Overlord Of Goldema - Chapter 18
She was sitting on a stone down the beach, her head in her hands and sobbing, she was crying loudly and cursing herself about how she was an idiot and that Gold never actually loved her and only used her.
I disagree,” Gold said sitting down next to her. She turned and was surprised to see Gold, “I care for you and I don’t think you are an idiot, what type of master I would be if I was like that?”
“You were kissing her on the lips, you never do that with me-,” He pushed her down onto her back and pressed his lips against hers. She had wide eyes the entire time and when he moved away from her he smiled looking over her, “Master, do you love Camille?” Gold nodded, “Do you love me?” He smiled and nodded again, “Thank you!” She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him towards her, “I thought you didn’t? Did you lie to me master?”
“Um, well,” He scratched his head.
“I don’t care,” She pulled him into another kiss, “Are you sleeping with me? Or with her tonight?”
“Um, I assume, you,” He stammered, “I think that it would be safer for you, and I will give her some time to get her things so that we can get going tomorrow, I wonder when we are going to find Nikholas, hopefully not random, I would hope he would polish his entrance,” He laughed and got off of Miia, “Now, are you still sad?” She shook her head, “I can kiss her, it doesn’t mean I hate you or don’t care for you, now, enough talking about that, let’s go back to the others.”
They walked back to the camp and noticed Camille and Daryu Boros standing with Daryu Boro’s axe summoned. She put her hand on his shoulder and closed her eyes and focused. He stood still as she tried to cast a spell. She removed her hand and sighed, nothing had happened. She tried it again and still nothing happened. She sighed and gave up, sitting down next to the fire. She began crying with her head in her hands. Daryu Boros sat down next to her and tried comforting her.
“Don’t worry about that, maybe tomorrow you will be able to cast Ancestral Protection,” She leaned against him and gently cried, “Don’t worry, don’t worry.”
“Camille,” She looked up and saw Gold and Miia, “Maybe try casting something weaker than the elfic tier 5, maybe tier 3 or tier 2 would be easier,” He gestured for Diamyo Boros to stand and placed his hand on his shell, “Elfic Tier 5, cast Ancestral Protection,” His shells glowed with an emerald color, “Have you ever pronounced the spell?” She looked at him in shock, “I can cast race magic, even if I am not of that race.”

“B-but h-how? Why can you?”
“Remember who my father is,” He smiled then yawned, “I think we should sleep, maybe you should go to your place and gather your things, Camille.”
“I think I will, but you need to show me how to cast my race spells tomorrow.”
“Sure thing,” He said as he removed his robes and put them next to the sleeping bag with his mask, “Come on, Miia,” She nodded and crawled into the tent. He closed the curtain that was the door to the tent and Camille looked at Daryu Boros pointed at the tent.
“For heat,” Daryu Boros laughed, “She is cold-blooded apparently.”
“Well, see you tomorrow morning!”
“Good night,” Daryu Boros said as she left the camp.
“Master, can you move your hands please?”
“Oh, sorry,” He said as he squeezed her boobs, she lurched backwards, “Do you like that?”
“M-master, stop, please,” She let out a sigh of relief when he stopped, “Where are we going tomorrow? I didn’t know there was something to do.”
“I don’t know, I think we should be trying to find Nikholas and maybe a few things to fight,” He smiled as she turned to face him, smiling, “I knew you would like that, well, sleep well,” He kissed her cheek and closed his eyes.
“Goodnight.”
Gold woke up early in the morning. Miia had rolled him onto his back and had fallen asleep over him. He was too lazy to get up and waited there for a little time, looking up at her as she gently moved in her sleep. He smiled and passed his hand through her hair and then gently caressed her cheek. She reacted unconsciously by pressing her head to his chest. He hugged her as she slowly woke up.
“Good morning, Miia,” He said as she rubbed her eyes and stretched, “Sleep well?”
“Master, did you move me on top of you?” She said as she climbed off of him, “You are a pervert, master.”
“Actually, you rolled me over, so you know, I could say the same thing to you,” He smiled as he sat up and she blushed and looked down at the sand and tapped her claws together, “It is fine with me, let’s prepare breakfast and get going,” She brushed her hair with her claws and looked at her reflection in the scales on her hand. Gold walked out of the tent and sat on the stone near the extinguished fire pit, “Good morning, Daryu Boros.”
“Good morning, my lord,” He said as Miia followed Gold out of the tent, “Good morning, Miia,” He sounded cold, but Miia simply smiled at him.
“Hi!” Gold turned and saw Camille walking down the path with a large backpack, “How are you guys?” She turned to Gold, “Good morning, master.”
“You have your thing?”
“I guess I have the most important things,” She said, “If you want, we could get a carriage for the travelling, I can go ask for one, master.”
“Sit down, we can do that later,” He said as he began eating, “Eat some, then we will leave to the next city,” Miia leaned her head on his shoulder, “Miia, here, eat.”
“Thank you, master,” She said as she took the bowl and began eating, “Are we going to stay in an inn? Like, with an actual bed? Or something?”
“I guess, if we can have a first floor room with enough space for Daryu Boros, or like have a stable spot,” Daryu Boros shrugged.
“The next town in near a cyclops den,” Daryu Boros said, “They might have caused more trouble since I left, I saved the town once with my men but we didn’t kill them all but now I hope we could find their treasure, legend has it, my lord, that cyclops hid treasure and cadavers in their caves in the center of their territory, we could probably refill our funds.”
“And help that town,” Gold added, “You know why we are here, right?”
“Actually, master, I wanted to ask you why your father brought us here.”
“Well, maybe I should start explaining,” Gold sighed and finished his bowl, “So, I have to start some time back, before this realm, when we lived peacefully in Terruna, remember those days? Well, before that Terruna, before he made me, there was another Terruna and its sister realm, Runatra, they lived in isolation but with blank destinies, a man destroyed Terruna and used his absorbed powers to challenge my father but a man stopped him, I think his name was Omega, but that isn’t important. My father had to rebuild it but later, the god of evil that was made along with the god of good to take care of the new Terruna as he built this realm, but the god of evil failed and caused the destruction of Terruna. Instead of rebuilding Terruna, father wiped it and gave me the job of taking care of this realm, but I need to find all of my servants.”
“All of us?” Miia asked as she lifted her head and looked at him, “Why? But why wouldn’t he just put us all together when we came here?”
“Well, I need to get support from the people here, not just show myself as Overlord and force them under my hand, but instead I wear this and I use the legend that father implanted here to slowly gain power,” He said putting on his mask, “I joined the Guild system to have a name and recognition by the people but I think we need to travel to protect villages, people and try to make a name for ourselves, then we can settle once people know what we have done for them and I can announce that I am in fact, Overlord, not Sir Gold, oh and quick thing, you guys can’t die.”
“What do you mean?”
“If I am alive, you can’t die, if I die, you die along with me and we fail our mission here and return to father’s realm, and probably have to restart.”
“Oh, okay then, maybe we should get a carriage and get going then,” Camille said as she got up, “We can’t spend years doing this, well, hopefully not.”
“Well, then let’s get going.”
The carriage wheels softly bounced on the uneven path as Daryu Boros walked next to it. Camille sat behind in the covered carriage and Miia was lying down, resting her head on his lap and sunbathing as the horses pulled the carriage along the dirt path.
“Master, how long until we stop for lunch?”
“I don’t know,” He said looking up at the sky, “In an hour or something, the sun will peak soon, so soon, don’t worry, I will help you with your spells, I hope I can still teach you, but hopefully being a succubus doesn’t stop you from using your elfic race magic,” He turned and smiled at her, she looked sad, “Come on, please don’t be sad, we don’t know even if you can or not use magic.”
