Online Game: SSS-Rank Supreme Summoner - Chapter 23
Chapter 23 Nano’s Public Class! Has Become Li Huan’s Home Ground?
“Hahahaha, all right! Li Huan, just pass me the things! There are no more classes today anyway! Since you young people are meeting, I won’t disturb you guys!” Nano smiled and took the items from Li Huan’s hands, indicating that the two of them should have a good chat.
“Were you thinking of something weird? It’s definitely not what you’re thinking! Don’t go! Let me explain!” Li Huan shouted silently.
Lana was admittedly good-looking, and he had played the role of a hero saving a damsel in distress. So it was impossible for her not to have positive feelings towards him.
But Li Huan was very clear about one thing! Women… were the only obstacles on his journey to become stronger!
He was now completely focused on becoming stronger! He did not care about anything else!
“Teacher, are you free tonight?”
“Not free.”
Li Huan shook his head.
“How about tomorrow night?”
“Not free.”
“Aiya! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself! Shouldn’t you relax once in a while?”
Lana looked at the stubborn guy in front of her, and felt slightly awkward.
“Oh! I’m always at the library at night! You’re a student, after all! If you have any academic-related questions, you can come and look for me!”
“Sure! The library, isn’t it? I like going there too! In that case, I’ll have a lot of questions to ask you, Teacher!”
Li Huan’s expression changed. How could he be so unlucky to step directly into a pit? “Sister, don’t blame me for being too cruel. The Dark Council is probably looking for me too. I can’t help but feel anxious!” he thought.
After Lana obtained Li Huan’s agreement, she hopped out of his sight.
Nano actually thought very highly of her assistant. Not only was he extraordinarily talented – having become a Level 20 Summoner at that age – he was also very hardworking and eager to learn. When he wasn’t meditating in his own Mage Tower, he was usually studying in the library.
However, what she did not know was that Li Huan had no choice but to hurry! In the Magic Council, there were fees for breakthrough materials after Level 20. In other words, if he wanted to obtain the materials to advance from Level 29 to Level 30, he would have to exchange them with points. And those points, would need to be earned in exchange for reading and helping to teach.
Although he was extremely busy every day, almost to the point of burning out, he felt a deep sense of fulfillment as his knowledge expanded and his abilities kept improving.
“Li Huan! Have you helped me to prepare all the things needed for today’s introduction to summoning spells class? There will be other professors coming to attend the class today!”
The introduction to summoning spells class that day was a very complex one. Even students of the Royal Magic Academy had trouble when taking the class.
At that moment, someone pushed open the door and entered. Li Huan looked up and saw a bald uncle with a greasy and vulgar-looking
face.
“Uncle? Is there an issue?”
“Uncle? What uncle! I’m only a year older than your Professor Nano!”
When the person who came in heard the word “uncle”, he was so mad. He almost jumped up and hit the young man in front of him who was a head taller.
“Li Huan! How could you be so rude? This is our academy’s Professor Dagan! Quick, apologize to the Professor!”
“Dagan? Our academy’s young leader, known as “the academy’s number one brain”, Professor Dagan?”
It was not that Li Huan had not heard of that name before. It was just hard for him to associate the title of “young leader” with that bald uncle in front of him.
“Go, go, go! You don’t have any manners at all! You’ll embarrass Professor Nano when you go out! Hehe, Professor Nano?”
The bald uncle pushed Li Huan aside, and walked towards Nano’s side with a fawning expression, as he looked at the beauty who was one forehead taller than him.
“About today’s class! Exchange students who just arrived from other kingdoms will also be attending the class! Why don’t you let me teach this class with you? Don’t worry! You’ll still be the main lecturer! I’m just a little worried…”
As Dagan spoke, he glanced over at Li Huan, who was packing the items.
“Aiya, Professor! Are you worried about my teaching assistant? You don’t have to worry! I do appreciate your kindness though!”
“But there will be lots of people watching. If something goes wrong because of him…”
“Don’t worry! I trust Li Huan!”
When he heard that, the sparkle in the uncle’s eyes dimmed. Nano had not said those beautiful words because Li Huan was there. It was because she truly had faith in Li Huan.
“All right! Hey, if you change your mind, come and look for me anytime! I’m always here!”
The bald uncle scratched a few strands of his stubborn hair, and left the office in embarrassment.
“All of you, listen up! Later on, during class, give that new teaching assistant a few difficult questions! But don’t go too far, do you understand? Exchange students from other academies will also be coming today! It’s all about controlling the degree! Make the teaching assistant look bad, and then let Nano resolve it! Understand?”
Once he returned to his office, Dagan immediately called over a group of his students, and instructed them fiercely.
After all, his desire to pursue Nano had long been an open secret in the academy. It was just that his pocket-sized figure and shiny head almost canceled out his academic achievements.
“Understood!”
His final batch of disciples answered in unison. Since their teacher had run into difficulties, the disciples had to offer their utmost support and assistance!
Not long later, Li Huan followed behind Nano into the classroom. There were clearly more people that day. Yet, Li Huan immediately caught sight of that reflective skull, as well as a few pairs of eyes that were up to no good beside him.
“Hello, everyone! I’m the main lecturer for today’s introduction to summoning spells, Nano! This is my teaching assistant! He’s a Summoner himself! It’s my honor to take you all through this lesson today!”
“This kid! He has practically come into contact with the muzzle of my gun. In this kingdom, my research on Summoners is second to none!”
Taking the opportunity while Nano was writing on the blackboard with her head turned, a question came out of nowhere.
“Excuse me! After a Summoner reaches Level 70, how should he fight against the various AOE classes?”
Hmph! No matter how good he was, Dagan wanted to see how Li Huan would answer that question! He did not believe that Li Huan would know anything about Summoners after Level 70!
“Mm. Teacher Nano is still writing on the board. Let me explain it everyone first then. Of course, this has to be analyzed in accordance with the specific situation. For example, Ice Mages who are adept at Crowd Control. If your opponent is at the same level or lower, you can use the Skeleton army to directly cancel out the halo effect. If it’s Voodoo Warlocks, Corrupted Priests, or even mutated Arrow Rain Archers, my suggestion is actually to fight them head-on. In the later stages, the sheer number of Summoned Creatures of a Summoner, from a certain point of view, will actually crush pure AOE classes. However, if it’s one against many, I suggest you bring a Blessing Priest along. What AOE classes are least afraid of are prolonged battles. If you’ve executed all your moves and your opponent is still breathing, and you can’t replenish your Mana, you will have no ability to fight anymore. This is just my personal opinion.”
