Chapter 1659 1652: Aftermath of an Impoverished Galaxy (2)
Galactic Discussion!T/his chapter is updat𝓮d by n𝒐v(ê(l)biin.co/m
After deciding their next course of action, the Sages of the No-Name Galaxy and leaders of the various regions acted rapidly. They returned to settle the disharmony of stellar alignments and celestial phenomena that were born from their conflict. Despite their caution and planning, the effects Sage-level clashes had on a galaxy, especially the starfields, stellar Regions, and individuals in minor and major regions that resembled galactic zones were visibly drastic and unpredictable.
Relative to the galactic population, the casualties weren’t high, but when limited to starfields or stellar regions, the casualties were tragic and despairing. The broken pieces of many lives had to be repaired. And many of these broken pieces would be forever unable to return without significant sacrifice.
Countless screams of appalling horror and agony as apocalyptic scenes unfolded on planets with partially destroyed atmospheres.
The shockwaves of Sages’ mystic power were laced with faint traces of soul energy and the aura of Laws made the consequences heavier and those worlds and areas led by Exalted, Venerable, Highland, Rune King, and World Emperor-level were left helpless to resolve many of the issues. It was difficult to rely on Temporal Reversion to undo the damages or repair the damages immediately. So the stronger forces had to act in haste. Even then, these Original Magistrates, Mystic Overlords, and the eight Sages needed to mobilize and prioritize their actions, including regulating and controlling the exhaustion of their difficult-to-refine mystic energies.
Additionally, the longer it took to resolve these issues or repair those losses, the greater the cost would be. Not to mention, the fight between them left many of the Sages exhausted and severely injured.
For example, Sage Nepri was unable to assist at all as she went into immediate seclusion. Sage Pakhet had taken a vanguard position and had severely exhausted her mystic energies and suffered numerous injuries. She, however, remained within the Stormy Rain Major Region and oversaw the repairing efforts to the stellar alignments and defusing the chaotic celestial phenomena that emerged from time to time causing problems to persist and loss of lives to continue.
This upcoming series of days was bound to be one drenched in agony, suffering, and an understanding of the depths of insignificance that many cultivators had when compared to those truly powerful beings. With a single punch, they could eradicate their entire lives on a whim.
However, something unexpected happened.
A group of cultivators who noticeably looked and felt different than their native counterparts despite adopting their clothing styles and respecting their customs began to emerge from all over with oval mirrors. They would meet with the respective ruling party of the regions, ask a few things, and then go out and use the light emitted from the mirror to cause an astonishingly breathtaking scene to occur.
Corpses long deceased began to glimmer with temporal light, and with a startling breath, they would experience a reversal of causation on their bodies and nearly departed souls. There were incidents of entire cities that were laid to waste by the shockwaves and rampant celestial movement, including the violent rumbling throughout the earth and skies, which was repaired brick by brick as if it was being rebuilt.
Those who were crushed into meat paste, those who were obliterated by sudden outbursts of chaotic power, or even those killed by the sinister intentions of others after seeing the situation grow chaotic and sought to take advantage of this opportunity began to return to life. Their deaths were reversed by the light emitted by the mirror!
Wherever these people left, a name was hanging from the lips as the responsible party.
Alchemic Saint Luo Ning.
Symbols of the Hepta-Dawn Alchemic Corps and images of those carrying mirrors would find themselves unexpectedly painted on walls as beautiful murals, carved as wooden sculptures placed on shelves, or designed in many fashionable attires. This was a sign of respect and gratefulness that was synonymous with the entire galaxy’s culture-to return the favor with celebration and recognition.
Before the battle, within the Hidden Desert Major Region, Luo Ning’s name was known by some of the top cultivators and organization leaders as an Earthly Saint Alchemist who was visiting here temporarily, making her way toward the Utmost Purity Galaxy to experience its rich culture of alchemy and meet talented experts of the Alchemic Dao.
She had sold a few Mystic-Earth products, discussed with other Alchemic Saints of the region, and concocted openly to showcase a distinction between her home’s methods and theirs. The comparison was met with astonishing praise, but most importantly, she garnered enough recognition that Sage Imentet decided to meet her personally and discuss questions about her homeworld.
They became friends throughout that exchange.
Most of this information became leaked after the visits by those cultivators, saving lives indiscriminately, and assisting however they could. While they were few in number, they seemed to appear everywhere. Only then did people realize the mirrors were rare treasures that harnessed the power of Space and Time. While they might not be true Heavenly Treasures, they were infused with high-quality Void Energy and traces of the Laws of Time.
Before long, the loss of population was almost entirely dealt with thanks to those mirror-carrying cultivators sent by Alchemic Saint Luo Ning. Additionally, products designed for appendage repair and recovery of the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth-grades, including the Ever-Rebirth Pill, began to circulate with severely reduced to almost costless prices.
While the temporal light had brought others to life, at most it returned them to their states prior to death, and there were still many who were unaffected as they were severely injured or maimed, not dead. This was originally frustrating, but given the limited power within the mirrors, they had to prioritize saving lives over repairing bodily, mental, or cultivation base conditions.
These pills that were flooding the market with generous terms were like charcoal in the dead of winter, including a fire-starter kit and pre-built igloo!
The sheer amount of alchemical products flooding the galaxy caused the respective leaders to be deeply shaken. While Alchemic Saint Luo Ning’s origins were certainly extraordinary given she was traveling across galaxies, a feat that even Sages wouldn’t do carelessly, the sheer quantity of products and her means was incredible.
News of her assisting at a critical time and saving Sage Imentet’s life spread, including how she temporarily exhibited the strength of an Enlightened Sage and caused the thief to run in fear, cursing her vehemently as he did.
Eventually, her origins were exposed.
The Neo-Dawn Empire.
This naturally cascaded into a subsequent execution of sly divination and probing digs at further information. It was eventually discovered that the Neo-Dawn Empire was beyond the simple word: Mysterious.
Besides a few bits of information, they only knew that the Neo-Dawn Empire was recently formed and led by the Neo-Dawn Ascension Emperor. For those at Sage Amunet’s level, they discovered that the Neo-Dawn Empire had left traces within the White Abyssal Galaxy and Sky Heart Galaxy. Additionally, the traveling Mystic Overlord maidservant was a former elite of the White Abyssal Galaxy that had submitted to one of the women of the Neo-Dawn Ascension Emperor, Cao Cuifen.
This led to many approaching her after the news leaked. They sought information that wasn’t protected by countless layers of divination protection. Before long, the fact that the White Abyssal Galaxy had decided to become the vessel state of the Neo-Dawn Ascension Emperor after a short visit, including his status as peak Worldly Alchemic Saint was exposed.
Furthermore, Cao Cuifen hinted at his unprecedented talent in the Alchemic Dao and unrivaled strength within the same stage of cultivation. She didn’t divulge everything, but she spared no praise toward her lover, and all who questioned her saw the genuine signs of love and admiration within her gaze.
It soon came into a circle as they realized that Luo Ning was the Neo-Dawn Ascension Emperor’s personal assistant. Her means were certainly given to her by that unfathomable existence! As for those mirrors, the cultivators that carried them, and the flood of products, there wasn’t much buzz regarding the first two, but the last one…when Luo Ning casually mentioned in a meeting of Alchemic Saints and high-level cultivators that they were purely practice products that she was casually given, the entire upper echelon of the galaxy went into an uproar.
There were endless questions about his whereabouts but Luo Ning could only say:
“His Majesty is currently consolidating his insights after a recent breakthrough. However, he was here initially. In fact, some of you had met him before.”
When they heard those words, they were stunned. Especially as she began to describe a silver-eyed, unearthly handsome, and unforgettable figure that had traveled alongside her in the background as an ordinary character. The figure was noticed by a few of them, and when they heard that this individual who seemed like a mortal was the Neo-Dawn Ascension Emperor, they were deeply shaken.
Before long, three days passed…

Hidden Desert Major Region.
Sage Imentet lay comfortably on a lodging couch, her head resting on fluffy pillows, her clothing was borderline thin bedwear designed for peak comfort, and it accentuated her astonishing figure to the utmost. She was a tantalizing sight for the eyes, a readied feast that no one would decline. She was being fed grapes by two beautiful female servants while her feet were being gently rubbed by another. There was a young girl, no more than ten, who used her slender arms to fan a banana leaf, creating a fragrant breeze.
Luo Ning sat on a chair opposite the couch with proper posture, her eyes revealed a little helplessness at seeing the relaxed Sage Imentet who didn’t mind showing her gorgeous body or her luxurious habits.
“If not for your help, our Hidden Desert Galaxy might not have been able to recover so quickly,” Sage Imentet said with a heart-snatching smile.
“I was simply doing what I could,” Luo Ning politely replied. Sage Imentet’s eyes glowed in response. Despite Luo Ning having saved her life and expended great cost, she remained entirely humble and kind.
“You can be more familiar with me, Sister Ning.” Sage Imentet’s offer would have caused any existence within the No-Name Galaxy to shudder with excitement and lunge at the opportunity, especially men, yet Luo Ning only smiled slightly.
“I am, Sister Imentet,” Luo Ning replied. Sage Imentet was a legitimate True Sage expert, and while she wasn’t being overly formal, she decided to maintain a respectful distance.
Pouting her luscious lips, Sage Imentet could only accept that short response. She was aware that Luo Ning kept a strong distance from others, and the fact she was using the term ‘sister’ was already enough to gauge their closeness.
“Then, tell me: How did you acquire the power of an Enlightened Sage back then?” Sage Imentet asked as she ate a grape that was placed on her tongue. She wasn’t the only one curious about that.
“This…” Luo Ning was slightly awkward hearing that question.
Sage Imentet followed with, “If I’m prying into closely guarded secrets, then you don’t have to. After all, I don’t want to place my friend in a difficult spot.” She took a step back, but the desire to know still radiated from her sensual eyes.
Luo Ning was quiet for a while before she inhaled and exhaled softly, saying:
“His Majesty taught me a unique art to temporarily gain the powers of a cultivator. But it requires a refined drop of their essence blood. He said he learned it from a beloved member of the heavens. It’s very taxing on the soul, body, and cultivation base though, but I saw how the situation was becoming, and you were…”
She dragged her words at the end, unable to finish, yet the implied meaning of Sage Imentet’s critical situation was clear.
“…” Sage Imentet silently stared at Luo Ning’s youthful beautiful countenance. The fact that Luo Ning was willing to exhaust a drop of Enlightened Sage’s refined essence blood for her was naturally moving. She slowly rose from her lazy position, waving her hands casually.
She didn’t need to speak as her subordinates all left the room with silent yet hasty feet. Before long, the two women were alone.
“I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to thank you properly for saving my life back then,” Sage Imentet’s voice softened. Not only had Luo Ning saved her life, but she gave her a peak-quality, low-tier Mystic-World product to rapidly recover her powers to stay in the fight. Then, she provided assistance to the galaxy, but the region that suffered the worst was hers.
“I didn’t do this for any reward,” Luo Ning hurriedly clarified.
Sage Imentet’s eyes glowed as her gaze softened. She moved toward Luo Ning, placing her face before hers, feeling her soft breathing on her lips and cheeks.
Luo Ning was briefly taken aback by the sudden closeness of Sage Imentet, but she didn’t retreat, only stared back at those shining eyes of hers with an unflinching gaze. Countless unsaid words were exchanged by their gazes.
Before long, two lips naturally met.

It was soon announced that the galactic discussion would be held in three days, and all cultivators at the World Emperor level or higher were required for mandatory attendance.
