Pastry Chef Sheya - Volume 1 Chapter 41 Cinderella

It had been 3 days since Sheya was discharged from the hospital. The stitches on her head were no longer painful and her apartment already became pleasant to look at ever since Sophie arrived to care for her.

Sophie replaced the old curtains with bright and colourful ones and opened all the windows every morning. She set up a table at the terrace so Sheya can have breakfast there and breathe some fresh air while she enjoyed the view from up above.

“Goodmorning Sheya, breakfast is ready. I made pumpkin soup with croutons. I will just go to my neighbor’s flower shop. She said I could have all the excess and a bit worn out, out of shape flowers for free. I will take them here and put on the center table.” Sophie said.

When she was preparing to leave, Sheya noticed that Sophie’s shoes were worn out and too old. Her dress had some holes on it and her hair was a real messed.

She felt for young Sophie.. instead of studying and enjoying her free time with teenage girls like her, here she was working for other people to help her parents.

Sophie came back after several hours with a plastic bag filled with different flowers. There were roses, carnations, lilies, orchids and tulips. She arranged them and put them on a huge vase with water. She asked Sheya what would she to have for lunch..

” You know what, I’ve been here on bed for 3 straight days.. Let’s go outside for lunch and to relax a little. I will just freshen up and dress up” Sheya replied.

She didn’t want to drive this early so she booked a cab and they went to the nearest mall. They searched for a nice restaurant where they had Thai foods followed by ice cream at a dessert shop nearby then they went to a woman’s department store where Sheya grabbed 3 colourful dresses, 5 asssorted shirts and skirts, 2 pants, 3 shorts, 1 slippers and a lovely stilettos. She also bought some make up and perfume.

” Here, these are all your yours” She said to Sophie while handing her the shopping bags.

Sophie couldn’t believe at first.. she almost screamed and gave her a big hug.. She was so happy.. It was the first time that someone gave her these kind of gifts.

Then they went to a salon where Sheya instructed the hairdresser to give Sophie a haircut followed by a Brazilian blowout.

” How can I ever repay you Sheya?” Sophie asked..

” It’s more than enough that I saw how happy you are.. that’s more than enough payment for me” Sheya answered with a smile on her face.

The two ladies ended the day with fresh sushi and tea for dinner..

It was a Cinderella day for Sophie.. she felt so loved and appreciated..
