One night with the King - Chapter 96:96. Tell
When Lucius realized that his grip on her was too tight he let go of her, “I’m so sorry.” He whispered. If he had a heart it would be bleeding.
“I’m OK.” Monica responded opening her eyes. She breathed through her parted lips and held his hands, intertwining her finger with his. She curled up against him so her body was on his. He loved it.
She saw the guilt written on his face and tried to wash it away by smiling. But the truth was her whole body hurt both from pain and pleasure. And his grip was life threatening but now that she was holding his hands she felt better.
Lucius nodded. He wanted to hold her so he gently pulled his fingers away from hers and then she felt a little playful and tried to fight him.
He almost laughed when he felt her little finger fight to keep his hands in hers. He grinned and pushed the bed sheet away so he could roll on top her. But now she was no longer in the place she was before and it was stained with blood from where her neck was supposed to be and___
She was smiling loving that she finally got the out of the melancholic state they were in with just a little attempt until he looked up at her with horror or guilt she couldn’t quite tell what it was. She wondered what suddenly happened when her eyes trailed his to the blood stain on the bed then she looked up and met his eyes.
“It was my first time but I’m fine. It doesn’t mean anything.” She tried to smile but it faltered. Her heart was beating fast against her chest, she didn’t know what he was thinking and she couldn’t make out one emotion from his expression, that was what scared her the most. “I’m sorry I thought I told you although I didn’t explicitly I mean__”
He sat on the bed his legs called up behind ass. “I feel like an idiot for not knowing. I, I, couldn’t even do one thing right by you today. First I kidnap you and then have you attacked and then this now I see why the gods kept you away from me I’m no good, I’ll understand if you want to leave you can.”
His voice broke. He looked away from her forcing her to sit up even though she wasn’t ready. She moved close to him on her knees, looking at him so lost her heart couldn’t take it. She cupped his face bringing it to meet hers so his eyes could no more escape hers.
“I’m fine.” She smiled. “You’ve done right by me today and I’m not going to ever leave you. Not now, not ever, I promise.” She hugged him tight sobbing softly on his shoulders, his hands remained by his side for a while before he hugged her.
“Please don’t leave me, I won’t be able to take it. I’ve searched for you for so long, I can’t afford to lose you now. I love you Monica.
I don’t want to live anymore without you by my side.” His hands were shaking against hers and she pulled closer to him, so close that they might as well be one body. “Please don’t ever leave.”
“I won’t.” She sighed her breathe tickled his neck making him grin.
“That tickles.”
“I know.” She replied chuckling. Then she pulled away from his arms and kissed his nose. His hands were still wrapped against her waist though she was few inches away from him. Then she kissed his nose again.
“Stop that.” He giggled. She smiled and placed her forehead against his so their breathing aligned.
“I’m really so sorry. I don’t know what else to say”
“There is nothing to be sorry for, pain and pleasure are like Yin and Yang.”
Lucius shook his head amused by her comparison. He pulled her nose and smiled. “Then Let me wash you, Please.” He tried to carry her up bridal smile but she pulled him to her instead so their lips touched.
“Lay with me, Lucius.” She whispered against his lips.
“But. I really need to get this stain out of your neck it’s tempting.”
“Then by all means fall but please lay with me. I feel the need to have you close some more on this bed where my passion was first extinguished.” She insisted.
They stared at each other both on their knees, bodies so close, eyes so locked. They remained like that for a while enchanted by each other.
He held on to her waist and brought her close his hold on her was strong yet soft, like he was claiming her yet giving her the ability to chose if she wanted to be claimed or not. Like he was taming her yet giving her a choice of freedom.
He kissed her deeply and softly making sure not to bite but making sure that when his lips left hers she would still be able to taste it on hers. He didn’t want to taste her blood or he would loose his mind. He couldn’t believe that he was bound to her now, If there was ever pleasure in immortality he only felt it now.
She pulled away from the kiss smiling she laid down and patted the side of the bed close to her so he could lay too. Lucius gave a ghost of a smile locking hers with her. She had on a mischievous smile, the kind that was claiming victory. She almost chuckled when she stretched his body beside her.
When she looked up and met his eyes they were so beautiful she had to look away again laying back down on his chest. His eyes were like the cloud in the beautiful night or like the moon she so loved to look at in the cold night.
His hair scattered on the pillow curly and smooth, he was mouth watering beautiful and he was hers for the night and if the gods should favor her tomorrow also.
“Tell me about all this. Explain to me how it is you came to be.” She sighed hugging him closer. She wanted to hear his story to know how all this came to be. If she wasn’t dreaming and this was all real she needed answers, answers that he alone could give her.
