Overpowered System! - Chapter 153:The 'Goblins' Arrive.
As Lie Wei Ying walked toward the doorway, he felt a calming breeze land in front of him. The multiplayer system port he was supposed to enter was crushed, and a hundred men were standing around him.
“Hmmm, so you silly dragon think Fate wouldn’t find out about your treachery?”
A man with a gigantic sword on his shoulder looked at Lie Wei Ying. He was roughly the same size as Lie Wei Ying, but the men around him were much smaller.
These men were known as ‘Goblins’ and were part of Fate’s armies. When Fate saw what the dragon saw, he had sent these men down immediately via a portal.
These men arrived here instantly via that portal. Since they met the requirements of the second realm, they were able to be sent down with little cost to Fate.
That being said, these men were all in the Sovereignty Diadem realm, and on their heads was a crown. These crowns were the sign of the Sovereignty rank, and Lie Wei Ying was not informed of their might.
What was even worse, though, was that they had the nerve to crush his portal into the multiplayer system. It was one of the quickest ways for him to train, and this man was standing on its rubble.
“I was only sent here to be a protector! I am a neutral lord! You should not be finding fault with me here!”
The dragon could only look as these men as if they were beneath him. He had a much stronger form in the third realm, and if they dare attacked him he’d eat their families!
“Well… regardless… this Lie Wei Ying has to die. It’d be nice if you didn’t interfere you rock dog.”
Lie Wei Ying laughed and walked out with his sword in hand. He knew that him and Fate had history, but he wasn’t aware of Fate’s vast armies.
In fact, when he truly thought about it, Fate was the one pushing this battle.
He, on the other hand, was just trying to defend himself and his family. It didn’t make sense, either, that Fate would place such importance on him. After all, he truly was a single person. If Fate wasn’t such a pain in the ass, he’d have no reason to battle his armies, or destroy his kingdom.
But, for some reason, his talent was that noticeable and Fate grew worried.
….
A moment later, after a stare down.
Lie Wei Ying activated his defiance and attempted to understand it once again.
Defiance was a new path, and most likely it had the potential for its own foundations.
Lie Wei Ying was somewhat of a pioneer in this new path to power. With it, all new roads had to be carved and sculpted.
Usually, for instance, when you learned a skill, there’d be certain things to go with it. He was working on something called the will of defiance. It was when he was with Yu Yan of all times that he had this insight.
That day the weather was beautiful and a bird was chirping in a nest with its young. It was a sign of the circle of life, and likewise he too wished to create. However, since he hadn’t learned creation yet, he activated his defiance and formed a small ball.
When this first appeared, he felt somewhat not in control of it. If he was truly a creator, he’d feel in control, but defiance’s very nature was to not be controlled. However, what if he didn’t try to control it?
Was defiance the opposite of creation, and did it contrast because it wasn’t meant to be controlled? He began pondering how he could use something that couldn’t be controlled and the small red ball in his hand was set free from his will.
A second later, when he let go of that ball, his unconsciousness seemed to take over. A second later, he noticed it had transformed into a bird. Despite that, a second ago he consciously wanted a bird, but when he tried to make one it failed.
At this point, he concluded perhaps it was best to not try too hard when using defiance.
It was then that he started working on this will… He’d wish something, and his body would somehow cause it to happen.
Now, though, it was getting to the point of what he’d call level 2 defiance. Unfortunately, that was the best naming convention he could come up with. He wasn’t very good with names, and level 2 defiance carried its point.
Now, this defiance of his seemed to respond to his desires as long as he didn’t try to tame it.
….
Lie Wei Ying wished for a hundred defiance clones to form, but only stirred the forms. A second later, when he stopped trying, they seemed to appear in front of him.
Across from him, the ‘Goblin’ troops activated their transcendent domains and laughed as billions if not trillions of lightning, and ice, and dragon clones appeared around them. These men seemed to have all first rate transcendent domains, but Lie Wei Ying just plopped down on the floor
“Have fun guys,” Lie Wei Ying turned over towards his troops formed out of that black and red complex energy. A second later, as if they were alive, they summoned swords into their hands.
Moving at nearly 50,000 times the speed of light, these clones shot forward as Lie Wei Ying walked over to check on the portal.
