Outcast Hunter - Chapter 122

Leo, along with Natalya, Liu Cheng, and Miyamura, engaged in a duel against Polony. The fight started not too long ago.

Inside a conference room, where the banquet for spectating participants took place, Amanda and Quilt, he’s the one who disguised himself as Spain’s representative, made their move. Unlike Polony, who’s as reckless as Liu Cheng and Miyamura, Amanda and Quilt plan on lowering the top hunters’ numbers by killing them one by one. They can’t risk fighting multiple hunters at the same time, not until the other Destroyers arrive.

“Quilt, we’ll join Polony. We can’t idly watch here while he does all the work himself.”

“Shouldn’t we get rid of all those healers surrounding the island? I think they’ll be a real pain since they will just keep on healing wounded hunters.”

“I nearly forgot about them! Let’s go.”

None of the top hunters nor the officials of the tournament knew a thing about what’s going to happen on the island.. Only Leo and the three others with him knew of the fact that the Destroyers’ going to launch an all-out war against top hunters across the world.

Going back to Leo and the others. The serious quarrel continued. Polony showed no mercy in each attack he threw towards his enemies.

“Do you think the others knew about their plan, Leo?!”

The fight was starting to tire Liu Cheng and Miyamura. Their reckless attitude caused them to drain their energy faster than Leo and Natalya.

“I don’t think they know!” Leo glanced at Natalya. “I’ll keep Polony accompanied. Natalya, you go and notify the other hunters!”

Without even answering back, Natalya moved her ass to report Polony’s group.

“Not a chance!”

Polony won’t let her get away. He can’t let her ruin their plan and have the other hunters prepare themselves for the upcoming war. But weren’t their plans out of the bag? He went in a flash, catching up to Natalya. Polony threw a kick towards the running woman.

Hastily, Leo matched up to Polony’s speed, blocking the latter’s leg. Polony’s attack on Natalya didn’t stop there. He chased after her, completely ignoring Leo’s presence behind him.

“Stop making things hard for us! Come here and let me kill you!”

‘He’s ignoring me like I don’t even exist.’

Leo increased his speed even more, just like what Polony did. Liu Cheng and Miyamura wouldn’t let Leo get the better of them, of course. The two followed Leo and Polony, who were currently trying to catch up to Natalya. The latter’s got an amazing skill that let her increase her speed multiple times than those around her.

“I’m not gonna let you do as you please!”

Liu Cheng and Miyamura got on Polony’s way. They blocked the latter’s way using their weapons as they attacked Polony.

“You cockroaches! Get out of my way!”

Sneakily, Leo landed a strike on Polony. Leo struck Polony from behind. The wound wasn’t deep, must be because of Polony’s awareness of that attack. He uses his power to create and surround his body with magicules.

“Tch! Too shallow!”

A shock came from the wounded Polony. Liu Cheng, Miyamura, and Leo were pushed back by the shockwave.

“It stings! You puny humans leave me no choice!” Polony began flying up high. “My power came from thy. Thy, who granted me eternal life and a reason to live. Fury!”

Thunder rumbles and, the dark sky turned crimson red. Magicules gathered around him and began attaching themselves to Polony. Soon, he was covered in it, looking as if he’s wearing armor made of magicules.

“Behold the wrath of the fallen!”
