One Kiss To Fall - Volume 1 Chapter 26 It Went Well Until..
My plan went smoothly as I had a clear idea of what I needed to do to get the h*** out of there. Even though my body was shaking and my stomach growled, I trodded on. Carefully avoiding guards, I slipped my body to each and every small corner in order to not be seen as many servants and guards roamed around, not to mention the dragon lurking and flying in the cave.
I think it took nearly 2 hours to get to the other side of the cave because there was so much security and many corners which you didn’t know of what to expect. You had to circle around to avoid the dragons.
Finally I could see the door in sight. Finally. My mind could relax now.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to be the case, for now…
BANG
I have no idea what happened next, but I constantly keep getting knocked out by an invisible force, and just before I reached the second to last stage before the exit on floor 1, my world turned black.
My body crashed to the floor.
I faintly remember feeling someone carrying me but I lost most of my senses after my knock out.
The next day, I woke up on a stone bed, my clothes, luckily, still on but this place was unrecognisable, it was the epiphany of luxury. No words could describe this place, the walls were made of this special stone you found downstairs on the ceilings except it was white in colour and had small intricate carves you wouldn’t be able to notice from one look. The floor was marble and the ceiling was, still cave, but had glass chandeliers will small lit candles in each strand. It was also polished to a light creamy colour. Unlike the walls from downstairs, water didn’t drip and humidity wasn’t hogging the air.
This place felt a lot cleaner, and more comfortable.
But suddenly, I had the urge to…..pee
I went scurrying around to try and find a toilet, BUT THERE WERE NO DOORS!!
This was basically an open plan apartment. After 10 minutes of investigating this place, as well as appreciating it’s beauty, I discovered 2 doors in front of me. They looked the same but there were obviously 2 different rooms behind them. Hoping the first door was a toilet, I closed my eyes and ran in.
Alas, my luck wasn’t good.
I walked into a room.
It felt empty. I couldn’t even dare to open my eyes because I felt an immense heat radiating off and object on my body.
My face was also ….. hot
I was hesitant to open my eyes, and as soon as I did, I regretted it, instantaneously.
