One Piece: Gambling To The Top - Chapter 206
Josh was quite confused about the situation he is in. As Melissa did as she was told and moved the submarine in the angle Josh told her to, a giant spark passed by their original spot.
“Joshy! What’s going on?” Confused, Mikita asked.
“Someone is manipulating the stones in the depth of the sea to attack us. Make the ship light.”
Josh had a great range when it came to his Observation Haki. With his ability to see the near future, he could predict what was going to attack them. Despite being the strongest, Josh realises that some locations give the enemy advantage.
Touching the wall of the submarine, Mikita closed her eyes and muttered. “Kilo-Kilo: One kilo”
The ship became light all of the sudden and it was so light.
“So, can’t you just kick his ass,” Hancock asked.
“I can. But he is 1000 meters below us. Not to mention that I’ll cut our ship, this is Grand Line and I’ll get lost from you once we lose sight of each other.” Josh said, annoyed.
“Why did you tell me to light it?” Mikita asked.
“This.” Josh pointed forward.
A giant hand that was 1000 meters long appeared in front of them. The mass should be around millions of tons if measured. The first closed on the submarine. Because of the lightweight, the submarine was pushed with the water, and Josh half-closed his eyes at the giant fist.
“Josh, let me deal with this,” Hancock suggested as she walked to the door.
“Hey, stay here. It’s not something worth mentioning.”
Hancock smiled at Josh and said. “Come on. I wanted to try this Haki type.”
After Josh nodded, Hancock took off her dress and jumped into the water. The giant fist moved toward the submarine. While holding her breath, Hancock clenched her fist. She had already been strong, but because of Josh’s boosts, she became way better than her previous self. Dark lightning surrounding her fists, Hancock dashed with the speed that surpasses a mermaid. When she kicked the mountain-sized fists, water was pushed everywhere. The stone cracked and exploded into shreds. The momentum was enough to push the submarine to the top. Hancock shook her leg and stared down. No one had appeared. But she was sure enough that the Conqueror Haki’s impact should be enough to deal with soever behind the rocks.
She turned toward the submarine, looking for a sign. If she didn’t succeed, Josh, who could see the future, would have sent a signal. Seeing that he sent non, she swam back.
Josh seemed to be quite impressed as he clapped his hands and raised his eyebrows. Hancock just smiled and hugged him, saying. “I’m salty now and need to take bath. Want to join me?”
“Why are you asking an obvious question?”
Hancock only smiled and leaned for a kiss, which she got.
Once the kiss was over, Josh put his finger on her lips and turned his head with a sigh. “If you excuse me, that guy isn’t over.”
“I’m pretty sure that I damaged him.” Hancock declared. “Even an Admiral will fall after getting hit by the Conqueror Haki.”
“Yeah. But Pica was away.” Josh cracked his neck and pulled some trigger in his submarine, turning into a ship.
“Pica?” Hancock tilted her head. “You know him.”
“Someone from Doflamingo’s crew. RIP.”
Walking to the edge of the ship, Josh had wings appear on his back. As he flapped his wings and floated, Josh raised his hand, gathering light.
The small waves started getting bigger and bigger. The ship was being pushed back as a huge mountain started ascending from the depth of the sea, forming a giant golem.
The golem wasn’t only gigantic. It was around 1000 meters above the air, and it clenched its fist. That fist can generate an impact that can destroy a whole country.
“The one behind it is hiding in his stones, right.” Hancock was about to move forward, but Josh shook his head.
“He can avoid you if you attacked, better leave this to me. I’ll annihilate this mountain.”
The light ball started getting bigger and bigger until it was the size of the Warship. Josh could use the element of light to make explosive beams, and now, he was making one.
The golem moved his fist. The wind-generated alone was enough to push the water.
“More More: x225 Size”
Josh threw the ball.
Since he had gotten a new Devil Fruit, Josh hadn’t forgotten to use some upgrades from the system. It was one of the benefits of having the ability to see the future.
The light ball grew so big that it was bigger than the mountain. The golem’s eyes shook in fear as he what happened. The light ball swallowed the stones, dissolving them into small shreds, and sank in the water.
“Don’t worry. I didn’t make it too explosive.” Josh said as he put his fingers in his ears. “I advise you to do the same.”
*Boom*
The next second, a huge explosion was heard. The water splashed to the sky as a enamours light pillar headed to the sky. Everyone seemed to be blinded by the light, and they covered their eyes. Once the explosion was over, there was a big hole in the water. A whirlpool, around 5 kilometres in diameter, started swallowing everything.
There is no doubt that there is a very large hole below. Josh had just used an ability that can destroy an island, and he said he held back a bit. It can’t help but stun anyone who sees it.
Her eyes wide open, Hancock walked forward as Josh landed on his feet and took his wings back. It’s easy to tell that Josh didn’t turn completely into a demon, meaning that he wasn’t using his whole power.
“Since when you grew up this strong,” Hancock said as she held his arm. “I’m so proud of you.”
When Josh turned, he could almost swear that he saw hearts inside of her blue eyes.
Josh smiled back at her.
“Josh! We are going to be swallowed by that whirlpool! Stop flirting! It makes me jealous!” Mikita started screaming, making Josh awaken from his romance.
“Right. More More, Speed x 50.” Once Josh increased his speed, the ship got out of the whirlpool range.
The crew got a little rest, and Josh took a bottle of water and drank a bit. As he left the girls to chat, he sat down to think a bit.
Pica just had attacked his ship and Josh exploded him. The bastard won’t survive even with a miracle. But the main point is that Pica attacked him, and he belongs to Doflamingo, who had been killed by Josh.
“Seems I have some dirt to clean,” Josh muttered as he stood up.
“What do you have in mind?” Robin, who overheard him, asked.
“I have one week before meeting Jozu again.” Josh stretched his arms up. “I know exactly where I am going to spend this week.”
Once he was over with his words
Robin put her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes.
“Can’t you just be direct with your intentions? Not everyone can read thoughts like you.” Robin sighed.
“All I can say, I’ll just rob some underworld tyrant.” Josh winked at her. “It won’t be much of fun if I don’t leave you on a cliff.”
Robin extended her hand and Josh handed his compass.
“I’ll go and get some boosts in the way. I still have 27 billion.” Josh lay down on the ground.
“Hope it will be a long trip. Because I’ll need you after this.” Robin looked at the compass and turned, jiggling her butt to get Josh’s attention. But the latter just closed his eyes.
