Overpowered System! - Chapter 121:Home at last.
The planet Mother was huge, and now Lie Wei Ying could examine the stats of all things around him.
It was sort of like when he was in the game system, but it was now with cultivation levels instead of actual levels. And to use it, he had to activate it with commands. Regardless, he was happy to get the game subsystem. He had a feeling if he stayed in the game that he would’ve acquired it. Yet he still received it from a weird man.
Now, though, the Grim reaper was next to Lie Wei Ying and they both flew at 1/50th the speed of light. Ember village, where he grew up, was roughly one million miles away. Consider that speed, when he did the math, he should’ve arrived in six minutes, but it took longer.
When he arrived, ten minutes had passed by, and he felt an ominous sense of doom when he landed. But the malevolent feeling was short lived. With his sharp vision he spotted his mother outside a huge mansion. It seemed that they had moved after he left them gifts.
“Whoosh!”
….
Wang Lie and Wang Yi were outside.
Lie Wei Ying’s dad was currently training, while Lie Wei Ying’s mom was faced towards her husband.
“So… it’s been over a week honey,” Wang Ye watched the man practice his moves.
He was currently in front of a gigantic pole made out of velasian steel. Every kick sounded like a bell, and was amplified by his sheer determination.
“I know, and I only have fived years left until the grim reaper arrives honey…”
Wang Yi looked over at Wang Lie and nodded her head. “Yes, but maybe when Lie Wei Ying comes back, we can tell him about his name?”
Wang Lie sighed and looked up at the clouds. He felt a horrifying feeling spread through his body before a blade instantly appeared in his hand. This blade was a part of him and helped him increase his cultivation level insanely quickly.
Basically, he was already at the Emperor stage after a week of training, and cultivating a legacy art.
In order to get it, he went on a journey to the Seven King’s Continent. It was a pilgrimage that only lasted three days, but since then his power had soared.
Regardless, right now, he didn’t feel strong. He felt his knees quivering as an illusion of power, coming at him at a swift speed, neared his location fast.
“Honey, go inside now—”
He swung his sword forward after calling it out. But what surprised him most was the small hand in his way.
Lie Wei Ying had just arrived and gripped the sword with his two fingers.
“This is a nice weapon, dad,” Lie Wei Ying said with a smile. At this moment, the Grim Reaper was behind Lie Wei Ying with his hands up.
The Grime Reaper joined in. “… I would’ve been the one you had to worry about, but now I’m serving your son. Under our contract I can—”
“Grim… Now isn’t the time to talk,” Lie Wei Ying said as he held out his arms.
In slow motion, he saw the crevices on his parent’s mouths turn from down to up. His dad immediately dropped his sword and embraced his son as his mother ran over to join.
“…Lie Wei Ying… It’s so good to see you,” he said locking him into his arms with a ginormous hug. Wang Lie also ended up with two others in his arms. The Grim Reaper was pulled over by Wang Ye and he also ended up with Lie Wei Ying’s dad’s arms around him.
Considering that he was going to kill him it felt weird hugging him. But at the same time he was very happy to be part of this hug.
Regardless, they spent a few minutes hugging since it had been such a long time. After a moment, though, Lie Wei Ying looked curious at his dad. His arms seemed stronger than he remembered, and he couldn’t help but examine him using the new game subsystem he’d acquired.
It showed up just like it used to.
Wang Lie
Cultivation: Emperor Stage (5)
Strength: 80
Agility: 100
Dexterity: 30
Intelligence: 25
Energy: 30
Lie Wei Ying was somewhat shocked seeing his dad’s stats. At the same time, he was also disappointed no Hp was shown. Basically, it wasn’t a perfect subsystem, and because of the fact that he took it from a dead version of himself, he didn’t know what it could fully do yet.
Wang Yi interrupted his train of thought with a question.
“So… you have to tell me why you look so tall, Lie Wei Ying… and why do you smell like girls?” She noticed six distinct fragrances coming from Lie Wei Ying’s shirt. He was only at most four years old, but he smiled and shook it off.
“Mom, it’s nothing. I just met a few friends on my journey. We shared a training bed together a few nights ago, and their smell has yet to fade from my body.”
Wang Lie and Wang Yi looked at each other, and then spun Lie Wei Ying a few times. They weren’t sure if this was their son, or how old he was, because he just said he was in a bed with six girls.
“Well, anyway son, you have a lot of stories to tell us…”
“I do, so let’s go inside. Also, Feng Ji… please protect this mansion while we’re inside. I think someone might have been following us.”
Basically, Lie Wei Ying had noticed an aura behind them not too long time ago. And as they walked into the mansion, he kept a few dragon ice clones waiting on the perimeter.
….
Blue 536 was with Blue 681 and they were bored waiting in the sky.
“Hmph, if I was made first 536, you would see me with my eyes closed!”
681 crossed his four arms together, and like a spider spread his arms and wiggled his hands in anger.
“Well… I’m only going to be around till I melt… You can at least let me enjoy the sun.”
“Hmph, yes… that sounds like a good idea 681… I’ll just watch out for whatever that thing is the main one was talking about…”
The hundred blue ice clones surveyed the perimeter as Lie Wei Ying sat down on a comfy couch. It was a nice pleasant mansion they had moved into, on a hill side, but the most notable thing was the lack of visitors. He felt an impatience riding through his body as the ice clones spread out in the air searching for that one threat he had felt.
Yet at this moment, he had one burning question.
“Dad… why are you so strong,” He said as he examined the house. It was a nice place, and they seemed to have done well in a week.
Wang Lie responded as he gripped the blade off the bed. “…Ah… it was because of this sword… I got it on a pilgrimage… Some man with a crown on his back gave it to me… He told me if I use it I would be a knight like no other…” He handed the sword to Lie Wei Ying.
Lie Wei Ying looked at it and then handed the blade back. He responded after giving some thought to that feeling that was worrying him.
“It didn’t look like a floated crown, did it?” Lie Wei Ying said and walked over to the sword and picked it up. “If you took this sword from someone that powerful dad—”
“Whoosh.”
A chilling gust spread through the air as Lie Wei Ying felt a strange feeling run through his gut. In that moment, all hundred of his ice clones were destroyed, and a cold mist shocked all the residents in ember village.
The Grim Reaper arrived in the living room of the new house, but it wasn’t intentionally. His scythe was flared upward against the visitor clenching at his neck. One blade was against the scythe, another around his neck, and the other two pointing over towards Lie Wei Ying and his dad.
“Ah… so… the family reunion I’ve been waiting for has finally arrived.”
He squeezed the Grim Reapers neck tightly with his eyes blood shot and swollen.
