One Piece: Gambling To The Top - Chapter 184
After screaming ‘Die!’ Akainu’s body exploded, turning into magma that pushed Josh to the ground.
Landing on his feet, Akainu held his sword and stared at Josh, whose body was covered by the hot matter.
‘It can’t be this easy, can it be?’ Akainu raised the sword and squatted a bit, looking. His Haki told him that Josh is still fine.
The magma vanished into thin air, revealing Josh, extending his hand while his greatsword was resting on his shoulder. Around his free hand, there was a vortex, made of darkness, and on the Devil’s pattern of the sword, the eyes of the demon were shining red.
“That darkness of yours, what is it…” Akainu couldn’t help but wonder and get cautious. He knew that Josh was too relaxed. He hadn’t been this relaxed when he had fought Mihawk. Had Josh been serious, he would have cut the island in two after turning into his Zoan form, which he hadn’t turned into yet.
“Why are you asking stupid questions that I don’t feel like answering?” Josh asked back, pointing with his finger toward Akainu.
“Because only someone so stupid can answer them,” Akainu replied. He dashed and ran toward Josh.
“You are more stupid to wait for an answer,” Josh replied as Akainu appeared above him. Akainu chopped down, the blade of the Katana turning into a red streak of light, cutting Josh in half.
But it appeared that it only cut an afterimage as Josh appeared next to his original spot. Before Josh could do another reaction, Akainu, who had his other hand behind his back, turned and pointed at Josh.
“Humph!” with a harrumph, Akainu unleashed the magma. Josh, at the same time, slammed with his free hand toward the magma man. Akainu decided to turn his chest into magma, so Josh’s arm would be burned.
But, at the moment Josh touched Akainu, his fist surrounded by pitch-black fog, Akainu’s magma hand didn’t head toward Josh.
“Let’s see if you can dodge this now! All or nothing.”
Josh had used the Darkness ability which his Great Devil Sword has. Before Akainu could realise his situation, he decided to attack. Jumping up high, Josh lifted his sword, and he slashed down.
Akainu didn’t know why his attack was stopped. It would take him only a couple of seconds to think why. But it seems that his opponent, the current Strongest Swordsman in The World, wouldn’t give him a chance to realise his situation.
As Akainu lifted the Katana to fend himself while being covered by Armament Haki, Josh’s doppelganger slashed from behind. Akainu tried to shift his body to dodge. Alas, his body didn’t turn into magma, and he found no choice but to make Haki dense in that place.
*Spsh*
Blood gushed out as a wound appeared on Akainu’s back. Josh didn’t stop, and he brought his sword up, for another slash. Akainu quickly rolled on the ground, and he jumped back, getting away from Josh.
With his sharp eyes, Akainu scanned Josh.
“You… you have changed…” he growled at Josh.
Akainu seemed to realise what happened now. That darkness. It made him lose his power… wait, it’s coming back to him.
Another alcohol bottle appeared in his hand. Josh lifted it up to his mouth and started drinking again.
Healing Factor and Berserk Constitution work together since Josh gets stronger with the damage he gets.
But Alcohol works better since it makes him more emotional. Men are known to barely show emotion unless they are alone or drinking.
Seeing that he is disrespecting him by drinking in the middle of the battle, Akainu’s facial expressions darkened.
Punching the ground with his fist, great pillars of magma splashed, making towers in heaven.
“Let’s see if you can stop all of this at once,” Akainu said. The magma pillars headed toward Josh from every direction. An attack like this would be never used in the supposed war for one reason because it would backfire on the navy. But since they are here, on the land, Akainu has no one to backfire if he used this attack.
Seeing that he is surrounded from everywhere, and magma was heading toward him, Josh decided not to run away.
Instead, he pointed his sword to the sky. The tip of the sword was aiming in Doflamingo’s direction. Josh threw the bottle to the ground and stared at Akainu’s face.
As the pillars were heading toward Josh, Doflamingo had a slight smirk.
Doflamingo, who had been watching from far, was feeling bored.
‘It’s shame that he and Akainu are fighting, I’ve always wanted to make a deal with him. But those celestial dragons wants him dead. Meh… in the best case, I’ll wait for him to get exhausted and kill him.
‘Besides, that sword looks very good.’ Doflamingo, as he was standing on one thread, smiled in greed as he looked at the Great Devil Sword.
The sword was surrounded by darkness, which seemed to make magma vanish.
Doflamingo felt that sword was grabbing him, grabbing his eyes, his souls…
Wait a second.
It’s grabbing his body!
Doflamingo aimed at the sky, to a near cloud, trying to make his way out.
Alas. The gravity that was pulling him was so strong, and, as the pillars of the magma were about to kill Josh, Doflamingo found himself in the middle of the battlefield.
“Bastard! What the hell you are —”
Before Doflamingo could complete his words, Josh turned into 3 meters tall demon, and he held Doflamingo by the neck.
“You got this on yourself.”
“You already knew!” Doflamingo didn’t deny it as he was feeling his body about to getting melt.
*Swish*
Josh vanished from his spot, and he appeared in the sky, looking down. A large portion of his battlefield was covered in magma, and Akainu was standing in front of it. Akainu lifted his head and stared at Josh, who turned into a demon.
“You finally went all out,” Akainu said, smirking.
The Demon form didn’t make him intimidated as the darkness could disable his transformation.
Well, in that case, Akainu felt lucky that they are alone.
“Playtime is over,” Josh said in a deep demonic voice.
His fist growing bigger and bigger, Akainu took a step forward, and he shot a giant magma fist.
Forming a fist, Josh flapped his wings, and he punched the magma’s fist.
In this form, Josh is 10 times stronger, and his strength had already exceeded the 1500 points, in his original form.
Adding that all of his demonic abilities got stronger.
Akainu observed how Josh punched the magma fist back to Akainu. Josh then extended his hand and opened his palm.
“Let’s see if you can burn this fire,” saying that with sarcasm, crimson fire surrounded Josh’s hand before it turned into a very focused jet flame that was as big as a large battleship. It headed toward Akainu, and it felt so hot.
“Humph. There is nothing my magma can’t turn into ashes.”
Akainu pointed with the Katana. The blade turned into magma, and it clashed with the Wrath flames.
