Initially he didn’t think of having this intimate moment with her today but when he was about to give her his warmth naturally he couldn’t control his force pulling her towards him directly on his lap.

Well he is actually glad that he took this bold move. Now he can finally feel his heart to be calm, no anxiety for the proposal anymore.

Having her this close to him gives him lots of different emotions.

He wanted her to be this close to him all the time where he can protect her from all the evil and care and pamper her to his satisfaction.

But before all this he wanted to tell her about him before this day ended.

He is quite frightened by the thought of her leaving him.

Even though he knew that Anna doesn’t hate kids, he can’t quite avoid the chances where she has to carry this responsibility just because of him, where she might not be comfortable either.

He is scared because of Kavya and Kartik.

“Anna”

“Hmm” After 5 minutes she already made herself comfortable by putting her head on his chest without caring about any other thing. And now she doesn’t even find this wrong.

“Anna I want to tell you something about me”

“I am listening.”

Even after 30 seconds he didn’t say a word, that makes Anna realise that it must be something important.

She looked up towards his face which was just inches away… But she didn’t fluster because of the tense vibe around him.

She put her right hand on his cheek and said “I am here… No matter what I won’t leave… Don’t hurry if you are not comfortable but remember you can take baby steps with me if you want”

“No I will tell you”

Anna didn’t reply to that but waited for him to open up. She sat straight on his lap, she put her left hand on his shoulder and right hand on his cheek to calm his racing heart. This posture was too close as a friend but both of them find it right.

After a few minutes Abhijeet again opened his mouth “I had a friend Tanmay, we were companions in every single thing we did to achieve where I am today. I know my words are a little ambiguous but try to listen” He said when he saw a little frown on her forehead and kissed it for a while and continued again.

“We were going back home after completing our work one day when…”

His hold on her waist got tighter by every single second but he didn’t stop “When we were ambushed to be killed on the spot.”

Anna widened her eyes by the thought of him being killed. But she didn’t show her weakness and let him complete him.

“That day it was decided that there’s no way out today but my friend found a way to be out alive but one has to die for others to save him from the killer. Without thinking twice he gave up that option for him and chose to save me.”

By the end of his sentence his voice was already hoarse. ‘He won’t shed a tear for his friend until he finds the killer.’

“By the end of the day I was alive but worse than being dead… I saw him dying in front of me but I couldn’t save him, I never felt so helpless. But I didn’t approach his dead body which was lying on the road even after 24 hours because I had to save myself to avenge my comrade’s life.”

Without saying Anna hugged him closely… She couldn’t find a word to console him. Because there’s nothing to say.

Abhijeet felt a lot better after a few minutes and hugged her back to calm himself.

“That day one more person died before us… Tanmay’s wife Ritika” Anna didn’t let him go from his hold.

After 15 minutes Anna let go of him and Abhijeet also stared at her for a while before Anna said “There’s more?” Abhijeet nodded and Anna waited patiently again

“They had two kids who were left behind everything. I couldn’t let them go to an orphanage , that’s why I decided to adopt them.”

Anna smiled slightly and said “That’s what you were afraid that I won’t like this part of your life and will leave you?”

When Abhijeet innocently nodded again Anna chuckled lightly and couldn’t control herself and kissed his cheek hardly.

And the next moment both were stiff and stunned.
