Outcast Hunter - Chapter 139
Leo doesn’t know how much time had passed. He lost track of time a long time ago. He spent his time talking and exchanging jokes with his father. They went fishing, hiking, swimming, cave exploring. There were so many things they did.
“You feel empty, right, Leo?”
He placed his hand on his right chest and, an ache pains him from within. He was missing something. Something more important to him that the things Leo’s been doing with his father.
“I, uh, I miss Mom… And Tom and you, Dad.” The aching of his chest intensified as words kept pouring out of his mouth.
“Hush,” his father placed a finger on his lips. “I know what you want. I also know that you don’t belong here. Don’t worry, my son, for we will meet again. For now, go back to those who are precious to you.”
The seemingly unending light was engulfed with darkness. Everything around Leo became dark and, when he opened his eyes, the Destroyer was trampling on the hunters’ body as Drago and the others fought hard.
“It is only his resurrections that are standing! Let’s put an end to everything!”
Seeing how badly wounded Leo’s resurrections are, he could not help but burst into action.
“T-this feeling!” Tension rose and, the demonic aura emits from everywhere, creeping on their body. “Why, why?! Why has he come back to life?!”
“So that’s it, huh? The reason I was feeling that something was amiss, was because he still hasn’t completely evolved into Death! He was still a grim reaper! And now that we have killed him, the requirements for becoming Death has been met!”
Yet, even so, fear did not get the better of them. All five Destroyers remain rational and waited for Leo to be reborn. The crimson red sky turned matte black, filling the sky with a sea of dark clouds.
“This feeling brings back a lot of memories of the past when we fought with Death.”
“He gave us hard time but, we somehow manage to snatch away all of the Grace he had collected.”
Leo stood silently without saying anything nor did not move an inch. He scanned his surroundings and peered on his enemies. He wanted to know more but did not hear the words he wanted to hear.
“Be careful! He’s about to make his move!”
[Perfect Cube]
Leo copied and used one of the skills that were cast on him. He confined every Destroyer inside the Perfect cube he made. Sturdier and more durable than the original one.
“Just because you have finally acquired the title of Death is that you will be able to deal with the five of us here—”
The mouth was shut closed as Leo’s fist flung towards his face and, shivers ran all over his body.
“So fast!”
It wasn’t just the Destroyers’ leader that got destroyed but the entire group of them. They weren’t able to comprehend what was happening at that moment. They could not even track down Leo’s movement, for he was moving at almost the speed of light.
“Hey, guys, use your Unique Transformations! That is the only way to put up a fight against this fucking man!”
One by one, from their leader to the youngest member of the Destroyer, they all turned into a monster that no humans has ever seen.
