One Piece: And The Original - Chapter 23
While contemplating on the next course of action, a few flying fish spring up from the water, as well as an intriguing idea. Do my powers work on animals as well? Itching to find out, I clasps my legs on the back of the bicycle and leans in on the water. The moment a fish reaches the surface of the water, a hand grabs it by its wing, fin, thingy. Gasping for air and freedom, the fish struggles with all its might, only to get exhausted in the end. For the little demon that caught it isn’t letting go. Its face only inches closer to it, if it could cry it would. Why didn’t god make me with eyelids or a neck? Why did it have to look at those terrifying red eyes? The moment she let’s it go, is the moment it will flee with all its might.
“When I release you, you will swim next to us and follow us” I smile as I lower the fish back into the water. A few seconds pass as the fish disappears in the distance. So fish are no good then? I’m feeling a bit disappointed there, let’s search the sky for my next prey. I look up only too notice they fly far too high in the sky, i’m still too short to catch it. I could shoot it down, but what if the shard kills it? There aren’t a lot of birds in the sky, and I’m not sure even one of them might survive a crystalized shot of my kagune. Releasing a sigh, I sit back down on the back of the bike while feeling the sun burn my skin. Next time we enter a city, the first thing I’ll buy is an umbrella. Though it might heal, it the stinging is annoying. It’s like an itch that won’t go away. Feeling the trip might take a while, taking out a small Rinkaku, I try to move it around. At the moment I have 4 kagune, one of them I an’t use unless I wants to be a berserker. Each one has its own traits, but can these traits combine or grow? I can make it smaller and bigger in size, but can it change its shape?
For the next few hours, I struggled to try to change the shape of the small Rinkaku before me. Making it slim, broad, sharp and long. Though stretching and sharpening where getting easier with time, Making it hollow seemed to be a bit difficult. Feeling dejected, I lean back agains Aokiji’s back and stare at the infinite blue sea and sky. Looking left there is blue, looking right there is blue and looking forward there is blue and a black dot…. Wait black dot?
“Hey lazy black sheep, what’s that?” I point at the small dot in the distance that is slowly getting clearer as time passes. “Yare Yare, can’t even relax while I’m not working” Aokiji sighs as he could see trouble in the near future. Why does work always come with paperwork? Feeling the excitement behind his back rising, he knows he won’t be able to fool the little devil. Seems like they would hunt some small fry pirates for an afternoon exercise.

Dusting off the dirt that has gotten on my hands, I scan the bunch of haggard men tied up in ropes before her. Their teamwork was good, but they are still weak. Maybe at the same level as the beggars on the grey terminal. Even Luffy would be able to take care of them. Well, fish didn’t work, Birds where out of reach, but what about some free labor? I smile and look at each of the men one by one while slowly pronouncing every syllable of the words I tell them.
“You will give it your all to take us to the next island, while working with every fiber of your being. Now get to work” I clap my hands as Finish the last sentence, making the group of men stand up all at once as the ropes are loosened.
Seeing that the devil has taken care of the work, Aokiji makes a comfortable beach chair and lies down with his eye mask on. “Wake me up when we reach the next island” Aokiji softly murmurs as his breathing grows calm and steady.
“What am I, your maid? Wake up by yourself.” I scowl as I go into the kitchen to make myself some lunch and tea. For who would dare to eat something those dirty slav…*cough labor forces make. Who knows where those hands may have been.
