my body fell through an endless hole, which felt like an eternity.
BANG!
My head spun so much and my whole body was just shaking tremendously. Slowly opening my eyes, looking at my surroundings, all I could see was darkness.
Trees towing high above me so no light could penetrate through them.
The ground was soft and wet, so when i stood up, my once beautiful white robe was now layered with mud and leaves.
Honestly, my body was just aching so bad, however, I had to get up. I had to find out how I was dumped here. How I ended up with a body feeling like a thousand bricks were piling on me.
Soon enough, I would find out…
I ripped parts of my dress to try and prevent the wet from making me too cold, and instead, using it to tie up my long black hair into a bun.
Then, I wrapped up any wounds from my arms, small cuts here and there.
In actual fact, apart from studying econmics and finance, I also did a fair bit of research on pharmaceutics and medicine because i absolutly loved learning about the human body.
Therefore, wrapping up wounds was just a piece of cake.
I guess I wasn’t too tierd so, forcing my body up from the ground, I followed my instinct to try and find a way out of the forest. It was quite a while before I found a little road; I suddenly heard roard around me.
I assumed they were wolves so I quickly ran to a tree and climed up as high as I could. I think I was about 2 metres of the ground.
Weirdly, I felt as though someone was watching me from afar, like they were waiting for me to do something but there was too much going on to focus on some silly superstitous thing. I didn’t believe to much in superstitions unless it was something imortant to me.
I fell asleep.
