Outcast Hunter - Chapter 137
Drago sticks out to his plan of breaking the old man’s sword. His fists’ aim was set on the sword only. He would use his arm to block if the old man tries to attack him.
“Do you want to see something you’ll regret you see?” Asked the old man. The seriousness in his face never fades as he emits a more fierce aura around him.
“What I want to see the most is your sword breaking!”
Drago kept on pressuring the old man to use his sword to block himself from the destructively wild punches.
“That’s highly unlikely to happen.”
The old man put his left foot forward instead of backing away from Drago’s continuous attack. He then met Drago’s eyes. Eyes of a being that had live long enough to scare the shit out of dragon boy.
The old man pulled a strike on Drago. His instinct told him to dodge this attack, so his body inadvertently tilted his head. His neck was grazed by the attack and for some weird reason, the wound was not healing its self.
“What’s going on?! Ack, it stings!”
Blood was streaming down his body and, something black was also flowing from the wound.
“We came prepared. That black liquid on your wound was preventing you from regenerating. It was the blood of one of our fellow Destroyer.”
The old man’s sword was covered in black blood.
“Shit! Now, this makes things fun!”
There are people who seek pleasure by fighting. A battle to the death is the best pleasure they could have. A life without fighting would be a boring life for these types of people.
Drago’s movements became more precise and sharper after learning of the fact that he could die any time.
“You’re not bad.”
In quick, repetitive cuts, Drago suffered multiple grazes all over his scaly body.
“Get your ass moving. Your wounds won’t heal.”
Drago heaved a deep, exhilarated sigh and grin.
“I had my ass moving from the start!”
What Drago did was more than what the old man had inflicted on him. Deeper and aimed at his vital points.
“Are you confused? You must be wondering how, so I will tell you. Do you see these scales all over my body? It has a passive attribute that can retaliate an attack and double the damage.”
That explains everything to the old man. His mind now was clear.
“Then I just don’t need to cut you on the part of your body that has no scale, right?”
“Come!”
The scale was formed in the shape of armor therefore, it came with gaps all over Drago’s body.
They clashed together. Both have one goal in their minds; to destroy one’s sword and to pierce him through the gaps.
Having both the agility, strength, and toughness, the two had their fight going with dodging, attacking, and blocking.
Huge deafening explosions soared up the sky and descended on the ground. It came from the perfect cube where Leo was being held. In that confined space echoed continuous explosions. The smoke-filled the inside of the perfect cube obstructing the people and monsters outside to see what was happening inside.
“Master Leo’s presence is slowly fading away!”
“Milord is in danger.”
“I must go!”
“Tch! What the hell do you think you are doing, Leo?! Letting yourself get
beat up!”
Leo’s condition inside the perfect cube was alarming for his resurrections. If he dies, they will become mortal again and, they could die.
“We must save him!”
Inside her room, Leo’s Mom was silently praying for her son’s safety. Worriedness expresses itself on her face as she anxiously wonders what was happening to Leo.
“I’ve got a bad feeling. Please be safe, my dear son.”
