Overpowered System! - Chapter 126:Using the Terrain.
Lie Wei Ying with his bamboo stick in hand looked imposing. He had never used a spear, for the most part, and was like a terrifying missile shooting through the sky.
The monsters in the saint immortal realm were hard to fight, but this was especially true with a bamboo stick.
Considering that he was only four feet three inches tall at this moment and was now six years old, it was difficult. He felt somewhat stronger then before. He’d been fighting these monsters for roughly half a day.
In this half a day, he had occasionally come in contact with these figments of his imagination. He didn’t know what was real in this city, but the sky seemed real enough as did the planet below him.
Occasionally, the monsters with their green spikes would wield new weapons. He felt himself extremely focused as he flew towards the green, ginormous beast. However, in front of that beast was a little girl holding a doll and she smiled at Lie Wei Ying.
Obviously, he recognized this girl because of her brunette hair. This was Yu Yan, and she was in her child form.
He flew even faster as he watched the small girl smile widely at him. She looked so small compared to the gigantic monster above her. However, Lie Wei Ying was feeling frightened as teeth as big as her head swallowed her instantly.
“I’m no longer yours Lie Wei Ying, I’m sorry, but I must go.”
Lie Wei Ying seemed to defy all logic as an unknown energy appeared around his body. He’d never used this energy before and the space started cracking from the sheer worry he felt!
He was being watched at every moment, and Charisma sighed before he sent billions of spears at the boy.
“Boom x 1,000,000,000”
Lie Wie Ying crashed into the floor and blasted a hole into the ground. Once again, he got out of it finding a new world growing from that hole. It was almost like every time he was close to a breakthrough such a thing would happen.
….
Charisma sighed entering the acceleration world for the fourth time.
He was peeved because this boy kept trying to use powers. ‘Didn’t he get it the last three times?’ He imagined it wouldn’t be impossible for this boy to figure out. However, for someone that used to be dumb, he didn’t seem that different than before!
“…You… if you rely on just breakthroughs Lie Wei Ying, what’s going to happen down the road?”
Charisma picked up Lie Wie Ying and sent a gust of wind to wipe off the dust.
He could be anything he wanted in this world, but chose to be a sort of teacher. After all, Lie Wei Ying sacrificed 16 years of maximum potential, and he should at least make his time a bit worthwhile.
Cruelty and Kindness went hand in hand when you were in a high seat of power.
Being in power required you to support your enemies, while at the same time trying to kill them behind their backs. This was the case in many domains of life. You had to align yourself with everyone, and choose who to protect. He, unfortunately, couldn’t see himself ever as Lie Wei Ying’s true ally. However, he wouldn’t mind if the tribulation committee dealt with him first.
His plan was simple, and that was to train this boy into a killer. If he was strong enough to kill the tribulation committee, at that time he could offer a truce. Truthfully, he’d prefer anyone over the tribulation members currently in power! Even so, he didn’t want this boys stay here to be pleasant.
Basically, Lie Wei Ying was dealing with a Monogod for the first time in his existence. A true monogod was in front of him that had creation laws at hand. With it, he was able to create this world, and also utilize the profundities of space and light! If he wanted to, he could move millions of time faster than light even challenging creation itself!
“You’re foolish… you don’t know how to use your brain even in battle… If you keep breakingthrough all the time, what’s going to happen when someone is too much stronger than you… Have you ever learned to stop and think?”
“…Yu Yan… I couldn’t think because… she’s dead…”
Charisma sighed before he grabbed Lie Wei Ying and plopped him down on a bench. They were now a small city inside of a park. There were dogs sniffing bushes and men and women holding hands while the birds chirped. Overall, it was a lovely day in this park, but the sky was notably red rather then blue.
“Boy, she didn’t die… but you can’t just breakthrough without a reason… If you want to breakthrough, do it because you trained! I don’t know if you realize this, but someone could use your breakthroughs against you… In that one second you broke through, do you realize the surge in your confidence?”
Lie Wei Ying nodded his head as a couple passed by with a baby in their stroller. They were holding plastic coffee cups and sipping it while examining their baby together.
“…I…I can’t be blamed for caring about the people I love. If I truly listened to you, what should I do? Should I just let her die?”
Charisma sighed and pat him on the back. “Well, I’m just here to make sure you use your powers wisely. If someone happens to die because of it, that’s fine with me. Now, do you have any questions?”
Lie Wei Ying looked over at Charisma who seemed to no longer be there. He was still in the park a second ago, but now he noticed the trees. They were beautiful cherry blossoms and their leaves were being sent across the park. He walked over towards one of the trees realizing why he didn’t wait for his answer. He didn’t have any question that he wanted to ask.
He walked for a few minutes and then arrived at the city. It looked familiar and he kept walking until he arrived at the Forging Tea House. It was right next to a buffet where Chun Hua was serving some customers. He didn’t notice her and walked inside the doorway.
Inside the Tea House, there was countless people sitting on mats waiting for tea. It was a modern tea house with archaic matts and people hovering over tables. Notably, there was a man and women waiting for him with red suits, and he followed them up to the third floor.
Once he arrived, he ordered some food hearing his stomach rumbling. A second later, he turned over in front of him and Yu Yan was there with his food! She sat down at the table with him and then reached over and grabbed his cheeks.
“…I missed you, Lie Wei Ying…”
Lie Wei Ying confusedly looked over at her feeling a sense of relief knowing that she wasn’t dead. She leaned in and kissed him before Lie Wei Ying felt a spear stabbing into his heart.
Lie Wei Ying went flying backwards before he crashed into the ground… A second later, he realized he had returned to the battle field with the gigantic green monsters. Yu Yan was no longer there, and the bamboo stick was back in his hand.
‘Ugh, so to teach me a lesson, you’re going to make it impossible to understand what’s going on… I also can’t breakthrough, none of my history is sacred in here, and he seems to know everything about me. Am I even going to be able to win this battle…”
There were cruisers in the sky flying towards him slowly lining up behind the monsters with the crowns spinning on their backs. All he had was a spear and they could use powers, guns, and teamwork.
He was much smaller than they were, and also the ships were far faster than he could move.
He got up noticing his hands were now thicker, and his feet muscles stronger. In a few hours, it would be the end of the day and he could see if the puppet worked, but alas the monsters sent out beams before thousands of more energy beams rocketed towards him.
Like an agile tiger Lie Wei Ying decided to use the terrain. He ran through the buildings as they were blasted with beams sending glass and shrapnel beaming like light speed bullets at him.
Seeing as he only had a stick versus this entire world, he deflected those millions of pieces with just a spin of his wrist.
After that, he spun up into the air utilizing just a light tap off the ground! He appeared in front of one of the beasts and reached out his hand grabbing it by the face.
‘Down you go big guy!’
He slammed down the building beneath it seemed to blow up instantly. Once he landed on the ground, he sighed seeing the sun setting on this day.
