Overpowered System! - Chapter 122:Talisman Lords.
“Ah, Lie Wei Ying, please come outside with me. I really don’t want your family to suffer because of you.” He was holding Feng Ji’s neck so tight that he was starting to turn as white as his skull mask.
His hands were huge and he had a tremendous transcendent energy, but his clothes seemed out of this world.
He, also, possessed a sort of arrogance in his voice, and Lie Wei Ying humored him by going outside.
There were quite a few men waiting for him there, and each of them had saint marks on their backs.
Ember village was below them on the hill side. It, at this moment, seemed like diamonds were raining down onto the earth, but really that was his dragon-ice clones. He felt guilty for them and crunched his fist.
“…So, why are you all here?”
Lie Wei Ying had his [Extremely Op swords of the inferno] on his back but felt like he shouldn’t attack as of yet. He’d never seen so many saint immortals in the same place.
There was roughly one hundred men with saint marks spinning behind their backs, and ninety percent of them had chosen the path of the warrior over the path of the kingdom. That may have not been the actual name for it, yet there were swords hovering behind their backs.
They all looked towards the man who had just dropped the Grim Reaper.
Feng Ji’s silver hair bounced on the ground as he wiggled his hand outwards.
“…I’m sorry, Lie Wei Ying…” He felt horrible for failing his new master, but these men could crush him in a minute. Even with his best effort, all he was able to do was not move in order to prevent Lie Wei Ying any trouble.
“Hmmm, so you all haven’t answered me… Why are you here?”
The crowd was around him and they all started laughing.
“Heh… if you’re really as strong as the tribulation committee says, we’re here to offer you a deal. However, if you’re not, we’re going to have to kill you…”
Lie Wei Ying just got home and really didn’t want to have to deal with this. “Uhm, I guess I’m pretty strong, but what of it? Do you all want to die, or do you think you’ll be able to beat me?” He slowly drew his inferno swords before the inferno image bloomed into the sky.
“Ha… yes, kill them master,” He nearly barked and then suddenly his took physical form.
Remember, the inferno could use 50 percent of Lie Wei Ying’s power for 10 seconds in his physical form. He knew Lie Wei Ying wanted him to guard his family, and only one blade remained in Lie Wei Ying’s hands.
He quite liked dual wielding, but now he was gripping his gigantic sword with both hands. He pointed it towards the one saint immortal king.
“Ah… you’re confident, Lie Wei Ying. We’re bounty hunters, though, and your bounty is worth an entire alternate dimension… We’ve been wanting to get our hands on our own dimension for a while. Isn’t that right Silly?”
“Yes, we’ve been wanting it for a while King, and if we can kill you we’ll get it. However, the chancellors of the universe gave us an alternate deal, and we’ll also get an alternate dimension. All you have to do is enter into time acceleration and grow up. They believe if you do that you’ll no longer be as much of a threat.”
Lie Wei Ying laughed. “Ha, are they scared of a little potential?”
The man who was nicknamed Silly put his finger to his mouth and then shook his head. “You actually don’t understand what you’ve done by being alive for so long… Anyway, we got to try and kill you now, while our talisman lords try and trap you in the alternate dimension. Do you have a problem with that?”
He shook his head and then unleashed his transcendent domain.
“I’ve been wanting to use this for a long time, but you guys are the first to see it.”
His transcendent domain was a first grade domain, and was considered a peak domain out of all domains. In his brief moment of contemplation mode, as he was sitting down musing on the stars before the tribulation, he saw a path to the center of the universe.
It was there where he discovered a small ball. It was a very beautiful shape, and he liked it. This ball was not complete though, and in his mind he shaped it into something that resembled a star.
After that, during his brief contemplation, he still wasn’t satisfied. Eventually, it ended up looking like a dragon, and then a crane. Eventually, it was truthfully just him, but not exactly. He unleashed it then and out of him came a series of shimmering men. Some of them appeared to me made of black matter, but they were different manipulations of gravity.
By being in their proximity you’d be affected, and that was why he called it the white star transcendent domain.
In it were the laws of space and time as well as a slew of other things he learned in that one moment. They shot forward as hundreds of other transcendent domains were birthed. Yet then Lie Wei Ying slammed his hand down.
“Boom x 100,000 (1)”
The ground seemed to distort as his domain fully activated. What seemed like shadows scurried forward to bind all the men around him. This transcendent domain of his could be both physical and intangible. They swam towards the men’s shadows as the rest of the domains started to clash with his.
Transcendent domains came in a lot of varieties, and all these man had developed them. One of them was using lightning to create doppelgangers of himself. They slammed into the star forms of Lie Wei Ying, and sparks flew causing explosions in the city.
In one brief moment though, Lie Wei Ying and the group had ascended a hundred miles in the sky.
If you were below in Inferno City, it started looking like fireworks were exploding, or perhaps even planets. They awoke the sleeping elders in the temples, and stirred some of the school children awake at Lie Wei Ying’s old elementary school.
“Congratulations, the game subsystem has been analyzed and 3 new moves have been learned.”
“Last Play Attack.”
“Fisherman’s Spear summoning.”
“I’m a Pig Transformation.”
Lie Wei Ying was somewhat caught of guard by that message. His muscles bulged and he slammed down his hand so fast making a temporary floor out of air. It was so much pressure that the clouds dispersed.
“Whoosh!”
At him came the hundred men from all sides. His domain surrounded him and burst outward meeting with the hundred other domains.
“Boom!”
The men shockingly flew backwards before Lie Wei Ying started noticing a chant.
‘What exactly was a talisman lord,’ he wondered, but it was hard to truly grasp. In the distance he noticed a few men chanting but didn’t think much of it.
“You’re all ridiculous if you think this can kill me,” Lie Wei Ying said scoffing at their efforts.
Most of these men had 2nd rate domains, and only one had a domain that was giving his trouble. That was the domain made out of lightning, but it would still fall to the gravity given by the white star domain. Even lightning, apparently, when applied enough mass too would crack and sizzle.
Yet, he heard laughter.
“Ha… we’ll we don’t got to kill you!” Er Feng slammed his blade at Lie Wei Ying. He was the Saint Immortal that had grasped the Grim Reaper by the throat moments ago. He was waiting for the chanting to stop, and in three more seconds it would.
The fireworks were appearing so fast above the city that now it almost seemed like an earthquake. It shook the mountains and startled all the towns folk.
This was especially true for a girl Lie Wei Ying had not seen in a long time. She was on a swing brooding on a tree before she noticed a familiar sensation.
This girl was someone from his past life, and she produced a microsystem using her skill in computers. After hundreds of years, she was able to teleport to this dimension and took the body of Lie Wei Ying’s child hood friend.
However, her microsystem was not complete. She would need to build a macrosystem to even get it to resemble an actual system like the one Lie Wei Ying used. Unfortunately, all she could here and see was the sound of slaughter.
Lie Wie Ying chopped into the flesh of Er Feng surprising everyone around. Blood shot out of his body before it disintegrated from the heat on Lie Wei Ying’s body.
“You’ve just activated Death Form from the SDS subsystem. Power amplified by 10% for three minutes.”
Lie Wei Ying was burning with a black flame on his body and had a mask covering his face.
Next, he activated [lightning dragon’s acceleration] and started slicing through the pack.
