One night with the King(Updated everyday) - Chapter 113:114. It begins
Jessica waltzed into her library with a smile on her face. Everything was going just according to plan and she could not help but smile.
Soon enough though, the smile on her face disappeared when she saw the person who had been waiting for her, Elijah. She was not in the mood for any rebellion neither did she want to kill any of her own today.
It didn’t mean that she won’t take the life of anyone who dared to stand in the way of her revenge.
“Do you have something to say?” She asked with a raised brow. Elijah stood there not saying anything.
She turned back and took a book of spells from the library, ignoring him. She knew he had something to say but was too scared to, good, she didn’t care. She didn’t need his input.
The book she had taken from the library had no cover on it. It was a very old book of over a thousand years which she had stolen from the oldest warlock. There was no dust on it as Jessica made sure to clean all her books.
“I.. I..” Elijah stuttered. He couldn’t get a word out of his mouth even though he had a lot to say.
He wished he was strong enough to take down Jessica because that’s all he wanted to do. Take her down but he wasn’t and he would be a fool to think otherwise.
“Well I guess it is a no then. You have nothing to say.” Jessica said irritated. She closed the book she had been reading and dropped it back on the shelf. “Let’s go.” She says to Elijah as she puts her cloak over her head.
Elijah didn’t know where they were going but with the way Jessica seemed to be in the mood for war he figured that she was definitely on her way to cause trouble.
She was either going to confront the vampires or the werewolves. He put his money on the werewolves. Jessica didn’t have the power to take down the vampires especially when their king is still alive. He knew that she knew that.
She was building an army to take down the vampires but why? Why was she so determined to take them down, it seems that she would die trying?
No one knew why she desperately wanted to take down the vampires. Some say its for revenge, but what could the vampires have done to piss her so bad.
She had no family, no name before she became the most powerful witch. That was what made her even more powerful the fact that no one knew her history, nor her weaknesses. No one knew who she was before she gained her powers.
Elijah cast his wary thoughts aside and followed Jessica behind, while staying at arms length he did not want to infuriate her. Immediately they stepped their feet outside of the room they appeared in the home of Alpha Noah. Just outside his gate.
Ten warrior wolves were guarding the gate, and on sighting the witch one of the wolves howled alerting everyone including Noah.
They shot at Jessica but she cast their arrows away before they could even reach her. One of the wolves who was brave enough transformed and attacked her. Without moving an inch she swapped her right hand causing the wolf to fall down.
It whimpered for two seconds before it died then transformed back to his human form.
His fellow warriors were angry but more than angry they were afraid.
“Weak creatures.” Jessica sighed then turned to Elijah. “Take care of them. I am going inside.” She said.
Deep inside he loved how powerful he felt and the show of power he was going to have while he took down the wolves filled him with adrenaline. He had never been in battle before and his feelings of this was one of ambivalence.
Jessica appeared inside the house to meet more than twenty warrior wolves ready to attack her.
She scoffed. She wasn’t going to kill them. She didn’t come here to do that neither did she need to. The leader who was one of the wolves but still in human form stepped forward to match her gaze..
“You are not invited here witch!” He spat.
Jessica smiled. “Tell your Alpha that I am here And I may spare your life. You do not want to fight me.” She smirked.
The warrior immediately took a step back. He was afraid but could not show it. They were all afraid but they would fight to the end for their Alpha.
Noah who had been down and sorrowful since Gloria was taken away from him regained his strength when one of his warriors informed him that Jessica the witch who took his lover had come back, for what reason he didn’t know.
But he knew one thing, she was not going to leave his park alive.
Noah jumped up from his bed and started transforming to his wolf form when Aiko badged into the room, tensed.
Her mother had gone downstairs to calm the other wolves while she sent her daughter over to the Alpha. Aiko is the only one that the Alpha listens to.
“Ten of our best warriors are dead!” Aiko said immediately she badged into his room stopping Noah’s transformation in the process.
“I will rip her heart out of her chest just like she has done mine.” Noah growled. He was starting to transform again out of anger.
“Calm down Noah. Jessica is the most powerful witch, we have to negotiate. We can not beat her and even though right now I wish that we can rip her apart like a deer. I know better than to indulge her in a fight.” Aiko said.
She wanted to fight but her mother had asked that they negotiate and she had to do just. The last time she disobeyed her mother it didn’t turn out well. And this time she knew her mother was right.
For the first time in a long time she was very scared. She had always known that she would one day confront Jessica but she didn’t know that it would be this soon.
“Negotiate? Impossible! I am not negotiating with that witch?” Noah growled. His eyes had changed their color. They were now gold with red highlights.
“If you don’t negotiate Noah, then she will kill us all.”
Just then they had Jessica’s voice across the room. It was filled with threat, malice and arrogance. “Noah tell your men to back down. Come and face me or I will rip them apart. I really don’t want to, I need them alive but If you are not here by the count of ten they will all die. One….”
