Overlord: Multiverse - Chapter 26: Yggdrasil XXIV
Now that I was in a town, I could start with my task. Because Yggdrasil was based on many mythos, to get the racial class ‘Fallen Human,’ I had to perform a big sin.
To get this racial class, I needed to destroy a human town with all its NPCs and perform a sacrificial ritual to the goddess of the dead, Hel. By doing so, I would be able to unlock it.
After confirming; this was a beginner’s town, I left it and went into the forest. Once there, I switched to my Demon variant and started flying back.
Once there, I used a divine-class item, the ‘Aegis’, to erect a barrier around the town. This would stop them from leaving. Once that was done, I used a 10th-tier spell to kick things off.
Momonga: “*Boost Triplet Magic: Meteor Fall*!”
[MP: 123 -> 105]
Three colossal meteors manifested on top of the town and attacked it.
~BOOM~
They caused a massive explosion, which led to the death of many NPCs and Players. I kept receiving the kill notifications.
When the explosions stopped, a big part of the town was already in ruins. Without waiting, I used another 10th-tier spell.
Momonga: “*Boost Widen Magic: Void Surge*!”
[MP: 107 -> 89]
It created an outward surge of destructive energy. Killing everything in its wake. I kept receiving the kill confirmations. Upon gazing at the town’s ruins, memories resurfaced of the time I had laid waste to an entire realm for my own personal gain.
Momonga: “~Sigh~ That is in the past.”
Shaking away those thoughts, I continued raining down spells at it. After a few minutes, I stopped receiving the kill notifications, hinting that everyone in the town was already dead.
Momonga: “Time for the next part.”
I landed in the centre of the town and used an item to invoke the sacrificial ritual.
The item I was using was called the ‘Cursed Blood.’ It was a small black orb with red engraving on it. I got it whilst exploring Midgard for a few items I needed for my NPC.
This item was necessary to invoke the ritual. There were some prerequisites to invoke it, like, -500 Karma Value, human corpses, a human character, etc.
I crushed the item and got a confirmation notification.
[Are you sure you want to invoke the ‘Rit of Hel.’ [Y] or [N]]
I chose [Y], and a massive magic circle manifested below my feet, engulfing the entire town. After a few minutes, it vanished with all the corpses, and I received the notification for my new racial class.
[Your race has been converted. Human -> Fallen Human.]
With this, I became a Heteromorph. I switched to my Demon variant and flew away from the town. The devs will repopulate it after 24 hours have passed.
It was time to grind classes for this build.
~Scene Change~
To begin, I levelled up to 100 by using the ‘Experience Core.’ The next step was to choose which classes I wanted for this build.
Fallen Human was an excellent race for summoning evil beings like demons, undead, etc. So I needed to choose my classes based on this.
I decided to go with the base ‘Summoner’ job class. To get it, I needed to summon something using magic.
Typically to unlock the ‘Summoner’ job class, one needs to first get the mage class and then use any 1st-tier summoning spell, like *Summon Monster 1st*, *Summon Undead 1st*, etc. Doing so will unlock the ‘Summoner’ class.
There was another way to get it. That being using the monster data to summon it.
Luckily, the guild had monster data for a few summons. I chose Minotaur as my first summon.
I was standing within an expansive, verdant open field. In the distance, a sparse cluster of trees came into view. The sky above was unobstructed and devoid of clouds. This was the 6th floor of Nazarick, created by Blue Planet.
In the original series, it was 4 SqKm; however, owing to my intervention, it expanded to 12 SqKm.
I took out the book containing the monster data and used magic to activate it. Typically, it would require gold, but due to my racial class, ‘Fallen Human,’ I could summon low-level summons without expense.
The book vanished from my hand, while simultaneously, a small magic circle materialized on the ground before me.
Then hulking figure of a half-bull, half-man materialized on the circle, and it vanished. It was a level 20 Minotaur with crimson skin, obsidian eyes, and a colossal war hammer tightly gripped in its hands.
It was a level 15 summon, but due to my racial class, it increased to 20. I then checked my status screen.
[Available Class(s): Summoner]
I chose it and added 15 levels to it. Like Mage classes, I could learn different spells to summon various creatures. It also gave me skills to strengthen them, communicate with them, etc.
With each increase in the level of the class, It would unlock additional slots for me to learn data about the creatures I wanted to summon.
At level 15, I could summon 30 different creatures.
I still had to learn the data of the creatures. If I wanted to summon a Minotaur in the future, I had to learn its monster data. I decided to leave that for the future and looked toward the advancement of the class.
[Available Class(s): High Summoner, Monster Summoner]
I decided to use the monster data of a skeleton to unlock the ‘Undead Summoner’ class.
After summoning it;
[Available Class(s): High Summoner, Monster Summoner, Undead Summoner]
I kept using the monster data of different creatures to unlock more classes. In the end, I had;
[Available Class(s): High Summoner, Monster Summoner, Undead Summoner, Demon Summoner, Insect Summoner, and Chaos Summoner.]
After choosing some classes, levelling them up, and repeating the process a few times. I was now a level 100 Summoner.
My status looked like this. Unfortunately, there weren’t any powerful hidden classes for summoners.
…

Each of the different classes gave boosts to my summoned creatures. And now, I could learn the monster data for 300 summons.
I could increase this number by performing a dark ritual. But that needed Player corpses.
But I wasn’t in a rush. I planned to increase the number later.
Momonga: “~Sigh~That’s another build off the list.”
~Scene Change~
I teleported to the meeting room. There, a few members of the guild had already gathered.
Touch: “Welcome, Momonga-san.”
I nodded and sat in one of the seats. Today, we were planning on raiding a high-level dungeon to get materials for the guild weapon.
After discussing some matters, we all gathered our supplies and ventured to the dungeon. It took us a few hours to get there.
The dungeon was a flying island; covered in a lush forest. Its name was ‘Helios Summit.’ A level 100 dungeon; recommended for a party of 10 level 100 Players.
Once beneath it, Ancient One used a 5th-tier spell to make us fly toward the dungeon.
Ancient: “*Boost Maximize Magic: Mass Fly*.”
A blue light covered our bodies, and we started flying toward the dungeon.
I was using my Human Variant for this raid. I hadn’t utilized the elemental spells extensively before. Thus, on this occasion, I opted to exclusively rely on them.
The whole island was covered in a lush forest; only plant-type monsters spawned here. For the raid;
I was the leader and one of the mages; the vanguard included Touch Me, Warrior Takemikazuchi, Bukubukuchagama, Tabula, and Beast King Mekongawa. While Pero, Yamaiko, Genjiro and Garnet acted as support.
Momonga: “Let’s get started.”
I used a 7th-tier spell *Nature’s Sense*, which allowed me to scan an area around me. This only works if I am in a forest.
This spell provides details regarding monsters, Players, items, and more within the scanned region.
[MP: 100 -> 95]
Momonga: “There are 5 level 85 Treants to the south, about 50 meters. 2 Level 80 Geogolems on to our right, about 65 meters. I’ll take the golems, and you deal with the Treants.”
Saying this, I turned to my right and started walking. Soon, I entered a clearing in the forest.
There 2 Geogolems were wandering around. They had hulking figures of stone, green vines spread around their bodies, and glowing yellow eyes. They had the power to manipulate the earth and had high defences.
I used an 8th-tier spell to start the fight.
Momonga: “*Boost Maximime Twin Magic: Corrosive Orbs*.”
[MP: 96 -> 88]
Two orbs of a sickly green liquid manifested before me and attacked the golem.
As the orbs struck the golems, I used another spell.
Momonga: “*Boost Magic: Gravity Field*.”
[MP: 88 -> 82]
A 10th-tier spell, able to increase gravity in a small area. The golems were pushed down to the earth, unable to move.
Without waiting for the *Gravity Field* to end. I used another spell.
Momonga: “*Boost Magic: Earth Spikes*.”
A 9th-Tier spell, able to make spikes made of rock in a small area.
As the spikes struck the golems, they disappeared into motes of light, and I received the kill notification.

[65,000 EXP has been stored in the ‘Experience Core.’ Remaining Space: 10,065,000 / 15,000,000]
I collected the loot and went back to my party. Touch Me was also able to kill the Treants.
Momonga: “Let’s head deeper.”
Everyone nodded, and we started venturing deep into the forest. The monsters we defeated were at the start of the dungeon.
The powerful monsters resided deep in the dungeon. I was continuously using *Nature’s Sense* in a small area.
After walking for a few minutes, I detected a small horde of level 80 Blossom Serpents. They were serpent-like creatures with vibrant flower-like patterns on their scales. They had relatively low HP and Defenses for their level. But they were experts at camouflage and were able to release pollen that could induce paralysis. Without wasting time, I used an 8th-tier spell.
Momonga: “*Boost Maximize Magic: Corrosive Gale*.”
[MP: 86 -> 80]
A green-coloured gale materialized before me and engulfed the Blossom Serpents. Due to their low HP and Defenses, my spell was able to kill them.

Momonga: “Let’s keep moving.”
I collected the loot the Blossom Serpents dropped and continued our journey.
Our goal for the raid was to collect the loot dropped by the mini-bosses and the dungeon’s boss.
We kept traversing the dungeon for the coming hour. During this, we came across many monsters. This dungeon also gave me some inspiration for the 11th and 8th floors of the Nazarick.
