One night with the King - Chapter 49:49. Go in
“Hell yes I am. She’s the warlord. The first of her kind.”
“Then why did you bring us here if you knew that you were scared of her are you out of your mind.” Adrian cut in. He moved over to stand in front of Elijah his hands in his coat pocket in a weak attempt to warm them.
“I was just about to ask the same question but he sure as hell is out of his mind.” Michael added in frustration. He kicked a stone in anger sending it flying straight up.
“I’m not the one who went to a witch to find his lost lover so before you come judging me why not look at yourself in the mirror first.” Elijah hissed. Michael was already on an edge and Adrian could notice it. He moved in between them because he sure as hell didn’t need a fight.
“The last thing we need now is a fight. If she’s as powerful as you say she is, then she already knows we are here. I think it will be better if knock rather than leave.” As if on cue they heard a click sound and the three of them immediately looked to the house. The door was now open. “You see.”
“Well let’s go. We are already here after all.” Michael agreed staring at the now opened the door.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. The fact that someone opens the door for you doesn’t mean that they are Inviting you to their home.” Elijah objected.
“So what do you want us to do then. Stay out here and freeze to death or go back and gain nothing and risk being killed on the way?”
“I don’t know.”
“You better start knowing because you were the one who brought us here in the first place and if I can remember we are here because Gloria is somehow in trouble with the wolves.” Michael huffed.
He still couldn’t believe he was actually saying the wolves like it was really a thing. Everything That was happening was no short of crazy but since they were for his woman as Elijah liked to say he didn’t mind.
“Look I say we go in, there is no way I’m going to leave here without knowing where Gloria is.” Michael stated. He didn’t wait for their replies, he was already tired of waiting. He was going to go with or without them after all Gloria was his not theirs. He waltzed to the door not caring if they were following or not.
You should have thought about how ruthless she was before rushing to get help from her Elijah! A voice in Elijah’s head scolded him.
