Sheya held the letter and read it again,

My dearest Sheya,

You have all the right to forget about us and the life we shared together because of the tremendous pain I caused you. I do regret it every single day. When I discovered that you were pregnant, I must admit I got really hurt and upset.. How I wished I was the father of your baby.. but that wasn’t the case.. But I still wanted to marry you.. Nothing changed..

The reason why I was out of sight for several months was because I wanted to prove myself worthy for you and your baby. I knew how successful your cafeteria is and I’m so proud of you but at the same time, I wanted you to be proud of me as well.

When you thought that I disappeared, I focused my whole time and energy on work. I no longer want to be a freelance photographer so I built my own photography studio and worked day until night until I got a huge break and I am happy to share the good news that my studio has made it in the list of top 10 most in demand team of this year..

My clients are mainly well to do and rich people and they hire me for special events such as wedding, birthdays, baptisms, parties and many other different occasions for quality and artistic photos. I named my business Panda Prints&Photos because I remembered when you used to tell me that pandas are your favourite animals.. I also remembered how you loved wearing your panda slippers and pajamas at night when we were still together.

I still want to marry you.. Please be my wife.. I promise that I will love you and your baby for the rest of my life.

I went to your apartment to personally asked you few days ago but you were no longer there.. And then I saw that you have already given birth but I don’t know how to ask you or if it will be proper to propose while you were regaining your strength back so I decided to write everything instead..

I’m hoping you will tell me about your decision when I come back from work this coming weekend.

Sheya jumped out off the bed and called the nurse.. ” My friend and companion Sophie will be coming back soon.. Please look after my baby, I just need to go after Toby, the man that was here a while ago.” She said while she grabbed a jacket and looked for her shoes.

” But Ma’am, you are not allowed to leave this floor.. You’re not yet discharged.. It’s against the hospital policy” She replied.. ” Please, it is very important.. I will come back.” Sheya pleaded and she ran on the corridor to reach the elevator..
