Overgod Of Yggdrasil - 11 NPCs View of the World
~Takes place in the second chapter~
Clan Leader Brain was reading the latest report his daughter sent back to him and was happy that their plan was on the brink of being completed; however, she sent word that her target had disappeared, making him worried, as he just hopes the Emperor of the Earth Raul, wasn’t aware of their plan or else they would be doomed.
The plan was something his daughter had come up with when she was only a thousand years old, just a teenager in human years. She was a special child that was born a DemiGod, making her the future of the clan. She had no concept of age since a DemiGod was immortal, and cannot die of old age.
He had to use seals and runes his father had created when he was alive, to restrict her power to the level Saint, so she doesn’t break the divine rule of expelling divine entities out of Earth.
The plan was to honey trap the Emperor of the Earth, making him be the father of her children, kick-starting the rise of the first divine clan with a True World God as the clans backer. Plus with her being a DemiGod, and him a True God, the children they would create would naturally be divine children. They would then slowly and surely spread their influence in the other worlds, becoming a terrifying faction that DemiGods and even True Gods would give face and respect. After all, with them having the backing of a True World God, other True World Gods would not be able to overlook them or attack them without reason. The last point was what was important to the Clan Leader Brain as he was sure if the other True World God of Earth, the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature and the World Tree realize this fact, she would destroy them to protect her son.
It’s rumored that the Mother Goddess was a mother through and through. Her children were a big part of her wellbeing, so killing people although it would tarnish her divine status, it’s a big possibility she would do it.
Clan Leader Brain with his knowledge and his status knew he would do the same thing if someone scheme against his daughter. She was the only child he had, so he was protective of her, especially when her life and death involves the rise and fall of the Mallya Clan.
All of them could fall, but the clan can’t.
On the Alliance Continent, clans were the supreme power that controls everything. There were hundreds of small clans but there were only twelve great clans who control the places with the most resources and power of the continent.
Mallya Clan was one of the twelve clans and was in the top three amongst them in power. The Mallya Clan rooted itself in the center of the continent, with the two other supreme clans. The other clans are the Blok Clan and the Fire Clan.
Because of the two other clans in close proximity to the Mallya Clan, conflict ensued.
The Fire Clan reign as the absolute boss of the continent, because the clan was comprised of Dragonborn’s. This clan was full of arrogant Dragonborns who disdain all other clans, thus as long as no one mess with them, there won’t be a problem.
Where the conflict came from was the Blok clan which was made up of Night Elves who believe themselves to be the representative of the Elven Race. Since the Mallya Clan was a Wood Elf Clan, one could see where the problem came from. The conflict between the two clans became even more strained and hostile because Leyna became the Prime Minister of the Human Continent, which means only the Fire Clan could rival them.
Being an officer of the Human Continent government, no one would dare to offend them; of course if one could kill an official without leaving behind clues, that was another story. No god would waste time to look into such a small matter, thus the reason why the Blok Clan was so overbearing.
So what if you have a DemiGod in your clan? We have DemiGods too! So what if you became an official of the Human Continent government? We have allies inside the Mother Goddess Religion!!
These two clans have been battling each other since the first generation of natives arrived on the continent. Each clan had deep and heavy ambitions; with neither willing to see the other succeed.
As he was thinking of how to resolve this issue, Clan Leader Brain looks up with shock in his eyes. Although he was inside his office in the clans compound, as a powerful Mythical Rank being, such obstacles were not able to block his vision.
The once clear and sunny skies above the clan became pitch black and ominous; as the world seem to be on the verge of collapse. Dark wind swept through the land, making all beings on the continent, tremble and look fearful of the skies.
Even the Clan Leaders of the other clans, big or small was alarmed. Even the Fire Clan who rarely made an appearance showed up and activated their supreme arrays left by their dragon ancestors, who reside in the Golden Nation.
The Fire Clan was not the supreme clan of the Alliance Continent just because they were powerful. If that was the case, all the clans could’ve decided to work together and wipe them out. The reason they are not attacked by the other clans no matter what; is because of the Ancient Fire Dragon who was said to be stronger than a True God and was also the entity who created the Dragonborn’s, Fire Clan.
Clan Leader Brain frowned as this seems quite suspicious to him. He has just thought about the next step in his plan to become the father in law to the Emperor of Earth, and this happened. If this was not a warning, he doesn’t know what was.
His frowned disappear as the skies became clear once again, returning to normal like nothing had happened. He was thinking of what kind of being or what kind of rules could’ve been broken, to cause such a scene. As even the strongest of gods couldn’t make the skies of an entire world turn black, well, maybe if they use their legendary divine authorities.
Worry emerge on his face as he looked at the Human Continent. He only hopes everything works out; because he has an uneasy feeling that it won’t.
(AN: Inside the World Tree, level 100 is considered a True God, (strongest of the God level is True World God), level 90 a DemiGod(HalfGod), level 80 a Saint, level 70 a Mythical, level 60 a Legend, level 50 a Sage, level 40 Hero, level 30 Master, level 20 Awakened, level 10 Mortals and below. This is a general placement of power inside the World Tree, it is prone to changes.)

Samuel Kern, a high noble of Human Continent, as usual, had a long and tedious day monitoring the operation of Earth Capital City, securing the taxes and writing future plans to expand upon the sole city of the Human Continent.
With the information that he gleaned today, he was sure he would have to bring this matter up to the Emperor not too far from now. The population of the city had exceeded the max limit the city could hold which was ten thousand people. Currently, it was not a problem, because the new addition to the population were babies. However, even though this brought the city sometime, another problem came up, food shortage.
With a growing population, especially young children who would need a massive amount of food to have a healthy upbringing, the food storage of the continent wouldn’t even last a year, and that was him trying to utilizing every last piece of food.
This would not have been a big problem if the Human Continent could grow and raise their own source of food, because the continent was one of the biggest ones on Earth. However, the continent was barren, with not even a blade of grass growing on it.
All the food came from either the Beast Continent or the Alliance Continent. Meat and clothing products are brought from the Beast Continent as the Barbarians would sell them for medicine and weapons. From the Alliance Continent, they get all their clothing and rare materials.
Samuel was worried about this, as he knew being over-reliant on others was bad. The only reason the other continents we’re continuing business with them was because of the Emperor of the Earth Raul. No one wanted to mess with him, however, Samuel was still uneasy about this problem.
He had asked the Emperor to make the Human Continent fertile to be able to produce its own food. But every time, the Prime Minister Leyna would interfere and the problem would not be brought up, making him disappointed in the Emperor as be could see he was easily manipulated.
A weak Emperor would only cause a strong nation to collapse.
Samuel doesn’t understand why the Emperor of Earth doesn’t simply use his divine authority to solve this problem. Oh, he digress.
According to his estimates, he had only a few more years until they would be forced to solve all these problems or else they would have a knife hanging over their heads when the problem drop from the skies.
Clink!
Samuel sat at the head of the table inside his castle, which was situated next to the Royal Palace of Earth. The Emperor had seen fit that all his nobles would be in arms reach, so he could all upon them in time of need. However, Samuel was no fool, even if the Emperor was stupid, he was still worried about the nobles becoming too powerful. It seems even gods are no exception to fear of losing power.
On his plate was a rare piece of Wyvern meat, with blood wine in a clear crystal wine glass. The wine was the condense blood of a wyverns. This food and wine possess a very good effect on the body, especially a weak human like him. If one ate enough of this food, it’s possible to increase one’s lifespan, beyond the natural limit or even cause a mutation, becoming a stronger version of one race.
The long brown table was occupied by his wife and his children. His wife was to his right, dainty eating her well-done steak. His three young children, all girls, were eating their food, showing their noble upbringing. Making him smile with pride. Although his family has lost many family members in the time of his great grandfather, as a result of his hard work over the years, he was able to bring some new people into the family, expanding and strengthening it to a high state. Nowadays only a few noble families could rival his own.
As it was customary not to talk while eating, the room was quiet, with the light sound of chewing and silverware hitting against plates.
After eating for a while, he put down his silverware, causing everyone else to stop eating and look at him.
Everyone eats when the head of the family eats and stops when they finish, only continuing when they left. This was to make the head of the family, have a higher status than the rest of the family. Basically, it was a slow kind of brainwashing, which made people more willing to obey him if they were exposed to it for an extended amount of time.
“Eliza, I plan to speak to his Majesty in the coming days. I wish to speak to him about creating a second city, making myself a City Lord, a new type of noble I deem should exist. Our status would only be second to Prime Minister Leyna and his Majesty.” Samuel said as he looks at his wife. He has always told his decision to his wife, as she was his partner and confidant who helps him create a good plan for anything he does. Sometimes he was confused of why didn’t she become an official herself, as she could reach a high level on her own. The Human Continent was not like the Alliance Continent who believe woman couldn’t amount to much. Look at the prime minister and one would understand that there was absolutely no limit to hard work and dedication. One’s imagination was the limit.
She didn’t seem surprised as she expected as much from her subtle information gathering over the last month. However, with her information, she became confused at the intention of the Prime Minister, why was she leaving her husband alone and not eliminating him from the equation? If it was her, that would be her course of action as it would make everything else easier down the line. However, she must say, even now she had no idea of what the Prime Minister’s scheme is, which made her surprise, curious and bit…fearful.
“I understand, just be careful; that Prime Minister Leyna doesn’t seem normal. I keep feeling she would find a way to stop your political advances.” She said as she wipes her mouth which had gotten a bit bloody from her medium-rare steak. She licks her lips a little, making her look intoxicating; especially when she was looking directly at Samuel in the entire process.
“I feel the same, she is not as she seems on the surface. She is like the surface of the ocean, it’s beautiful to look at from a distance but dangerous once one looks beneath the surface.” Samuel agrees as even with all his political schemes, he couldn’t get an accurate gleam of her power. She is always hiding as if she knew of his actions. Unfortunately, even though he wanted to pressure her, he couldn’t because she was extremely powerful as he learns from all his research and because she seems to be held in high esteem by the Emperor. He could belittle her but he couldn’t belittle a god.
The room became quiet once more as eating commenced. As they eat, everyone in the dining room paused and looked up, seeing a darkened skies. The skies seem to foretell the beginning of the end.
Samuel calmly and unhurriedly spoke to the servant standing in a corner, “Bring me that bottle of God’s Tears, it seems it’s a good occasion to drink it, who knows, it might be the last time have.”
The servant bowed, “As you will Lord Samuel.” The servant left and disappeared from the room quickly, slightly panicky as she looks at the skies. She never thought her first day on the job would be the day she dies. She wonders what her mistress was doing, was she scared? Or does she still have her elegant demeanor in this time of doom? Sign, if not because of her mission to collect information on High Noble Samuel Kern, she would be at her mistress side.
On the Human Continent, there were two types of nobles. High Nobles who are the first and original nobles that serve the Emperor for many generations. Low Nobles who are people that earn merit and gained their titles. These types of nobles live further away from the Royal Earth Palace, which is how commoners determine if someone was influential or not, by the distance away from the government of the continent.
Lady Eliza smiles faintly not minding the doomsday outside their little world. There was little that could cause her to frown much less frightened, “I never thought you would bring out your prize wine. If I’m not mistaken this is an item your great-grandfather got from the Supreme God as he was created to be a noble in the service of his Majesty.”
Unlike their parent’s cold indifference to life and death, the three little girls we’re shaking as the look out the window, hugging each other in fear. Only in time of danger did one learns who one’s true friends we’re, and these little girls learn they love each other greatly. Instead of rushing to their parents, they rush to each other.
“Indeed, however, it’s time for us to rise up and become someone. We have served his Majesty for generations and now it’s our time to make a bang. I wish to create my own nation.” A rare smile emerge on his face as he revealed his deepest secret. There was no point in hiding something when the world was ending after all.
The servant came back and Samuel told her to sit with them, as they drink their lives away. The servant happily took a sip to wash away her frightened state of mind.
In death, status makes no difference, because, in the end, everyone will die.
Samuel didn’t realize he dodges a bullet as the servant didn’t hear what he said about his dream, if not? It’s anyone guesses.

As the weakest of the Beast Lords, Beast Lord Crimson Cat had the smallest territory, with the least amount of beast in it. As she was a fire creature, her territory was to the far north of the Beast Continent where there many active volcanoes. She usually slept directly in the center of the largest volcano. The more she slept, the more powerful she becomes, still she was not a match for her two younger siblings.
Her younger brother, Beast Lord Slaughter was a huge white dog who had an insane speed and a terrifying aura which can influence all weaker creatures around himself, causing them to fall in a moment of madness. According to their mother, Mother Gaia, If he continued down his path, his divine authority might be either Chaos or Madness the moment he became a True God.
Her other younger brother, Beast Lord Mountainous was an island turtle which was the size of a small island. On his back was the headquarters of the Mother Goddess Religion, the sacred temple, in which the goddess slept. As an island turtle, more so, a descendant of the World Turtle, he possesses an unbreakable defense that not even True Gods without their divine authority could break.
Each of them, the Beast Lords, had an advantage over one another in one aspect or another. For example, in regenerative and firepower, she was the strongest. In defense, Beast Lord Mountainous was undefeatable, and Beast Lord Slaughter had the fastest speed and strongest killing moves.
She, the Crimson Cat, had just woken up from her deep slumber, when she felt the air change. Usually, as she slept, she felt a feeling of dullness as if everything around her was an illusion, a fake world, however, everything changed and became real as if someone put an On switch On.
She decides she must leave her ‘home’ and see the outside world since it had been ages since she last walked the land. As a result of her absence, maybe none of the current beasts know of her, not that she was worried as she could tell most of the beast we’re stupid even for a beast. They move around like soulless creatures as they eat and mate and then die, not doing anything worthwhile.
As she moves, the entire volcano shakes and quakes, with a little bit of magma flowing from the opening, making it seem it was about to erupt. She slowly clawed her way through the ‘narrow’ passage before freeing herself and reaching the surface.
It’s been so long since she had seen the pure blue skies and smelled the clean refreshing air flowing by.
She shook her body as she cleans the flowing magma off her skin. She had always hated the feeling of any kind of liquid on her skin as it made her miss the sensation of her tongue on her fur.
As she stood tall on the peak of the volcano, it made her look majestic, as she was a giant beast that was around 10 meters tall and around 20 meters long. She has orange fur that had black spirals on both sides of her stomach, with her paw being black, making her look like a dignified Beast Lord. Her eyes were reddish-orange, which made it look like the magma in her surroundings.
All of a sudden, her huge body trembled as she looks at the edge of the continent. The part of the continent that didn’t belong to any of the Beast Lords, it was free beast land.
Over there she senses a strong aura that made her mother’s aura look like a firefly to the moon. As a beast, especially a Beast Lord, she was able to easily judge how powerful someone was. That’s how most beast know who is powerful from who wasn’t. Who to attack and who not to.
Her body trembles fiercely as her instinct where telling her to run, an apocalypse was near. As if on cue, the entire skies above the Beast Continent, no, the world became blacker than the darkest colors of the abyss.
Her body laid flat on the ground as her legs didn’t listen to her orders of running away, but instead shivering. Her ears were flattened against her head, making her look pitiful. She didn’t care about how unsightly she looks as she was scared out of her mind!
Usually, since she had her brothers, she was not scared of anything. Mainly because if they work together, even a True God would not be their opponents, however, whatever she was seeing or more accurately, sensing, was far beyond a True God power level. So it was something she had to fear.
A huge rift appeared on the continent consuming many of the beasts around, causing the hair on her body to stand on end. The riff was like the mouth of a hungry beast, as it’s gaze ‘look lovely’ over its body, seeming wanting to eat her as well.
Her heart was beating like a drum, as she felt it would jump out of her chest any moment now. Her heart calm down a little as the riff reluctantly close itself and disappeared. However, before she could calm herself completely, another event happened.
A huge magical circle appeared and cause a snowstorm to hit a portion of the continent.
Crimson Fox ran back into the volcano, and decide to seal her volcano shut and not come out until a million years had gone by. She didn’t dare to stay outside any longer, as she fears for her little life.
She didn’t realize that even her brothers we’re scared shitless. If she did, she would feel a lot better alas she didn’t, so she was living in a state of fear.

Tiffany was different than her sisters as she didn’t think the same way as them. Because they were DemiGods, they decided to spread their faiths in order to obtain godhood, however, she was different. She didn’t forget her duty and become blinded by her current status as a powerful DemiGod.
Her job was to spread life to places without it, which brought her to her current problem. She had decided instead of spreading her faith she would transform one of the four other barren continents into a living one and develop a paradise on Earth. However she had been on the continent for many years and she doesn’t seem to be even close to succeeding, in fact, she couldn’t see any hope at all.
The continent was far too big and had too many rocks and materials in them which halt the growth of the plants she sows in the earth. The plants would grow normally for a few days, making the area around her look beautiful, and then wilted away, being ashes in the wind.
Because of this, Tiffany knew even a True God would be hard press to transform the continent. Only a powerful Goddess like her Mother could achieve it. With her Divine Authority over Nature, this would be an easy thing for her, however as this was her idea and self impose mission, she felt the need to do it herself.
She signed as she went back to her camping ground and decide to continue when she had a better idea of what to do. It made her feel bad not being able to spread her Mother’s divine authority over Life across the world, however, she understood she had to take it one step at a time, only then would she succeeded in her mission.
Because her camping tent has much protection, Tiffany has no idea that an event had just happened that many would later term the Apocalypse had swept the land. If she had seen it or felt it, who knew what her reaction would be?
Maybe too much protection was a bad thing?

Sitting at the bottom of the ocean, away from prying eyes, Malakai was bored as there was absolutely nothing for him to do. If it was not because of his Emperor’s orders, he would have left long ago. However the orders of the Emperor were supreme and above his own life, so he could only obey.
In the ten thousand years at the bottom of the ocean, he had not come across any creatures making him confused. Maybe the ocean was like the surface, having a little amount of life? That would explain it, however considering the reproduction ability of sea creatures, it would not take long before the ocean is filled with life.
The creatures of nature are frightening in the matter of adapting and reproducing. Especially creatures with barely any intelligence. He did find this odd, but he brushed it off as Mother Nature(Not Gaia) protecting itself by limiting what it’s children could and couldn’t do. Just imagine an army of cockroaches with intelligence rivaling that of a human was frightening. Malalai shivers a little feeling alarm by his disgusting thoughts. Now he felt no woman would want him because of his skin crawling imagination.
As the number of years he spent in the ocean was longer than many civilizations combined, Malakai became bored that he built a city below the ocean. The city was extremely large surpassing Earth’s Capital City in size but losing out in defense. The city he created had a barrier around it, which kept the ocean water from going inside, making the city a miracle of the ocean.
The city had wide roads, tall buildings and lots of room to expand on. Malakai thought grimly as he looks at the limitless ocean and signed. He had heard there were mermaids and sea people in the ocean, however, considering how large the ocean was, the chance of meeting one was slim.
If he had a wife, he wouldn’t mind bringing her to live with him, populating the city. Unfortunately, it was only a fantasy as he had no such person in his life.
He became serious as he senses tumors running through the ground, before signing. He cannot leave this place until his Emperor tells him to, so even if his Emperor was in life and death situation, he couldn’t help.
Yawning loudly, he went to his room which was in the huge palace that stood in the center of the city and went to bed. Sleeping was the best thing he could do for the time to move faster as even building things get old when one built an entire city with no one around to see it.
