[Online Gaming] Love You 59 Seconds - Chapter 41
Proofreader: Jesse
By the time Wu Han Ying got back home it was already 6 o’clock and very dark outside. He spent a long time looking around at the phone place, but he finally gritted his teeth and chose the one he likes; even though it was a bit expensive, he had enough money in his bank card to pay for it.
Once they finished at the phone store, Xia Chen drove him back to his house and made the comment that it was getting very dark outside. He ended up dropping Wu Han Ying off right in front of the building despite the small alley being very narrow.
Around here only the small convenience shop place had its light on, the surrounding areas were in complete darkness. Wu Han Ying got out of the car and before he could say anything to Xia Chen, he heard someone calling him. He looked back and heard “thump thump thump” and then felt his heart stop when he saw Wu Ning running towards him from the small convenience shop.
“Car, car! I also want to ride the car!”
“Don’t run, be careful so you don’t bump into people!” Wu Ning’s mother said while following her.
Wu Ning reached out her hand to pull the car door open, but Wu Han Ying stopped her. His aunt held up Wu Ning and slapped her hand, “Don’t touch, you can’t afford to pay for it if you break it.”
“I also want to ride in it.” Wu Ning was unhappy and pouted her mouth.
Xia Chen got out of the car and patted Wu Han Ying’s shoulder, “Hurry back, I’m also taking Xiao Shang home.”
After Wu Han Ying nodded, Xia Chen did not say anything else; he just got into the car and drove away.
When he entered the apartment he found the family was getting ready for dinner; since Wu Han Ying ate too much in the afternoon, he was not even a bit hungry so he went straight to his room. After he entered his room, he felt like something was off. As he stood there he suddenly realized that he still had Xia Chen’s coat on; he forgot to return it…
He took off the coat and carefully hung it up, Wu Han Ying sat down on the edge of his bed and clutched his phone; he kept debating whether he should call or send a text message. After he looked at the clock hanging on the wall, he reasoned that Xia Chen might still be driving, so it was best to send a text message.
Seeing as how he wasn’t used to the new phone, Wu Han Ying fumbled with it for a long time before he was able to send a text out.
Less than a minute later his phone rang loudly and startled him. The default ringtone was quite different from what he was used to.
A new text message Professor Xia:
I also just got home. Just bring the clothes with you tomorrow
18:45:56
A new text message Professor Xia:
I’ll wait for you downstairs at 2 o’clock tomorrow
18:46:10
Wu Han Ying almost simultaneously received two short messages; the other must have thought he was unclear in his words in the first message. Now he was reminded that he would be sitting in Professor Xia’s car while traveling back to school tomorrow, but this time it no longer stressed him out like last night. Professor Xia was pretty easy to get along with, his glacier face might scare one off, but he was not that horrible.
Thinking back on it, he felt a little funny at the zoo when Xia Chen was walking around holding his hand, it was as if the man was afraid to lose him.
Wu Han Ying lied down on the bed as he replied to the message by politely thanking the other. He felt completely exhausted today, but he had a lot of fun. It had been such a long time since he last went to the zoo and the feeling of someone holding his hand while walking around was so nostalgic.
Xia Chen also replied to his message, with only one word — um. Wu Han Ying looked at it and smiled, he couldn’t help thinking about the other line’s calm face, after a few moments he shook his head.
Finally he let go of the phone by throwing it onto the bed and since he had nothing else to do he decided to pick a book to read from the bookshelf. Around 1 or 2 o’clock he got extremely tired and fell asleep.
The next day Wu Han Ying woke up late, so he combined breakfast and lunch into one meal. At around 1 o’clock he started to pack up and get ready to go downstairs to wait for his ride back to school.
As he was packing up, his grandma came into the room, “Why are you going back so early this time? How about you have dinner first then go back?”
“It’s ok; if I go later there will be traffic.”
“Then when will you come back home again?”
Wu Han Ying gave it some thought and then looked at the calendar hanging on the wall, “Final exams are right around the corner, I’ll come back during the holiday break. Otherwise, going back and forth during the exam weeks would be a waste of time.”
“Alright.” His grandma said while she took out a 100 yuan bill from her pocket and stuffed it in Wu Han Ying’s hand, “Use this to buy something to eat on the way back. Your school cafeteria has nothing good to eat. Quickly put it away. If that girl sees it, she will want it.”
{Translator Input: 100 yuan = 15 USD, well you can buy lot of snacks with this, and maybe a meal T.T}
Wu Han Ying took the money but felt like it was burning. He had wanted to say no but after seeing the other’s appearance he really could not say it; he could only smile and say, “Oh, okay; I’ll buy something when I go downstairs.”
“Good, study hard for your exams, then come back to celebrate the Spring Festival.” His grandma said, “Ah right, your aunt said yesterday a man drove you back in a very nice car.”
Wu Han Ying listened to that sentence and felt like laughing. How come it sounded like they were some evildoers, “Oh, that was my teacher.”
“Oh, the teacher, teacher,” his grandma said while nodding, “it’s good that it’s not a bad person.”
Wu Han Ying started to walk downstairs as he fished out his phone to take a look at the time, it was 1:50. He made sure to be a few minutes early because he didn’t want to make the other man wait.
When he got out of the building the black Mercedes-Benz was nowhere in sight; he decided to walk to the end of the alley, since it is narrow and making a U-turn would be pretty difficult.
Once he reached the intersection outside the alley, he saw a black car coming his way. As he watched the car approach he suddenly thought of what his grandma said. As he looked at the car and the man behind the wheel with new eyes he could not help but want to laugh; indeed Xia Chen’s posture did not resemble an educator. His posture made him seem a bit like a business elite, but it definitely does not resemble a bad guy.
“What are you laughing about?” asked Xia Chen immediately asked after Wu Han Ying entered the car.
Wu Han Ying just shook his head and said: “How come Xiao Shang is not here?” he turned his head to look, but only the two of them were in the car.
“He was taken away; he went to play with his Little Uncle.”
It was an hour drive with Wu Han Ying sitting in the back by himself. At first he was chatting, but after a while the conversation lagged so he had fallen asleep. When he opened his eyes again, he was greeted with the red buildings on campus and realized he was in the school parking lot.
He quickly patted his face to sober a bit while he waited for Xia Chen to park his car; the two got out together.
As Wu Han Ying waved his farewell to Professor Xia, he felt his shoulder get slightly heavy and got a slap on the back.
“You brat, since when have you become so close to Professor Xia? Damn, I saw it right; you even dare to ride in the same car with that paralyzed face.” Jiang Tan hooked his neck and said loudly.
“Off, off.” Wu Han Ying shoved his arm away as if he was shooing flies, “We just happen to share the same road.”
“Ok, I admire you.” Jiang Tan jutted his lip and remembered he came out here to buy something so he ran off in a hurry.
Wu Han Ying shook his head as he headed to the dorms, even though it had only been two days since he had played the game, he somewhat missed it.
He ran all the way to the 6th floor. The first thing he did after entering the room was to turn on his laptop. Wu Han Ying threw his bag of clothes into the closet and then logged into the game.
Looking at the little girl on the screen made him realize he really missed it ah, it had only been two days. But…somehow his precious daughter seemed to look quite awkward. He could not help but turn the little girl around, finally he realized what was different…the pale pink bunny clothes on his daughter had disappeared!!
Not that it had disappeared, but it was not the pale pink color! How had it become a pale blue! Although it looked really nice, he…was not used to it…
It was definitely Love You 59 Seconds…
He decided to stop checking out his daughter’s new clothes and tune into the guild channel. Wu Han Ying sent a greeting to the guild and looked to see which members were online. It seemed that the guild had gained a lot of new members to the point that he did not recognize any of them. In the pending list, there were many requests waiting to be approved; without taking time to look at the individual requests, he just clicked accept all.
{Guild}[Xiao Xiao Xiao~]: Sao Zi you’re here~
{Guild}[Xiao Wu]: Xiao Xiao
{Guild}[Xiao Xiao Xiao~]: Sao Zi, I’ve contacted three trading routes

{Guild}[Qi Yue Wei]: Buy JP blood sacrifice baby, buy JP blood sacrifice baby, buy JP blood sacrifice baby, and some MMMM
{Guild}[Qi Yue Wei]: Buy JP blood sacrifice baby, buy JP blood sacrifice baby, buy JP blood sacrifice baby, and some MMMM
Wu Han Ying wanted to ask how to do a trading route, but the guild channel was getting pushed up too fast. So instead he decided to look it up on Baidu, but before he did he couldn’t help but look over at his friends list to check one thing, Love You 59 Seconds was still offline.
Xiao Wu was at the warehouse organizing a few things in her inventory. After she was finished, she bought a few things from the NPC and then went to the guild teleporter to go into the Guild City.
Thinking about it, the guild was created a little more than a week ago; everyone in the guild gathered together to do a few guild quests here and there, but most of their online time is spent sweeping the pirate quests. The city is still at a level 1 and there is nothing inside.
Xiao Wu went to look around the guild city and then went to the merchant to pick up a draft. She browsed through the store a bit before she decided to use all the J {gold} in her bag to buy the needed materials.
