The Slane Theocracy, the ones behind the attack, the ones that had tried to brainwash me, fortunately, I had my WORLD ITEM with me, otherwise, they would’ve won, at the very least, changing the way I thought, and possibly my alliances with Nazarick. The aftermath of the attack was a bit out of the picture, Zesshi the strongest warrior in the theocracy had pledged her loyalty to me, as a way to get into my bed, while Kaire had become my personal little pet, a toy for me to break, over and over again.
Now the question was, what to do with the Theocracy, I knew for a fact I could destroy them if Zesshi was their greatest warrior, but simply destroying those who had dared to even think of using me as a puppet was simply not enough, no… they had to suffer, their little nation would serve as an example to show everyone I was not to be messed with.
For now, I would wait. I had no rush, no need to push things, their days were counted, and I had my ticket to the show, “Sebas, keep an eye on the elf girl, if she does anything suspicious, kill her.” I ordered.
“As you wish, Mael-sama,” Sebas bowed.
“The butler?” Zesshi snorted.
“He can kill you easily, so behave.” I smiled, poor little elf. If only she knew how much of a small fish she really was in the depths of Nazarick.
“I see,” Zesshi giggled. I really don’t understand her, her way of thinking and acting in such scenarios baffles me.
“I’m off to Nazarick.” I rolled my eyes, teleporting out of sight.

Inside Nazarick, I walked directly to the treasury to find Demiurge and some of his demons organizing my vast collection of items. “Alastor-sama,” Demiurge bowed, a smile irking on his face as he did so, “I am glad to announce we are thirty percent done.”
“Good,” I offer him a smile, which seemed to be enough to make him happy.
“If I may, is there any reason why you are here?” Demiurge asked as politely as possible, “I was under the impression you were on a delicate mission, playing with the minds of those clearly inferior to you.”
“I was, but… in the process, some complications appeared, altering a few of my plans,” If the Slane Theocracy had a WORLD ITEM, what was to say other entities of organizations didn’t have one.
“Those… inferior beings, dared to bare their fangs at one of the supreme beings?!” Demiurge hissed, keeping his composure, albeit barely.
“They were weak,” I sighed, “but they had this,” I added, taking a very particular dress out of my inventory.
“Is… that, what I think it is?” Demiurge hesitated, and I couldn’t blame him, the dress didn’t look like much, and it had awful stats, but the power it had… was quite terrifying.
“It is. Beyond its ability as a world item, this dress is nothing but trash.” In anger, remembering what had almost happened, I tightened my grip tearing its fabric with my bare fingers, “This piece of trash, has the ability to brainwash anyone into blind loyalty, regardless of level, karma balance, or other things. Fortunately, this disgusting dress takes a while to take work… so I dealt with the situation accordingly, but…”
“But this is a wake-up call, we have to move carefully from now on,” Demiurge finished for me, “I see it now, how truly marvelous your genius is, no wonder you went to the Re-Estize Kingdom, you were moving the sharks to your bait, and they took the bait like good little fish,” at this he fixed his glasses, to make emphasis, “Now we know more about them, and the threats they represent, I am speechless…”
Wow, he’s letting himself go with those assumptions.
“To think you would put yourself a risk to test the limits of this world,” He knelt, “We are not worthy of such a leader, we are not worthy of such selfless sacrifice… but I can see why you did it… had it been anyone else, we would’ve had fall prey to the power of the world item you secured for Nazarick, you clearly foresaw with your peerless intellect… that only you had a chance if such scenario would come to happen.” I… what?
“I do what I do, for the sake of Nazarick,” I replied.
“Alastor-sama, I know none of us… can’t hope to comprehend your ideas, and that no other than Ainz-sama can… but, if I am allowed to be bold, please… use us as your pawns next time, we are here to be used… to die and fight by the orders of our Gods,” Demiurge added, his head still low.
“Very well,” I smiled. “I count on you, Demiurge… your intelligence and power will serve Nazarick more than you can possibly imagine.” If only he knew, he was quite a bit smarter than us, oh well… it’s better this way.
At this, Demiurge stood up, a tear running down his cheek, “I won’t disappoint you, Alastor-sama,” his voice carried such confidence, such finality, that I felt I had no other choice but to believe him.
“I expect nothing less,” I smiled, walking out of the treasury to meet Ainz. Not without tossing the dress back into my inventory.

[Ainz Ooal Gown POV]
Alastor had come back with grave news, someone had attacked him, and while he was unharmed in any way, I could see he was angry… no, rather I could feel it, his aura was bursting with pure wrath, and this worried me, unlike me, he had no emotion limiter, because he was pure emotion as a Fallen One. Funny enough, today I had learned my emotion limiter had a limit, for the moment he told me they had tried to brainwash him, I experienced anger for the first time since I became Ainz.
The Slane Theocracy, they would pay… for the sin of trying to hurt, my one and only friend, they would suffer a fate worst than death, of that I would make sure.
