Paragon of Sin - Chapter 1653: : Seizing Wealth; Never Fair
The vault of the Yun Grain Major Region was extensive and vast, comparable to a titanic-sized spatial realm with nothing but treasures throughout that could rival starfields. It was a dedicated Secret Realm with numerous layers of seals and restrictions placed everywhere. However, those seals and restrictions might as well not exist before Wei Wuyin’s Draconic-Paragon-fueled, Void Force-empowered Void Shifts.
While Wei Wuyin was ‘strolling’ through the vault casually, the truth of the matter was that he was zipping across with void shifts at set intervals of distance, waving his hands as he sucked in everything in sight without causing the slightest disturbance. The area of the vault was far too immense.
It was difficult to take everything in an instant.
“What riches…” Wei Wuyin kept going as the commotion occurring outside was ongoing, inducing galaxy-quaking reverberations constantly. The Renenutet’s Vault contained far too much at far too high level. He stumbled upon a Mystic-Heaven grade material more than once, stored carefully and properly, and while they were mostly low-tier within the grade, the material was enough to have Sages salivating and Supreme Sages intrigued.
With Enlightened Sage and Teng Jiangwen’s memories, Wei Wuyin was aware that the Internal World of cultivators had some limitations, and storing incredibly high-graded materials within can lead to unpredictable results, especially material that exceeded their cultivation such as Mystic-Heaven grade material, was rather difficult. After all, to properly contain such resources without incessant and hectic fluctuations, their Internal World had to establish an outer layer rivaling a Galactic Shell with richly infused mana throughout.
The cultivation of one’s Internal World was a path in and of itself, and it was an arduous, difficult path to pursue. The vast majority of Internal Worlds were no different than low-leveled, mystic-tier Secret Realms and World Realms. That’s why they could house living things and store Mystic-Earth and Mystic-World graded materials and artifacts.
While one could thoroughly seal these higher-leveled items before storing them, the slight chance that these seals shatter would lead to catastrophic outcomes. Only an ability like Void Crystallization that can thoroughly contain all fluctuations was reliable.
Wei Wuyin’s personally refined Saint Rings were forged from the Internal World of Earthly Saints and higher cultivators, the true origin of all Saint Rings, and the vast majority of them either belonged to ancient experts, deceased Chosen from the Chosen King Competition, Teng Jiangwen’s spoils covering tens of thousands of years, and Sage Springfield’s spoils as well! Due to his refinement with Draconic Void Energies before his ascension and infusion of his refined mana, many of them had the strength of minor galactic layers, capable of holding Mystic-Heaven graded materials.
To many, properly reforging Saint Rings to this level was nigh-impossible and time-consuming, and many were unable to contain minute amounts of Mystic-World materials to begin with, but Wei Wuyin’s Minor Time Law, Draconic Void Energy, and Mana were sufficient to easily create these empowered rings.
If he sold these rings on the market, he would certainly make a killing.
And this was one of the reasons why! The Renenutet’s Vault was protected but not secure, but if a Saint Ring could contain all of this, Sages would never allow their immense wealth to leave their sight. While this would certainly lead to other changes, many cultivators would prefer this option!
“This will take some time, and I have to do all eight,” Wei Wuyin murmured with a barely contained smile.
Taking one’s time? He was more than willing!
Meanwhile, Zhan Jiangwen could keep them busy.
“OH? Are those Sky-World Lightning Essence Crystals? What quality!”

FOURTH FIST!!!
The shadowy haze of a figure launched his fourth fist as he was obstructed by a world of black and white sand that twisted for hundreds of thousands of miles. With a ferocious bellow, a devastatingly tiny planet-sized hole was blasted through as the entire world of sand trembled and vibrated intensely, barely containing its gathered form.
‘So strong!’ Sage Imentet was startled by the figure’s increasingly intense attacks. ‘So this is the power of the Law of Momentum!’ She realized she had to disturb his gathered momentum before he reached peak strength, and she formed hundreds of hand-seals at lightspeed. Sage-level Spiritual Power gathered at her glabella with a brilliant outburst of black and white light. She kept a steady distance away as she kept annoying the shadowy figure with raging surges of waves upon waves of black and white stormy sand, trying to boggle his movements.
“Don’t!” Sage Nepit sent in panic.
Sage Imentet ignored him. She honed onto the shadowy haze of a figure and was ready to unleash an Ascension Art!
BOOSH!!!
FIFTH FIST! SIXTH FIST!
The shadowy haze of a figure was still boggled down, yet the redirection of focus created a small opening, and he turned around and faced the distant Sage Imentet. With lightning speed, he threw two punches that released a boom of demonically-vigorous thunder. The entire Hidden Desert Major Region shook and the orbit of many starfields was beyond saving. If not for the preparation of formations guarding them against this common occurrence of stellar-orbit discombobulation, trillions upon trillions of lives would have died in an instant.
They would have either died due to the depravity of warmth from the increasingly distant solar stars or collision with other planets. There was an unseen struggle of top-tier experts steering their planets. The scene was hectic and terrifying to experience!
Two fists were unleashed back-to-back without a single pause. The fist force traveled trillions of miles in a single thought, leaving a wake of torrential waves.
Sage Imentet’s aura fluctuated as shock enveloped her tiny figure within the vast cosmos. Her instincts screamed at her of an incoming deadly threat, and she canceled her Ascension Art without hesitation. She spewed out blood at the backlash, her glabella splitting open, and she executed with her full effort an Ascension Movement Art that turned her into a sandstorm and split into ten thousand strands of flowy sand.
Half of those strands were blasted apart into nothingness while the other half escaped before reconvening several hundred thousand of miles away into a slender, exceedingly gorgeous figure that could stimulate a blind man. She was garbed in black and white robes with a blooming golden lotus flower on her stomach. Her level of beauty was heart-stopping with long black hair, golden irises, and rich, warm, brown skin.
Those mesdemet-decorated eyes narrowed fiercely as her full lips leaked a wisp of black and white intermingled blood from one side. She wiped the blood from her luscious lips, observing as the shadowy haze of a figure had left her region with a few explosive movements. She could no longer draw strength from her surroundings with such might as before if she pursued him beyond her region.
Sage Nepit spat begrudgingly, “Idiot!”
While he said this, he didn’t mean it. Sage Imentet wasn’t wrong in her approach, but she simply underestimated the strength of her opponent and the speed of his attacks. She was lulled into a false belief by a purposeful delay between fists. After all, if the shadowy haze of a figure could unleash and build up momentum instantaneously and infinitely, then he would be unbeatable!
“What a troublesome woman!” Zhan Jiangwen muttered as he contained the white soul blood threatening to spew out of his lips from a geyser in his throat.
There was a limitation regarding his attacks and Seven Asura Fists Ascension Art, his main form of attack, required a steady gathering of aura and power, but if he ignored the backlash, he could unleash the next fist with slightly less strength than typical, and the art would prematurely end. The Minor Law of Momentum that had gathered within him would dissipate and he couldn’t translate that momentum to other arts, spells, or means.
The sixth fist thrown ahead of schedule had disrupted so much, but that Spiritual Spell that was about to be unleashed might have halted him regardless. Sage Imentet wasn’t wrong! Moreover, she had reached decisively, suffering internal injuries to create a Substitution Ascension Art, and he missed hitting the real Sage Imentet hiding in her flowy sand.
“I always hated fighting those battle talents…” Zhan Jiangwen complained as he flew out of the Hidden Desert Major Region and aimed to pierce through the galactic layer and escape!
BOOSH!!!
An explosion rumble caused Zhan Jiangwen’s scalp to tingle.
Without thinking, he performed an aileron roll by tilting his body. A streak of yellow light pierced past him, barely missing his chest.
Sage Pakhet!
A valiant beauty with sharp, piercing eyes, a slender yet toned body, sporting sleek dark hair at the sides with neatly trimmed bangs covering her forehead, was stepping through the void like a lioness on the hunt. Her lips were slightly opened, revealing four sharp incisors bearing a strong animalistic feeling yet only highlighting her fierce beauty.
Seeing such eyes aimed at you with such feral intensity and murderous intent, Zhan Jiangwen felt his spine shiver. With a twist, he halted himself and got into a steady fist stance.
Sage Pakhet was the fastest by far in this field of spatial restriction. He didn’t need to consider for a moment longer regarding trying to escape from her as that was futile. The best course of action was to deal with the threat.
By using a combination of the Six-Fists Asura Visualization Method and Neo-Dawn Visualization Method, Zhan Jiangwen’s aura began to rapidly escalate to new levels. Sage Pakhet’s pupils shrunk slightly, but her rocketing figure remained undaunted as she formed two claws that released vibrant yellowish physical power that painted billions of miles of void in a yellowish hue. Entire planets saw their skies turn yellow.
She had been gathering strength this entire time!
FIRST FIST! SECOND FIST! THIRD FIST! FOURTH FIST! FIFTH FIST! SIXTH FIST!!!
Zhan Jiangwen didn’t care about backlash as he unleashed each fist without pause! Each punch was as if the drums of heaven were being pounded by a fierce demon to alert the entire universe of its determination for conquest and destruction. Every punch was concentrated to an extreme.
Sage Pakhet was taken aback by such an attack, yet she didn’t hold back either as she unleashed her strongest art that formed a gigantic lioness manifestation resembling a Soul Idol that was hundreds of thousands of meters tall. It pounced toward Zhan Jiangwen as she slashed with both claws!
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
The roar of an asura and an apex lioness boomed across the galaxy! Their clash took away color, distorted time, and rearranged the natural borders of Stellar Regions!
Wei Wuyin sniffed slightly as he finished looting the vault.
“Next,” with a grin, he circulated his Draconic-Paragon Void Energy.
But he halted at that moment, lifting his gaze as he observed through his Celestial Eyes an underhanded development.
Sage Nepit had launched a timely, long-distance Spiritual Spell against Zhan Jiangwen using some type of spiritual medium on Sage Pakhet’s body. Sages could not be underestimated. None of them were fighting fairly, relying stealthily on drawing power from their regions’ formations, either accumulated and held like Sage Pakhet, continuously drawn from like Sage Imentet, channeled for a single spell from Sage Nepit, or controlled to maintain the God Cage of Eight Directions by Sage Nepri.
Zhan Jiangwen’s status transmitted through the Nexus War Flag was on the verge of defeat. In fact, his Spirit of War body was mostly destroyed after the clash.
But when were fights ever fair? Especially this one!
Wei Wuyin brought out the Nexus War Flag and gave a command. Immediately, Zhan Jiangwen’s aura began to change. Long ago, Wei Wuyin had once given his energy to Zhan Zhang to form a body for himself and allowed him to access a portion of his strength. Now that he had Mystic Force…
When were fights…ever fair?

Sage Nepit’s eyes glowed with intense spiritual light and his breathing was a little heavy. He observed the clash between Sages with incredible focus, trying to figure out the outcome. Given all their preparation and planning, even a Sage with a Minor Law would suffer or be killed. This was their galaxy after all! They had geological advantages to the absolute limits of feasibility.
Suddenly, his eyebrow twitched.
“…what?”
