“How may I help you?” Abhijeet asked right away.

“Where are you taking her?”

“Huh?”

“Anna is not safe right now, those murders are trying continuously to take action to harm her. I know who you are, but she doesn’t, that’s why I am asking you here. Do you have your own security? Because I have to put some force for her protection if she is going out, I would like to cooperate with your securities before you go out.”

Rahul said without restraining any of his thoughts. All this time he knows that Abhijeet does care about Anna a lot. So he needs to know about this so that he can take care of her properly. And Rahul is sure that he can do better than anyone right now.

“Is it serious? What is happening against her” He did think that by this investigation, some dangers will come on Anna but he was sure that Anna is not someone anyone can mess with to begin with. But now after hearing Rahul, he is sure that he missed something. The danger coming on Anna is not as small as he had thought.

“Yes for a common minister or governor but No when it comes to Anna but you must have noticed that Anna put her guards down when she is with you. It can be a threat to her. What I want to ask you precisely is to not put your guards down when you are with her.” Anna can handle this thing very easily if she is alone but he had noticed earlier that she started relying on Abhijeet a lot, to the point where she made mistakes relate to her safety too.

Yes Abhijeet had noticed that Anna does rely on him now, when he is with her. And he was too happy to not be able to describe when he discovered that. “Hmm… I’ll take care of her properly. I’ll return her back to you safe sound. Don’t worry…. Call this no. They will cooperate immediately. Plus I am gonna put my force behind yours as a back up later too from now on. Don’t mind there presence”

Abhijeet came back to Anna’s office and called her “Anna let’s go.” He put his palm in the air so that she would hold it.

Anna naturally holds his hand while taking her carry bag and phone in a hurry to go out. “Where are we going for dinner?” She asked impatiently.

Abhijeet put some strands of hair from her face to behind his ears. He loved it how she didn’t mind the way they interact anymore “Wanna have barbecue today?” He asked gently with a small smile on his face.

Her eyes brightened with the menu in her mind “Definitely.”

“What else did you do today?” He asked while buckling the seat belt of her’s.

When Anna saw him that close to her face she felt something hot on her cheeks… No not just cheeks but her whole face was hot, she quickly lower the air conditioner temperature unconsciously

“Initially I was busy then my plan worked so I was happy. Because my workload got half all together. Then I thought about lunch but I couldn’t find a time to eat, then Rahul scolded me for that. Then he started appeasing me, because I got angry because he got angry, then in return I asked for Doritos. I got 5 of it. So it was all good” Anna narrated her whole day scenario happily.

Nowadays even though she still shares her diary entry to Yagya she also started to do this with Abhijeet who somehow makes her feel that he literally wants to hear her diary entry. He never forgets to ask her this and that, then always cares about her needs even when she never asked for it at the end of the day. Is this really fate that she met him? Because if yes, then she felt really blessed that she actually met such a person that day, who is too good to be true.

Abhijeet patiently hears every single word she says, not because he can’t interrupt but because he wants to know about her, every single thing. He felt more connected to her.
