Paragon of Sin - Chapter 1660 1653: Aftermath of an Impoverished Galaxy (3)
Chapter 1660 1653: Aftermath of an Impoverished Galaxy (3)
Stretching his arms, legs, and spine at the edge of a freshwater lake, releasing a comforting moan rife with satisfaction, Wei Wuyin found himself enjoying the rays of solar light touching his skin. In three days, the galactic-wide discussion would occur, which will involve the majority of forces.
According to his timeline, this was roughly on schedule by a day or two early. This development was a sign of his plans working beautifully, and while there were some hiccups, such as Zhan Jiangwen almost killing Sage Imentet by accident. The panic in his voice was still ringing in Wei Wuyin’s ears, but there were very few plans that survived the test of execution that didn’t have contingencies.
“What now?” The Heavenly War Spirit was spewing at the mouth in hysterical awe after Wei Wuyin began his thieving spree of an entire galaxy. However, she had originally thought he would be caught, forced to wage wars against a galaxy, and potentially face a Supreme Sage of the Resonant Soul Realm, yet as it continued to develop, he was reliably skipping across all suspicion. Additionally, the name of the Neo-Dawn Empire was circulating with positive feelings at the moment across the galaxy.
The Ascendants were even playing a role here, visiting regions affected by the subsequent damage of a multi-Sage conflict, securing the goodwill of people, and causing Luo Ning’s name to resonate indirectly. She was jumping with excitement at the possibility of Wei Wuyin essentially solving his empire’s greatest concern, the lack of materials and foundation of wealth.
It had to be known that while the Ancient Sealed Regions were resource-filled, these resources were lower-leveled, and Wei Wuyin’s Neo-Dawn Empire had established astonishingly new standards for cultivators, which required the cultivation of a World-Bound Star Domain, development of World Runes pre-Mystic Ascendant Realm, and the pursuit of an Astral Idol. Each Ascendant was on a path to the potential pinnacle of a Mortal.
With all these varied materials of qi, astral, Mystic-Earth, Mystic-World, Mystic-Heaven, and esoteric, ungradable materials such as Heaven Relics, there was no longer a need to fuss over supplying for his developing empire, whether they were the cultivation of realms, planets, starfields, cultivators, or beasts. Of course, she was fully aware that while Wei Wuyin had just committed the theft of an era, his original goal was never those resources.
“The galactic discussion will be our platform,” Wei Wuyin shortly answered as he circulated his clear, flawless mystic force across his forearms and hands, feeling the sensation of his mystic energies pulsating through him. It was a wondrous feeling to experience.
“Do you think it’ll work?” The Heavenly War Spirit asked with a mind full of questions.
“We’ll see,” Wei Wuyin watched as his clear flow of mystic force transformed into a seven-colored radiance that was glowing a faint silvery light. After receiving his Magi inheritance, he discovered the origins of Eden’s Mind Dao was the very power that embodied the Akashic Records of Creation, allowing it to utilize all of its amazing powers, such as mind-reading and the divulgence of experiences.
He had once believed that Eden’s powers originated from its unique, stationary semi-demonic state as he abandoned its large, growing body to possess him long ago. However, after learning of the Magi’s Akashic Records of Creation, he realized that Eden had fused with his latent potential and intermixed with its own, and transformed into an Alchemic Akashic Astral Soul after Wei Wuyin pursued that path.
He had very little idea of the implications of this in relation to the Magi’s lineage or Eden’s future path. The only thing he knew was that Eden was a fascinating Astral Soul that required further study on its abilities and limitations. For example, Eden had evolved somehow, greatly elevating its mind-reading abilities, but what did that evolution entail and why did it happen?
‘Perhaps using Eden will drastically reduce the time required to cultivate a Scroll of Akasha within my mental realm.’ After thinking about the process, he felt there was a great potential that Eden would bring about great benefits to cultivating the Magi’s inherited method.
“Are you going to concoct?” The Heavenly War Spirit noticed Wei Wuyin summoning his alchemical energies. At the moment, Wei Wuyin had taken a huge leap across cultivation and entered an unprecedented path that had likely never been traveled before. Now, he had to maximize his Mystic Star Phase cultivation base before stepping fully into the Mystic Dao.
With three days left, there was plenty of time to attempt to concoct an alchemical product to test his current standings and abilities. After all, Wei Wuyin’s entire existence had changed on a fundamental level, especially his Stellar-Paragon Physique, which was divided and fused, amplifying its latent potential multiple times.
Even the strength of the Mortal and Mystic Dao’s blessings was intensely radiating from his body, and there was an eternal aura that permeated throughout his body. He had so many unexplored benefits that he needed time to consolidate and calculate every last aspect of his transformations.
“…” Wei Wuyin thought about it for a short while before deciding to try concoction some of his more familiar products to gauge the difference in quality of products, time of concoction, and ease of refinement. While Bai Xiu was currently with Luo Ning, he could use his secondary cauldron to attempt.
“Sure,” Wei Wuyin decided to concoct his first series of Neo-Dawn Alchemic Lineage products to test his current level of alchemy. With a wave of his hand, a makeshift Original Dawn Palace appeared on the lake, extracted from his Saint Ring, not disturbing the sea life within. He walked right in until he reached his Alchemical Chamber.Aall 𝒏𝒆west ch𝒂pt𝒆rs on n.o./v𝒆l𝒃i/n/(.)c𝒐m
The Neo-Dawn Eclipse Pill was astonishingly easy to concoct at transcendent-quality. It only took roughly a minute to concoct a full set of thirty-three pills, the initial signs of perfection. This was considerably faster than his previous efforts, and the quality was consistent entirely as his innate mystic aura entered the pill with extreme ease.
“…” Wei Wuyin’s brows furrowed as he inspected the pills. He decided to concoct other products, beginning at first-grade to ninth-grade-all Transcendent-quality. There was no exception. While he had reached a level of concoction of transcendent-quality Mortal-tier products with ease before, this was no different than naturally occurring, with barely any effort on his part. It was as if Eden’s Alchemic Force was naturally infusing the blessing and properties of the Mystic Dao within each product.
In less than thirty minutes, Wei Wiyin had concocted tens of thousands of products of varying grades, all transcendent, and all with astonishing effects. Inspecting his body’s innate energies, he fell into silence.
“What a stupendous concoction speed! You’re insane!” The Heavenly War Spirit had always followed Wei Wuyin since his time as a Realmlord and saw him advance into an unprecedentedly heaven-defying Mortal Saint Alchemist at the tender age of under a hundred. She saw him concoct with speed that would send chills down any Alchemist’s spine and instill inferiority within them, yet this was entirely different!
Wei Wuyin set aside his cauldron and began to inspect his innate energies and aura. Whenever he executed any idle movement, the blessing of the Mortal Dao, Mystic Dao, and that eternal aura naturally flowed within it.
“…” Wei Wuyin’s eyes glowed as he found a Soul Idol Phase cultivator on the planet, a young boy with an adventurous spirit and lofty dreams. After briefly thinking about it, he buried a transcendent-quality Neo-Dawn Eclipse Pill nearby and caused it to pulsate with an ancient aura.
He observed as the boy ‘stumbled’ upon it curiously, realizing that it was likely an ancient pill that was recently exposed from the ground after all the earthquakes and chaotic weather that had unfolded earlier. Excited, he opened the bottle, smelled it, and was entranced immediately. Without much thinking, greed and desire flashed within his young eyes, and he consumed the pill.
Wei Wuyin watched as his body digested the effects within a few minutes with an ease of refinement that was utterly disgusting to witness for any Alchemist. The Mortal Dao aura latent within it shockingly assisted in the refinement, and the boy developed a Domain Seed that was no different than a genuine Domain Seed, even slightly better in terms of ordinary quality.
“…” Wei Wuyin watched for fifteen to twenty minutes as the boy explored his newfound powers, feeling the effects of having a Domain Seed and Worldly Domain at such a cultivation stage, borderline god-like in sensation of control and power, and he yelped in excitement until he discovered that this power of his would lead to questions and smartly receded his domain.
When he regulated his emotions, displaying a rare sign of maturity, keen foresight, and a high-degree of intelligence, Wei Wuyin nodded at this young boy’s potentially promising future. Then, ignoring the boy, he began to silently think about what he just witnessed.
The Heavenly War Spirit was observing this all too, and her golden mass body was twirling in disbelief. She could see what Wei Wuyin was thinking. The concoction speed was one thing, but the ease of refinement as if assisted by the Daos themselves was world-shaking!
However, her thoughts weren’t what Wei Wuyin was considering. There was an even greater point to consider… …every product from first to ninth was transcendent without his attempts. The Mystic Dao blessing naturally entered the products, attracting the purest principles of Mysticism and transforming those products on a fundamental level. After another half an hour, Wei Wuyin returned to the Alchemical Chambers of his palace.
“What are you thinking about?” The Heavenly War Spirit’s curiosity was eating at her.
“Hm?” Wei Wuyin broke out of his ruminative thoughts. “The blessings acquired by my Stellar-Paragon Physique seemed to have transformed beyond predictable ways after my ascension.”
“Oh? That’s obvious, isn’t it? Your ascension was extremely odd, so there are bound to be unpredictable transformations. You’ll explore them all eventually.” The Heavenly War Spirit consoled. Wei Wuyin had no legacy to look into regarding his current path as he was treading on it alone, at least to his knowledge.
“What do you think of the third blessing’s eternal aura within my body? Do you think it belongs to the Immortal Dao? The path the Jiaolong tried to assail yet failed in the end.” Wei Wuyin had never asked this question to the Heavenly War Spirit before, but even if he had, she couldn’t give him an answer.
“…I don’t know.”
Wei Wuyin didn’t mind her ignorance as he used her as a soundboard, “What do you think is required for Transcendent-quality Mystic-tier products?”
“…” The Heavenly War Spirit was initially confused by that question. Why ask that? She had no answer to such a profound question exceeding her field of expertise.
However, after hearing that question, her golden mass of a body began to tremble uncontrollably with the dawning realization of Wei Wuyin’s implied meaning. “You…don’t…think?”
“What if…” Wei Wuyin let those two words hang on his tongue as the Heavenly War Spirit began to thrum with disbelief. Lifting his arms, clear light flowed once more, exuding an incredibly profound aura of eternity. Within his eyes, spiritual formations began to rapidly circulate, and the Eye of Immortality illuminated his chambers with an eternal radiance.

Three days soon came and went as the leading forces of every Major and Minor Region had gathered toward the Land of Manu, an ancient, grand palace stationary within the Dark Void that was formed using the core of a Solar Star!
