Overpowered System! - Chapter 125:A Strange Place.
Lie Wei Ying was still at the table when the puppets started moving.
One of them actually was a chancellor of the universe named Charisma, and he was in charge of the acceleration world.
As he looked in from his throne room, a few women were serving him grapes and he was eating them while floating in the air. The festivities he had planned for Lie Wei Ying were random, but this show wasn’t. It was meant to be a clue for Lie Wei Ying about why he chose to trap him.
Lie Wei Ying’s code name was known as ‘prodigy’ to the chancellors of the universe. He was so talented it caused problems with the seven reigning kings. He was the only one ruler neutral in his stance to Lie Wei Ying. After all, when he was born he had no talent and had been ridiculed by Fate from the tribulation committee.
He was a small boy up against the gigantic world. Every where he went, he felt normal. It was almost like he was a feather on the back of a gigantic seagull that was life. When he was young, he had blown away and fallen to the bottom of the ocean.
However, when he got older the water of his home planet had saturated him and imbued him with courage. In a defiance to the tribulation committee he established an alternate realm for the chancellors to live and managed galaxies 17 – 335, which contained the current Lie Wei Ying.
With him, he took the six chancellors who were all geniuses among geniuses. They were so smart that the hard-working Charisma felt irritated as he meditated every moment. On the other hand, they’d meditate for an hour a day, and all of them beat him to the monogod stage.
When he thought about this, he knew these men would take issue with Lie Wei Ying.
“Give me another grape, and pass me the recording,” Charisma said and bite down on a grape seed.
“…I am yours master… please wait…”
She walked over and put down the grapes on a golden table. In a second, she was back and nearly dropped the recording he was talking about. This was actually just a puppet in her hands. Even so, it had a message that he worked painstakingly on.
“…Don’t drop it Sun Chang! Hurry and give it to me!”
Sun Chang dropped the puppet anyway.
….
Lie Wei Ying talked with Mei Li.
In the cafés corners of the room, the other guests would shift quickly, but he stayed.
It had been three hours since he entered the café, and the buildings outside were spinning behind the puppet show.
There was no need for him to worry though, as the coffee was delicious. It seemed like all he could do was eat and admire the beauty that was Mei Li.
Her green shirt had her name tag on it, and she had a red cap on her head. What was interesting was that Lie Wei Ying was already four inches taller.
“Well… the show was supposed to start, Lie Wei Ying, but you can come back another time.” Mei Li pointed Lie Wei Ying towards the door before he went outside and found himself in the grass.
A moment later, a man was beside him holding a puppet.
“Here… when you’re finally adult, I hope you come visit me, Lie Wei Ying.” He put the puppet in Lie Wei Ying’s hands and then pat him on the back.
Sun Chang had broken the puppet, but it would tell him the story in one day.
Lie Wei Ying, however, was now in the acceleration world until he grew up. By the time he could look at the puppet, he’d be seven years old, which was only in one day.
A second later, a gigantic sign appeared in front of Lie Wei Ying. It was a fork and what seemed like a string on his back was cut.
“Huh ho hu ho…” He breathed in and out feeling his consciousness return. The entire time O.P. was screaming at him when he could have been meditating.
….
The two directions of the fork in the road led to two different paths.
Lie Wei Ying, now conscious, looked back at the café wishing to see Mei Li again.
In just a moment, though, that same waitress was by his side holding another plate of cake.
“…Ah, you thought about me Lie Wei Ying? Are you hungry my master?”
Lie Wei Ying grabbed Mei Li by the shoulders and pulled her in closely. He hugged her and felt her pointed pearly spheres rub against his body.
“I’m so sorry for leaving you guys, but I got ahead of myself.”
“…You shouldn’t be sorry. In fact, if I were you, I’d be happy and just eat cake. Your body needs energy Lie Wei Ying. You’re growing so fast…”
Lie Wei Ying angrily shook her causing her beautiful blonde hair to blow up in the wind. A second later she disappeared and left behind a plate of food with a card.
“If you need food, just think about me… Enjoy your journey in the acceleration world.”
Lie Wei Ying this entire time was completely under the spell of the Acceleration world. If it had been any other chancellor, they wouldn’t have let him be conscious. In fact, they’d prefer to kill Lie Wei Ying instead, but their leader was the normal ‘punk’ named Charisma.
If he wasn’t so good at talking, they would’ve never allowed Lie Wei Ying to dwindle his talent in an acceleration world. After all, they figured he was strong because of his young age. How many people could be reborn again and again in their childhood bodies? If they went through the same scenario, they’d be smarter than the geniuses they were! So, they felt threatened by him, but accepted their leader’s request.
Regardless, at this moment, Lie Wei Ying now fully sane, looked out at the world.
He hadn’t seen a modern city in over fifty years, not since he saw his favorite teacher, Della. However, he didn’t’ know why he was thinking about her now. Fifty years was along time especially when it was fourteen lives ago.
At the time, he was older than he was now, and he wouldn’t reach that age for another two days, which was scary to think about. He had never felt intense growing pains like this, but he still flew into the city and came across a strange site.
There were a few beasts sitting on top various buildings and all had saint marks. However, their was also ships with large guns floating all around him, and he heard a strange noise like from a movie with guns.
“Boom!”
He put his hand on his back before a bamboo stick appeared in his hand.
A second later he flipped upwards and pressed his feet into a windowed building. The glass, just like it would in real life, exploded from his supremely past super-sonic speed.
The red lasers shot into the building before he tried to activate his transcendent domain. However, as he did he felt himself pulled towards the ground.
“Boom!”
The man who he had just seen earlier Charisma caught him sinking his feet into the ground. He sighed and grabbed the puppet from his pocket checking to see if the thing worked yet.
In order to do so, he shook it a few million times in less than a millisecond. Unfortunately, the thing wasn’t working so he sucked up his pride and pointed at the ground.
“Whoosh!”
The grass blew up into the air and the monsters waited at attention.
A few words appeared in front of Lie Wei Ying as the Chancellor held him up by the head.
“No Powers”
He sighed and decided against telling him anything else. At the next moment, he threw him into the pack of monsters hoping Lie Wei Ying figure it out. After all, his intelligence was growing by the second.
Lie Wei Ying looked at the bamboo stick in his hand and sighed. It would’ve been nice if it was a sword.
